Anyone else trying for DC3?!

Can't quite believe I've just written that title...after a lot of indecision DH and I have decided to see where fate takes us. So we're not obsessively trying, but I know generally when I ovulate so we'll DTD around that time. Tbh we're still not 100% convinced we'd cope with three, but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith.

I've been thinking about it constantly and our ages mean it's now or never. We adore our 2 DC's and if that's what we're meant to have we'll be very happy, but if fate has other ideas, we're up for the challenge!

I'm going to try and hold off until just before AF is due, I get spotting a couple of days before AF arrives so if that comes then I know I am out

@Anyday88 BFN today could easily be BFP in a few days! As much as I hate the TWW, I do enjoy the 'anything is possible' feeling. Stay positive and miracles could happen

I've got my OPKS and will start testing tomorrow, as I O a bit earlier than CD14 (well I used to, will be interesting to see if I still do). I've got mixed feelings about OPKs - when we were TTC for 2 years for DC1, it was the month we stopped all charting/testing that I got pregnant. With DC2 I got pregnant first try, just by guessing when I ovulated. For me, the charting and testing seems to make me more anxious and that doesn't help TTC. However, I want to check if I'm still ovulating when I used to, so will do it for this month and see.

I can feel that I am putting pressure on myself as I have conceived all three pregnancies on 1st or 2nd cycle. Unfortunately I had a mc in April and this is 2nd cycle post that! I am trying to be realistic but it's so hard and I am torturing myself with the possibility that the mc will have messed with everything 🤷🏼‍♀️

I agree @LittleTipple with my first pregnancy I conceived the month I stopped charting and tracking as I got too stressed out with it.

I have used OPKs this month just to work out if I ovulate when I think I do which has helped.

And @Anyday88 exactly the same feeling here, I keep questioning what is wrong as DS1 was my first cycle after MMC and DS2 was when DS1 was 6months old and first cycle of trying. It's hard not to overthink everything isn't it.

Just been to toilet and had quite a bit of brown cm (tmi sorry) so think I might be out this month. Did have some spotting this past week but seemed to have stopped on Sat. Waiting game now

Thanks @LittleTipple it's turned red now though. Not due on until Saturday / Sunday so it's earlier than normal. Why is TTC so emotionally draining?!

Massively! Getting a bit fed up of trying to be honest. This will be cycle 8 when AF arrives and I know it's not very long when others have been trying for over a year, but both of mine were very quick

I absolutely get what you mean I'm feeling the pressure and it's only cycle 3 post mc but I've always been pregnant cycle 1 or 2 before so I can imagine how you are feeling

Sorry about AF @Megs87! Both my two took a while to conceive and it does start to get you down for a while. I imagine that's intensified if it's been quicker for you before.

CD12 for me today and still very negative OPKs.

I'm only CD22 so another 5 days before AF is due that's gonna drag 🙈

On average about CD16 but it was CD14 last month. My OPKs go dark very gradually but it's not started yet.

Do you use IC ones? I struggled holding my wee for long enough, how do you manage it?

I do use them. I test a couple of times a day as they get darker. I rarely get them completely positive and never get 'blazing' positives because I drink so much water and after pushing two babies out have a weak bladder 🤣 I just go by when they start darkening and then I know I'll probably get a temp rise soon after.

So now it's more like rust blood rather than tinged cm, I have mild cramps and nausea now but don't feel periody. I'm only cd23 with AF not due until Sat or Sun. I am fed up of this cycle now. Think for my sanity I'm going to take a few months off after this!

@Anyday88 light bleeding overnight and again this morning. Have doctors this afternoon, I rang and explained and they wanted to see me. Not AF style bleed nor AF feeling so I'm so confused. Anyway DH is away for 4 months next year so we are having the next couple of months off so at least I won't be due when he is away. Think it will help my sanity.

Sorry to hear about your bleeding @Megs87 - hopefully the doctors have some answers for you! TTC can be so draining so you do right giving yourself a little you time to get yourself in a better place.
