TTC after miscarriage Thread 21. JKS

We started ttc on January and were lucky enough to fall pregnant on first month. Went forcprovate 8 weeks scan and baby was only measuring 6 weeks today hen went to epu 9 days later and was only measuring 5 weeks. Had surgical procedure on the Friday in March. I have since had 1 period which last 2 days and we are trying again. First month no luck and I did a pregnancy test and it said no pregnant for this month my period is due in 3 days time. I am using the ovulation test every month.

@Cakelaur I think they have around 20 there (some where hiding from the children there who were running around)
I'm 15dpo and no AF yet but I know she's on her way! Had very little brown spotting the two days, did an IC this morning which was false so I think I can count myself out this month (DH is very disappointed)

Just want to say thank you to all you lovely ladies for all the support you’ve given me over the past few months!! I got a positive digital today so I’m guessing it’s ‘officially official’ now 🤣 sticking around to make sure you all get your bfp’s but certainly can stop posting if it upsets anyone? (Which I would totally understand!) Have the midwife next Thursday, fingers crossed I’m still pregnant then!

@MrsLCW it’s not selfish in the slightest. It’s totally natural, after what we’ve gone through it’s hard to see pregnancy/birth announcements. You can be happy for them and feel sad at the same time, it doesn’t make you selfish hun! Hugs x

Hi everyone, how is it all going? I'm 10 weeks now, have had some random bleeds which scare me everytime. They can't find the source so they just say, 'it's one of those things'.

@peachesarenom wonderful news! I can only imagine how stressful the bleeds have been for you! but fingers crossed your pregnancy continues as smoothly and uncomplicated as possible! Do keep us updated!

I know when my sister miscarried she couldn’t stand to be around pregnant people/hear babies mentioned but I love hearing about it. We have 2 pregnancies announced on my 2017 bus this week, plus a friend who lives in Greece has just put her 12 week scan on fb, and I find myself wanting to know every detail!

Hi everyone!!! With the house move imminent and work and just general life I've been trying to keep off here. Been lurking and reading a few posts, decided though that I probably need you guys more than I think. I actually ovulated properly last month and going for the SMEP this month. Got my positive OPK today so on it for the next 3 days now.

Wellthisunexpected encouraging to hear that you got pregnant after just the once and you thought you'd missed your window. I'm in that boat right now. We've only done BD on what I think was the day after ovulation this month. Still symptom spotting like crazy and today couldn't stop myself buying some FRERs.

After my MC and before TTC again I was convinced I wouldn't want to POAS before AF was late as I didn't feel like I'd want to know too early on in case things went wrong again. I only tested on CD39 with the last pregnancy because the night before I was planning to test I had some bleeding which continued for a few days and thought AF had arrived. But I'm now experiencing POAS obsession for the first time. How does one stop oneself being a crazy lunatic? haha! I really feel like I'm inventing symptoms this month. A "sensation" in the uterus area, possibly darker nipples and heavier boobs (I never get pains) and the burping continues. I'm sure it's just psychological though. I really want to test but I know it's too early. I think conception would have happened a week or 6 days ago if it happened, and which is hasn't.

Would you say this is an almost there? It's an OPK not a HPT.

@MrsLCW I know how you feel. It is hard when you are torn between being happy for those you love and devastated for yourself.
My bf told me last night she's pregnant and I'm so happy for her but it knocked the breath out of me too. She fell as soon they started trying and whilst she's so brilliant and totally deserves it I can't help but wonder why I haven't been so lucky.

I did another yin yoga today which is lovely and relaxing. DH and I have also decided to stop drinking at home for the next month. If nothing else I'll look better in my bathers for our holiday in July!

@Funkyemzie I'd say it's not there yet but getting close. Although I haven't used that brand. Does it say that the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line? If so I'd say keep testing and jks'ing. It'll prob be positive tomorrow.

@KnitKitty I wish I had the answers but unfortunately I am now that crazy obsessed woman who also symptom spots like crazy & tests too early too apparently! I've managed to hold off today and am hoping to hold off till Wednesday morning now before testing again just as I really can't deal with the uncertainty of another squinter! I'll be really annoyed if it's negative though not only because of the obvious & that I've set myself up for disappointment but also because I feel really rough- been off food completely today & if I'm not it means I'm probs Ill or this is a new PMS thing for me post mc!

@hayleyfx & @Wellthisunexpected yes please keep us posted with how you get on! I find it really helpful to hear people in this situation who go on to have healthy pregnancies (which am keeping all crossed for you that both your beans will be this time!). It gives me hope!
