Hi all, just checking in!
I think I'm about 7 DPO and I need to not do the early testing as last month it drove me a bit potty! I was taking tests apart, holding them to the light etc etc which we all know is pointless and will not change the outcome... so gonna try and be strong and no testing till AF due Smile

PassTheAfterEights · 02/06/2018 20:59

Couldn't read & run @weasledee 💪 well done that girl I say, going to try a leaf out of your book this month! Hope the next few days go your way.

Lilimum4 · 02/06/2018 21:29

@KnitKitty I'm sorry to hear your news. I feel your loss I too had the same thing last cycle and its awful. Big hug xx

MrsGS76 · 02/06/2018 22:07

@Blondcat @Boboelephant thanks very much for your advice, very much appreciated!!
@PassTheAfterEights , raw veg? Gosh didn't know that one . Definitely interested in any more tips if you've got! Going to get some pineapple juice and core tomorrow x
@weasledee stay strong!!! And fx for you x

sweetpea0318 · 02/06/2018 22:21

@knitkitty so sorry hun. Def get yourself a big glass of something xxx

PassTheAfterEights · 02/06/2018 22:29

@MrsGS76 your wish! Xx the full list is: keep feet and kidneys warm (?!), eat 1 cup of fresh pineapple daily, including as much core as possible (bromelain for implantation), no heavy lifting or "closed twists" (yoga), no hot baths, avoid raw veg (digesting it diverts blood supply), laugh, and think positive!

HidCat · 02/06/2018 22:32

@PassTheAfterEights I'm guessing building wardrobes isn't regarded as a sensible plan in the TWW then.....

PassTheAfterEights · 02/06/2018 22:43

Hahaha @HidCat I've been at this months to no avail, build away (although - furniture assembly at 2230 on a Saturday? You are dedicated!!) (have replaced my 🍷 with ☕️ though 🙄)

RedRobin7 · 03/06/2018 00:57

So sorry @KnitKitty, thinking of you xx

ek78 · 03/06/2018 07:27

Argh @knitknitty so sorry to hear that. Hope you can have a restful day today.

HidCat · 03/06/2018 07:46

@PassTheAfterEights long since finished the wardrobes lol. Done Saturday morning and last weekend too.

Any testers this morning?

Boboelephant · 03/06/2018 07:48

@RedRobin7 happy anniversary! Have a lovely day and JKS! 😂
@weasledee and @PassTheAfterEights good planning and good luck with not testing. I'm going to try that too!
@MrsGS76 as @Pass says there is lots of stuff saying what not to do but there is also so much saying to relax! My first two pregnancies were very welcome easy surprises and I wasn't even aware of a tww. Do what feels right for you. I am going to do the pineapple core this month but not worry too much about the others.
I do know a bit about it though as I've read everything- crazed Google searcher here! They say it's important to keep your feet warm as the feet and uterus meridian are connected. Cold uterus can be a cause of infertility. Pineapple core (has to be the core of fresh pineapple) contains bromelain which is a natural blood thinner and can help implantation. I hadn't heard of the raw veg but I have read that in the tww you should eat warm foods and try and avoid cold foods- again about keeping your uterus warm. Also beta carotene is important at this stage so good to eat orange foods apparently- carrots, sweet potato etc. I've actually heard yoga is good to do in tww but only certain poses- the ones that suit pregnancy.
So take what you want! Some I've done and some I haven't. I'm still not pregnant though. So who knows!! I think relaxing and being happy is the most important. 😀

Boboelephant · 03/06/2018 07:49

@HidCat I'll be POAS on opks! Not quite the same I know!
When are you testing??

HidCat · 03/06/2018 08:22

@Boboelephant I've been testing with cheapies to satisfy my POaS problem but all bfn. There's a post on here though saying that mine is a dodgy batch - a lady had negatives / extremely faint positives but then had positives on FRER and digi so the sensitivity was wrong. If my period doesn't show by Wednesday I'll do a FRER though. It's weird, as I'm not expecting a positive the POAS isn't stressful, just something I need to do to get it out the way. Needless to say I won't be buying the sensitive cheapies next month and will wait for period due date lol.

MrsLCW · 03/06/2018 10:09

Still BFN this morning for me ladies, I'm so down! X

strawberrye · 03/06/2018 11:00

Morning ladies, so much news to catch up on! Have been reading all your posts but working every day this week til midnight so haven't had much chance to post.

Think I'm out this month, not even sure I ovulated to be honest, my bbt has been so rocky since loss #2. I thought I was getting a bit of a rising pattern then at 8DPO and 9DPO temp has fallen. Don't think implantation dips can be 2 days? But seems to be too early to be falling for AF. Who knows what is happening!

Now I'm off the Clearblue trial I'm planning on having a month of bbt and OPKs to see if I can pinpoint ovulation and my luteal phase.

Sending hugs to all

MrsGS76 · 03/06/2018 11:09

@Boboelephant thanks, yes I've had three normal pregnancies but this Mc has totally thrown us. I'm definitely trying the pineapple this month, CD7 today and was so excited to wake up this morning to start the OPK's . It was a negative but looking forward to the week ahead! Where are you in your CD?
@PassTheAfterEights Good list thanks x going t stop the hot baths (shower instead!) and pineapple all the way x
@MrsLCW sending you a huge virtual hug too , I'm so sorry x

Pancakes7 · 03/06/2018 11:49

The Wedding actually was really good for us. We saw some good friends, had a laugh and danced alot which is just what we needed! It's the most fun we've had since all of this. I do think with each day it gets more bareable. I gradually accept it more. Or just get strong enough to not think about it. I am feeling anxious about work on Monday. But will just have to get on with it.

Bleeding stopped last night. Took test this morning and still a faint positive... Will wait a week and test again as they said 2 weeks after smm. Really hope it goes. I never ever thought I'd be hoping for a BFN.

hellotoyellow · 03/06/2018 12:04

@Pancakes - mine hadn't gone at a week either, good luck. Glad you had a nice time at the wedding.

Joining in the TWW fun. I'm 7dpo and really hoping this month it works...

RedRobin7 · 03/06/2018 14:16

Thanks for the anniversary wishes 😊

Flashing smiley on my digital today and very very faint line on the IC. Sometimes this still means I'm several days away so still unsure what day it'll be. We haven't DTD yet due to jet lag and being exhausted at the end of the day. Really hoping my DH is going to get on board though. He can be quite difficult and I really don't want to be disappointed this week. He knows how much it means to me. I don't want to have sex too early in case he says we only just did it. He really doesn't get it! Think my DH might be an alien...

@Pancakes7 Pleased to hear you enjoyed yourself at the wedding. Dancing to cheesy music always helps lift your mood. It'll also mean the first social gathering is out of the way now so it should be less awkward next time.

MrsGS76 · 03/06/2018 14:56

@Pancakes7 glad to hear you had a fab wedding, from dancing the night away to baby dancing soon ! Fx
@RedRobin7 fx from your DH being on board this week. I'm CD7 and looking at prev preg (which resulted in MC) I'm 99% sure we conceived on the 12 day. So fx for me too that my DH is on board this week. I've just had some pineapple, forgot how lovely and juicy it is! Xx
Happy baby dancing everyone!

KeefBurtain · 03/06/2018 15:54

@MrsGS76 I’m cd7 today too - just finished my first period since the mc. I was going to wait until cd9 to start opk-ing but did one this morning which was quite dark but not quite a +tive. I’ve always had 27 day cycles but the gynae nurse did say that they could be different now.

MrsGS76 · 03/06/2018 16:07

@KeefBurtain , good luck to you too this week! JKS all the way, I'm all prepared for this week ahead, white knickers, best behaviour, positive attitude and pineapple! And off course OPK's !! X look forward to hear how you are getting on this week x

Blondcat · 03/06/2018 16:41

@mrsgs76 and @keefburtain I am also on cd 7 so we are all going to be busy this week! (as long as our dh/dp's are on board Grin) good luck ladies x

Anyday88 · 03/06/2018 16:43

Totally out of the loop after getting back from holiday and then celebrating my daughters 3rd birthday and going back to work after being off with the mc.

How is everyone?

Congratulations to all the bfp’s really sorry to those having a rubbish time!

I am currently 6dpo and it seems so tough this time I don’t know why! Each day I seem to be battling with the ridiculous idea of testing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Where is everyone else now in their cycles?
