I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

@mousebat welcome - hopefully things will get better now, I'm currently support my sister through the tww, she's been trying for three years

@LethargicButAwesome Sperm Meets Egg Plan. Start dtd cd8 every other day so 8 10 12 14 etc. The day you get positive/peak opk dtd 3 days in a row then skip a day and dtd one last time!!

@CatRen27 I would think a chemical would have been giving you negatives by now, so fingers crossed it is just late implantation. Am I right in thinking spotting is okay, but if it's bright red then that's not a good sign?

Welcome @MouseBatMummy A lot of what you've written rings true for me as well. I think we will have to see the GP if we don't fall pregnant in the next few cycles. We haven't been trying as long as you have, but I'm also older and those eggs apparently don't keep forever

@LethargicButAwesome FSH test was thankfully negative today. I think it was a tad silly, as my cycles are regular still, but a slight weight off I suppose. It works like an OPK, and if there are two lines it is negative unless they are the same intensity. I had a faint second line, so not reading much into that.

I know it's only 7dpo, but seeing that temp continue to rise is really giving me hope 🙏🏻 I could just be being a desperate fool though 😅
For those of you charting, how many days past ovulation did your temps stay high for?

Sorry about af arriving :( onwards to next month I have long cycles so although af started almost 1.5 weeks ago, we will probably be in the tww together next month. Going away in August so hopefully that will take my mind of things, delayed booking zip wire course in case I was preggers, oh well

I've had a much darker line on a cheapie this morning. I also went to see the GP yesterday afternoon, and he has referred me to the midwife service.

@BadBadBeans I'm really trying to wait until the weekend, when I'll be 10/11dpo. But I'm getting reallyyyy impatient with this cycle 🙈 if I had ovulated properly the first tome, I'd had know by now lol x

@BadBadBeans that's great news. How far on are you? I am going to the GP tomorrow if I can get an appointment in the morning mainly as I take other medication I prob need stop x

@Angelmiracle I'm 4+4 now. I'm glad I saw the GP; the receptionist thought I ought to wait until 7 weeks to come in, but then I mentioned my recent miscarriage and she changed her mind. I feel much better knowing that I've been referred to the midwife service and that it's all 'official'. Good luck with your appointment! How far are you?

@pudding, hold on in there chic weekend is almost here !! There has been no dtd as Bubba and I have been sick ... but not due to ovulate until next weekend so hopefully will be all well by then.

Thank you ladies 💕 It's been a bit of a rollercoaster month. I'll be very disheartened if I didn't conceive after it all... But I'll be glad to see the back of this cycle if AF does come in the next few days!
@Treaclepie19 I'd love it if it was a triphasic. But I do think it was just a late ovulation. If I thought there was a chance I could get a BFP 8dpo, I'd totally be poas before I got to work tomorrow 🙈😆 x

How long are your cycles normally?
I so have my fingers crossed for you!

They've not been the same since my DD, but usually 28-32 days. Today is CD28, So I am in the days where I'm holding my breath in anticipation 😂 Aww, thanks lovely. Lucky number 10 (10th cycle) 🙌🏻 x

@BadBadBeans that's great I'm glad your appointment went well. I think I want to go too and confirm all with GP! Thankfully our receptionists don't ask what your reason is for your appointment!

I'm 4+3 purely based on LMP but all those calculators are working out different EDDs if I put in cycle length etc. I ovulated late at cd21 and only 11dpo!!

@Angelmiracle you don't have to give a reason why you're making an appointment at my surgery, but they prefer it as it helps them to sort out urgent from non-urgent. I did apologise to the GP when I arrived as I felt I should maybe have waited a couple more weeks, but he was totally fine with it. I guess it doesn't really make any difference to him whether he sees me earlier or later! Ooo yes that's weird isn't it about ovulation dates? So we are two days apart based on LMP, but 7 days apart based on ovulation date. No wonder people get their EDD changed so frequently when they go for scans!
