@Cakelaur yay! So happy to hear about your scan! I literally just popped in here to check on you- was that the 10 week scan?? 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 are you doing the harmony / serenity test or anything?

I'm finding it quite hard to keep up with everyone..

There's a lot of new people, I am sorry you find yourselves here but everything will be ok in the end- and you've found a wonderful supportive group here

@KnitKitty you've been asking about symptom spotting- I haven't fully read the thread but I have been noticing so many symptoms this month even tho we are ACTIVELY Preventing conception until I get all my results from blood tests. I am only dpo8 and I have been noticing so many things in the past week- gas, retching when I brush my teeth, feeling bloated and nauseous- but I definitely am NOT pregnant, there is no way- but just imagine if I was TTC I would be convinced that a BFP was around the corner
Just goes to show that these early symptom spottings are just a recipe for disappointment! I'm hoping I can remember this so I don't drive myself nuts when I am on the TTC bus!

I see some bfps! Yay! Fx for all of you and hope they get darker and stick!!!

@MrsGS76 welcome and I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your story with us. This is a wonderful group of supportive ladies. Its safe because we all understand the loss and the need to conceive. You can be as open as you like. Fx and baby dust to you x

I still have no AF🙄just brown spotting/discharge since she should have arrived.
Another bfn this morning which i expected, so can rule pregnancy out. I had changes in boobs a little so hoping she may arrive soon.

Im feeling a bit fed up at the moment and a bit sad and pissed off all in one. Bit of a grumpy bitch.
Fed up with no bfp, no af, no idea where in cycle i really am now. Potentially fw is even further away now.
Fed up with the all consuming efforts of ttc. Fed up that i should be 16w pregnant and im not. Back to feeling a bit alone, like i did around time of mc. DH doesn't seem to understand.
I have no control over any of it and i hate that!!

Hi all. I’m unfortunate enough to be in a similar position to you all so I hope you don’t mind me joining.

On the 21st April I started spotting which turned into a full natural miscarriage on the 24/25th. I should have been 11+3 but my sac was measuring 3/4 weeks behind. I’d seen the h/b at a scan when I should have been 8+4 but it was only measuring 6+6 so I knew deep down what was going to happen.

Haven’t had a period yet - I stopped bleeding from the m/c on the 2nd of May and had a bfn on the 6th.

Yesterday I had really bad cramps and brown stringy discharge which I thought was going to be the start of AF, but had nothing since.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your period after a m/c? Or is it just wait and see. We want to ttc asap but was advised to wait until I’d had a period before we do.

@YellowDaffodils86 hopefully getting it off your chest helped. We all have those times so best to let it out on here. 🤞you get your BFPs soon. I'm assuming my cycles have gone back to the old length roughly (30 - 35 days and ewcm was around the right time for that but no positive opks so God knows. It is annoying being so uncertain, especially when you're used to having regular cycles!

@YellowDaffodils86 unfortunately I doubt it at 13dpo wishful thinking though!
I'm sorry things are a bit poop for you right now. I really hope she shows soon (if not a bfp obviously!) so you can start your next cycle. How many cycles post mc are you? In January which was my fourth cycle post mc I missed AF completely just a tiny bit of spotting and that's it

Hello @KeefBurtain, looks as though you had a natural miscarriage at the same time I did. I also had an early scan just after 6 weeks and saw the heartbeat but the lady said I was measuring less than that. Looking back , I should have known that was a sign? Following the miscarriage, I bled normally for about three days. I’ve just had that brown stringy discharge this morning but nothing since, thought it was my AF but not so sure now. So sorry for your loss. Xx
@YellowDaffodils86 , I too am having a bad day, I should be 18 weeks today, instead I’m thinking of how to start again planning . It’s really comforting that others are in the same position, and we are allowed to have bad days,,, I may just treat myself to a pink gin! Xx 🍸.

@KeefBurtain I'm so sorry you find yourself here, I think everyone is a bit different as to when AF returned for them, mine was four weeks to the day but it can take a fair bit longer than that. I know you've been advised to wait until after that to start trying but there's nothing to suggest you have to. They say this mainly for dating purposes, there's no harm in trying again straight away, in fact many people have fallen pregnant again straight after a mc. Try again as soon as you feel ready

@MrsGS76 our stories are really similar.

It was my 4th baby too.

@DaisyMay25 tbh we haven’t actually done anything to stop falling pregnant, just haven’t been actively trying if you know what I mean.

Hopefully AF will show up soon so I can get my opks out and at least feel like I’m being proactive.

@DaisyMay25 hopefully it's implantation bleed. 🤞🏻

My next scan is in about 10days. Which I'm hoping will symbolise a time to start to relax.

Currently sat at home amongst chaos. My OH's 12 year old son has 8 friend over for a sleep over. They're currently on making silly drinks concoctions and doing the cinnamon challenge which has turned into a chilli powder challenge!!! Haha!! Carnage!!! My garden is covered in chilli powder!!! Hahaha!!!

@KeefBurtain I'm so sorry you find yourself here. AF should show 4-6 weeks after your bfn I think. It took me 3 months to get bfn then 4 weeks to get my period but had horrific PMS. I hope your cycle gets back to normal soon.

Sorry you find yourself here KeefBurtain . I was fortunate that I got regular again immediately after my MC, as though it had just been a period. But that isn't the case for everyone.

YellowDaffodils and MrsGS76 sorry you having such bad days, I hope they are few and far between.

@Boboelephant sorry 🙈I'm a tit- did mean 8dpo Vs CD8 completely read that wrong! Good luck with the OPKs and making the most of fw and 🤞 for this cycle for you. Yea I had such good intentions but I've been out shopping today and have already bought a FRER which I'm now contemplating using tomorrow morning 🙈

Welcome @MrsGS76 & @KeefBurtain sorry you both find yourselves here & im so sorry for your losses. My AF took 5 weeks after my D&C for my second mc at 12 weeks and 4 weeks for my earlier mc at 8 weeks- depends how high your hormones were when you mc I think.

@KnitKitty interesting about the symptoms pre BFP conversation. Before my pregnancies previously I definitely had symptoms from about 6-7dpo - the last pregnancy I really felt I knew I was pregnant before the test was strongly positive. Then again it might be because pre my last two pregnancies when I didn't get a BFP I was a lot more chilled/not really trying so it may be that I will think the same if I get a BFN now that I'm obsessing like a mad woman! Definitely feel like I'm setting myself up for disappointment this cycle if it's negative!

I’m testing again tomorrow. Convinced myself already that this will be another chemical - so pessimistic. If I get a darker, strong line tomorrow I’m honestly going to be surprised!! Fingers crossed though 🤞

@hayleyfx I really hope its a darker line. The chemical one I've had this time has convinced me to never test to early again (I know I'll do it anyway) its just so cruel isn't it. I'll keep my fx and tx crossed for you.

Just reading through these posts, @HidCat I’ve had my hair coloured too today. After nearly 12 weeks of thinking I was pregnant, I did not get my hair coloured so the grey really came through making me even more depressed! Now at least I feel a little bit more ‘human’ on the outside that is! Xx

Hello all, hope you don't mind a new joiner so far into the thread! We're TTC DC2, fell preggers in Jan but had an early scan (7wks+) that showed bean only 5wks. I knew it wasn't right. Anyway, confirmed it was lost at an NHS scan a week later. Booked in for a D&C at 9 or 10wks and they did a precautionary scan and found a heartbeat that time. I was completely shocked & devastated, having resigned myself to the loss. Anyway, was sent home to sit and wait and eventually passed the pregnancy at about 11wks.

But ... enough of that. We're trying again. I've had 2 cycles now since the loss in March and so far nothing. Fingers crossed for everybody.
