I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

I'm on CD13 today. Got an almost positive OPK so think it'll be positive tomorrow so will hopefully get a chance to DTD more over the next couple of days! Trying to keep positive about it all this month

So I cracked and took a test this morning... BFN. I'm not sad, as it has confirmed the late ovulation (or I'm just not pregnant..) and I'm clearly 8dpo.
I'm having on and off stabbing/achey pains in the right of my pelvis... Feels weird. At first I was panicking that I'm having yet another ectopic pregnancy 😔 but I'm trying to think of all the other things it could be... What else could it be?? Lol Trapped wind? Implantation? Period cramps on one side? The tww suckkksssss!

Can't blame you @Pudding01 - two week wait is beyond rubbish.

Speaking of - what are peoples views on drinking during the tww? Do you do it? For me it depends as I try to avoid it but if I have plans and fancy a few, I tend to go ahead and enjoy myself but I'm never sure if that's dreadful or if it means I'm self sabotaging for want of a better phrase. I've got another week at least left of waiting and going to a surprise 80th birthday party tomorrow which will be a big family affair so I think i'll be having a few

@MouseBatMummy I maybe different, but I do just live normally (but cautious) during it all, until I get my BFP. With my DD I didn't even know I was pregnant until 6 weeks and I'd had a big work night out & a weekend away the weeks before I knew x

I've decided not to avoid drinking during the tww. I drove myself mad with it ttc my son and then got pregnant over Christmas when I'd had a load 🙈

My bbt thermometer arrived today so at least I can start tracking that if it's a BFN this month.

Exactly the same as @Treaclepie19 - didn't drink in TWW to start with when TTC #1 but got fed up and drank loads over Christmas when I conceived!

Just drinking as normal now - not loads but if I want a glass of wine I have one. I've seen a lot 'drink til it's pink' (the pregnancy rest( and I think that's a good rule to live by

Definitely soda, I'm about 3dpo today and will be having a few drinks tonight and tomorrow because I have plans. That's probably it then until AF is due. Eep!

With my waking times al over the place bbt monitoring was no good for me, plus I always forgot found it too much of a chore last time and same this time, same with opks I never got a positive one last time around, was convinced I wasn't ovulating so I'm hoping to keep this trying as natural as possible, lots of dtd in the right time, see how that fairs until end of year after that I think I'll be a little desperate an shave no choice

I'm back from a lovely relaxing holiday. Got positive OPK on CD14 and DTD CD10,12,13,14,15! So hopefully that's us covered! Assuming I ovulated CD15 but I can't be bothered with temping any more. Plus it's ridiculously hot in London currently so not sure it'd work!

So 1dpo for me, trying to be positive about my chances.

I'm on cd20 of 24 and got nausea and a sore boob so I'm driving myself cuckoo.
Earlier today I was saying of course I won't be pregnant first try. 🙄 TTC sends me loopy.

Well, I'm currently CD32 & 11dpo. AF usually between CD28-32, but my ovulation was messy this cycle. Had a BFN yesterday. I'm literally crossing everything 🤞🏻🙏🏻 x

I'm 12dpo now. Think it's safe to say that I'm out.

I'm so sorry I really thought burning boobs were a great sign @Pudding01 though you're still not out until the witch shows! Could you have ovulated later than that??

@Pudding01, it's not over till Af shows. Like Angelmiracle said you could have ovulated late this cycle.
I'm currently on day 27 and still no positive opk, not even close so it looks like either no ovulation or its very late and af isn't due till well into August now

Thanks for your positivity @Angelmiracle & @Mammyofasuperbaby. I did it ovulate late this month, but I'm definitely 12dpo according to my chart. Just thought if FRER is 6 days early & I'm late, then it should pick up hormones by now 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know I'm not out until the witch arrives, but I'm losing hope for this very long cycle! X

The witch has arrived... I'm absolutely heartbroken 💔 Quite possibly the worst cycle I've had. And all the temping did was keep my hopes up with the high temps this morning 😔

Really sorry @Pudding01 - your chart looked great, I had high hopes for you! Do you usually temp? Perhaps the high temps could be partly down to the weather?

@Pudding01 Aw hun that's awful! You're not on your own we've all been there. Last month was my most crazy hormonal symptom spotting cycle and I was devastated when AF showed early and us heading to the airport. It was heartbreaking and such a painful crampy AF! Well look how this month turned out for me. Take time to rest and chill and treat yourself to a facial or alcohol 😉🍹🍸 But dust yourself off and get the positivity going for next month. Track to know ovulation and dtd at the key times and just leave it at that. I was very unhopeful from the word go. Good luck you will get that BFP ❤
