[... Insert jazzier title here!]

The bus is still running, we're sick of bastard bfns, and crossing fingers (and some) for Feb 2019 babies. Come join!

I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

Hi everyone. Sorry to see a few familiar names on here still.

So...
Age 37 (last week) 😩
DD is 10 (where did that go)
Cycle #9

Hoping this is our month after MC in Feb at 10+4 weeks, carried on for another 4 weeks and finally got a positive(ish) OPK last month.

Just got a positive(ish) OPK today so currently lay in bed with a pillow under my butt as I'm typing (tmi😂, we've all done it). My opk results have never been as dark or darker than the control line so as soon as they start to go darker then we start bd'ing at that point.

I'm thinking of trying the pineapple this month, at what point do I start with it? Also, trying SMEP this month too.

Hi everyone. The fertile window is soon approaching for me... According to a calculator it's Friday - Wednesday, although I have bought the clearblue ovulation tests to know for sure. Bit nervous! This will be month 9!
But I go on holiday on Monday so I'm hoping my mind goes off tracking and the romance comes back in 😉😂 x

Today is 11dpo (I think - EWCM and ovulation pain)

I did a cheapie test this morning and it was invalid, no control line or test line came up. Angry

I know it's early but I've been symptom spotting and driving myself crazy...

My boobs are are so sore and have been so for days.

I felt so nauseous yesterday and couldn't keep my eyes open all day. But I could of had too much sun on Saturday.

And I keep getting slight crappy/aching feeling in my lower abdomen. This has been going on my the last 3 days, almost like AF might start but then nothing. I never get period cramps until AF actually starts.

But it all could be in my head....

HidCat · 29/05/2018 11:26

@Funkyemzie hello again! Hope you're keeping well. The Mexican was nice but not exceptional. Will probably do it again but tweak it slightly.

@Redcup here's hoping it's early pg symptoms and not AF. Do you have any more tests for tomorrow?

Delilah7 · 29/05/2018 11:34

Sorry to intrude but @Redcup I'm 12DPO and I have all of those symptoms but my pregnancy test came up negative :( yet I'm convinced hahaha. Or just obsessed xx

Hi, would love to join you

Age: 42
Dd: 13 months
Cycle: #2

I'm still breastfeeding and 1.5 stone overweight, but time isn't on our side, so we started trying when dd turned 1.
AF returned in December and definitely ovulating so fingers crossed. Due to poas at the weekend.
Good luck to all of you.

@Funkyemzie really hope you get a bfp this month, I lost a close relative last month and been eating in the eve ever since, really trying to get myself back together! Maybe sw might be a good idea as you can follow that through pregnancy?

Hey! Just poking my nose in!
I came off the pill nearly three weeks ago (Friday). I came off after four days into new pack so had two withdrawal bleeds within a couple of weeks, was not fun!
DC #1 is 21 months and currently running mad around my living room!
Not really doing anything other than dtd as often as possible, OH works nights so it can be difficult.
Not sure when I'm due as I have heard it can take a while to regulate, but if nothing has arrived in about ten days I might get a cheapy to check and go from there!

Redcup · 30/05/2018 08:28

@HidCat I have one test left so I'm going to do it in the morning. I have some more cheapies coming in the post tomorrow.

I got on holiday (glamping) Friday for a long weekend and AF is due Saturday.

@Delilah7, the symptoms spotting can drive you crazy! 12dpo is still early to test, I have my fingers crossed for you.

@Redcup I've had the implant but it expired Dec haven't had it removed yet but lately they've been going back to normal but it could still be irregular I'm not sure how long it takes for the hormones to settle after it runs out

Can't lie ladies I'm symptom spotting already!!! Got a headache today and super tired, dtd Friday last week.... too soon to be having any symptoms??

BadBadBeans · 30/05/2018 21:04

@tinatsarina I think I would test every few days just to have an idea of what is going on!

I've been reading up a bit on ttc after pregnancy loss and I hadn't quite realised that my cycles could be thrown out by weeks. I'm 'due' AF on Monday but I am preparing myself for no AF and no BFP either. Going to keep dtd fairly regularly to try to cover a potential very delayed ovulation. I've given up on opks though - might go back to them once I've had another period and I have an idea what my cycle length might be.

Got news today that a friend of mine has just started miscarrying at a very similar stage to me. So sad. I'm glad I was able to help her though, and that I had shared my own so that she knew to contact me.

@BadBadBeans I'm sorry to hear about your loss and your friends but it was nice that you were able to support her through it.

Hi everyone, wishing for bfps for you all this June

I'm 26
TTC #2, DD is 1
Cycle 1 but off the pill since Feb, had to wait til now to try
AF due on 20/06, I want to hold off testing until AF arrives. Would love to be able to surprise DH on his bday in early July.

Have been very tired lately so getting as much intimate time with DH, I would love to just enjoy having fun with him and if we are lucky that's good. Really wanting another baby soon...it'll only be our first cycle trying but I am already hoping so much.

Will try and use opks, last month I gave it a practice and pinpointed the peak exactly.
Are you supposed to DTD as soon as you have the peak or before?

ladybug92 · 30/05/2018 22:17

Oo tinatsarina test! Fingers crossed for you.

Badbad That's so sad, but also pleased you could help your friend through a tough time.

Ladybug the opk positive result tells you when you're about to ovulate (12-36 hours) so definitely dtd now and the next couple of days but its good to get in a few times before you peak just in case.

..
Sorry I've been a bit silent, not much to share as i gear up for ovulation. Welcome to newcomers, hope we have a lucky thread this month!

I went to see the counsellor at the ivf clinic today and she really really helped me. I need to be taking control of my outlook and not let the ttc stress seep into all aspects of life. So I'll be doing that as best I can and if its meant to be it will be. Otherwise a little family of three with our awesome dd will be enough.

We're going away this weekend (with dd) and hope the change will spice things up during my fw. I'm temping off and on but know i haven't ovulated yet, just dtd loads and crossing fingers!

Thanks for the tip @CatRen27
I think what you're saying makes a lot of sense. It's hard to sometimes pause from the focus of what we want and focus on what we have.

Hope you have a lovely and relaxing weekend and a lucky fw.
