June bfps for mamas trying for dc#2

I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

I've had my cry and bought my next box of Ovulation tests. Gone for the advanced rather than the normal this time & I'm going to try pre-seed.
Was my first month temping, so I'd have to see something dramatically different for me to think anything of it, as I thought mine looked good 🤷🏼‍♀️
Well I've hopped on to the August bus now, here's to another month of lots of BD & poas 🥂 x

@pudding just know you are not alone it's so frustrating, I don't even know when I ovulate tbh sticks don't work on me, I'm sat in limbo almost all month just hoping and praying, I wish the journey was simpler even if it was confirmed to be later down the line it's just the uncertainty that slows eats away and the fear that what if it never happens for me :( I'm currently in that limbo period I guess I could be ovulating this week but will in all honesty have to sit tight until middle of August and see if AF shoes up or not...until then I try not to think about it and will ride highs whilst I hear everyone else's good news stories !

How's everyone doing? Any testers coming up?

I'm 4dpo so starting to get into crazy town....

Soda, when will you be testing? Felt a bit sick this morning because I had orange squash ....was completely put off during first pregnancy made me feel awful, then I reminded myself I don't even think I've ovulated yet! Totes driving myself crazy!

I'll be testing Friday unless AF comes before then (which I'm totally expecting)

AF is theoretically due between the 1st and 5th so I'll be testing next week but I'm not hopeful

I'll be testing shortly after you....also mixed emotions, I'm being made redundant and need to look for a new job don't know how I would feel about applying if I get pregnant - would I tell them? If I didn't would that be deceitful? I dunno just don't feel right about it but at the same time ds took 1.5 years to conceive and we been trying for almost 6 months and nothing so think we are just carrying on as normal and will see what happens

Hi all, just checking in. I'm sorry it wasn't your month @Pudding01 - but sounds like you are taking it in your stride, keep up the positivity! I have my fingers crossed for everyone still waiting.

My AF due today or tomorrow and I'm doing that thing where I know it's on it's way because I feel it, but trying to convince myself I'm not out yet...oh the mind games we play!

We have an appt on 6 August to start investigations for secondary infertility so I'm looking ahead to that now. Maybe we'll get some answers as to why it's not happening life us, maybe not. Good luck all.

I'm cd10 now (and only just stopped bleeding, urgh!) so gearing up for my fw. Thinking we'll do the every second day approach this month but as we're staying with friends and family with dd in the room it might be a bit tricky! I'm not going to temp either, just go with the flow while we're on holiday and hope for the best.

@MouseBatMummy you never know - I was so convinced AF was on its way when I was pregnant with DC that I bought a load of tampons!

@LethargicButAwesome I'll probably test around 12dpo when I figure it'll probably be accurate.

I'm 6dpo now so a little while to go yet!

I'm due slohjtly after you, although tbh I'm not even sure if I'm ovulating, I'm still breast feeding - trying to wean dc completely but he's having none of it, doesn't settle and still wakes up during the night a lot, don't know if anyone is in a similar position but do you actuallly ovulate when you are bf? Opks have never worked for me but I am having regular cycles....driving myself crazy as I just don't know....

I knew it really, so I'm having a day of feeling sorry for myself, then tomorrow I'll pull up my big girl pants and get on with it.

This has been an odd cycle. I have had tons of EWCM early on, and a positive OPK at CD11. We've been trying SMEP again this month, thankfully, so should have timed it right. We've been staying with family in a loft room in this heat, and have had to DTD each evening with the early ovulation.. I had it planned so we'd only need to do so one of the three nights, but hey ho!

I've also had a positive OPK for more than 24 hours, which is rather odd for me. I hope my body isn't getting rid of ALL my eggs in one go

Did you have chemical last month @mayago? It can sometimes take a bit of time for your body to get back into a normal pattern again. Hope you caught the egg this month!

That's what I was expecting @sodababy2 Last month I don't think I ovulated. The chemical was the month prior!

We're staying with family and should probably be dtd but I'm not temping and feeling relaxed so not sure we'll try very hard this month. I was hoping last night we would but 'd'h stayed up until 3am drinking with his brother.. and dd is in the room with us! Tricky. Maybe tonight, im on cd15 and don't think I've ovulated yet so might just make it.

Does anyone else have bfp dreams? I had another one last night, i think my mind is punking me..

@catren, yes totally have lots of bfp dreams all the time, although weirdly last night I had a dream I find an afandoned baby and begin to raise her as she was from an abusive family vivid/weird dream much????? I also think however I've watched too much of 'this is us' on channel 4!

Having a weird week ATM. Boobs are bigger and tender, lower back ache, headaches, mild cramp around my c section scar, peeing for England,got teary eyed in Primark when we saw tiny batman shoes and dp wanted to get them for possible future DC and I am so tired but can't sleep and a bit nausus (had to do breathing exercises on the bus). Not due to test till at least the first and I'm not hopeful. I think it might be pms( I don't usually get any symptoms but sometimes I do)

I got a super faint positive on Friday morning when af was due. Had some pink spotting Thursday night.
Had a tiny bit of brown spotting yesterday but my line is much darker today.
This one is going to be a monkey I can tell.

@mammy hold on in there, we drive our self crazy during the tww, I think everyone does-try distracting yourself remember soon enough you will know either way.
