June bfps for mamas trying for dc#2

I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

Hi, just about still lurking - I first posted last month but got bfp and sloped off mn for a bit. 8dpo today, been calmer this cycle. Boobs killing me today, hard not to get hopes up even though they often hurt just before af every month. Trying to fight urge to pointlessly poas.

I will be 5dpo in 5 mins lol. Feel very neutral lol. The usual heavy boobs and bloating- the normal pms really. I was saying on the smep thread I just don't feel this is the lucky month!

Can your gut really tell you that you are or aren't?? Even before poas urges!

@Angelmiracle I'm currently ok thanks, been unusually chill about it this month, but boob ache today reminded me then I spent an hour pouring over fertility friend stats. Ugh, hate that this makes me go a bit crazy!
Some people seem to get a feeling and can guess accurately. My experience from ttc no.1 tells me my gut feelings and symptom spotting are dreadful!

@SplishSplashy glad you're feeling chill! Well that's good to hear lol! I should heed my own experience of DS too - we only dtd once and I had dumped all opks and hpts- a lot of other traumatic stress at the time so I feel like I was distracted from how my body was acting. Didn't twig til 8 weeks on!

Well I've had crazy vivid dreams for the last three nights in a row which were a symptom with my last two pregnancies. DS just woke me up because he couldn't find his cuddly toy in bed so I found it for him and sang him back to sleep. Got back into bed and I could not sleep myself. I really needed a wee and I'm now 11dpo so it seemed a shame to waste a 5-hour hold. So got up and as quietly as I could peed in a cup and found a pregnancy test in the bathroom cabinet (rustle, rustle). I do not dare to switch the light on because it's a noisy pull cord one and likely to wake the whole house up. But by the light of my mobile phone I see two lines...

I've crept into a different room with a less noisy light. It is definitely a BFP. Oh my life! Let's see if it sticks...

I'm struggling to get a photo that's not thrown into shadow by my phone, but the line is definitely pink and it came up far faster than with my last pregnancy. Although I am using a different brand of test. Damn it, how am I going to get back to sleep now?!

Thanks guys. Feels a bit weird to be honest. Last pregnancy I was so excited I was shaking at the positive test. This time I am obviously more cautious. I did another test this morning though and that was positive too. I also told DH in a very nonchalant way and he was similarly nonchalant back 😂

Pudding I don't know how to read those charts so am of no use, but fingers crossed you have ovulated!

thanks so much @angel! I've never had even the faintest anything on a frer.. it has dried pink and everything. I know I should be wary given last month but I'm a bit beside myself..

@CatRen27 arrrgggghhh I see it too!!!! Yay! Oh I so hope we can end up on a March antenatal club together!!!! Yep I tested again first thing and got a slightly stronger line.

@Angelmiracle when I had a crazy dream a couple of nights ago I did wonder, but thought it was too early. But when I woke up at 2am today having had an incredibly detailed dream in which I was eating pork (I'm vegetarian and have been for 21 years) I thought maybe I should take a test!

Here they are in the cold light of day. This is the same batch that gave me snow white BFNs last month when my period was late.

Ive also been having vivid dreams, about all my teeth falling out, and meeting Meghan Markle.. So random.

Delighted for both of you!! I'd love to get my BFP as EDD would be 2 days before my birthday.

I'm only 5dpo but 3 nights in a row super vivid dreams. Tues night I dreamt I went to A&E and asked if they would do an internal ultrasound so I didn't have to wait to poas 🤣 I was just putting it down to the weather. Hope it's a good omen 🤞
