June bfps for mamas trying for dc#2

The bus is still running, we're sick of bastard bfns, and crossing fingers (and some) for Feb 2019 babies. Come join!

I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

@CatRen27 do you have another FRER to use in the morning? I have 12 ic tests and one supermarket pink dye. I'm now trying to work out how often I am going to test over the next little while... My sensible head says test every two days to observe HCG doubling. My obsessive heart says once a day, AT LEAST.

Did you have vivid dreams with your DD? It was a really strong symptom of mine for both pregnancies, and yet when I mentioned it at the EPAU last time when the midwife was asking about my symptoms, she looked slightly askance and didn't write it down on my notes!

Soberingly, I've just counted back to the first day of my last period and I'm only 3+5. Assuming all is well, the next 8 or 9 weeks are going to seriously drag.

@Angelmiracle fingers crossed for you and your crazy dreams! Ah it would be lovely to share a birthday wouldn't it? My DH was born on both his grandma's and his grandpa's birthdays - I love that!

Hey @badbad yep I've got one more, and 10 ICs left, but will stop by the chemist on the walk home from dropping dd at nursery for another 3 pack of frers. Then continue packing for our trip to uk in the evening.. nothing like a long haul flight with a 3yo to distract you from stick gazing! Looking forward to seeing some of this hot weather you're all talking about 😊 And I definitely had crazy dreams during my pregnancy so it's totally a thing!

I have no idea @Angelmiracle, the two positive opks have thrown me a right curve ball this month! Cramping was horrendous with them too, felt like AF x

@Pudding01 people sometimes ovulate twice in a cycle don't they? Maybe your body is giving you two shots this month!

@Badbad, so it's night time here now, I'll poas in the morning. But might also do one on the plane just for kicks as it'll be a long 24 hours without poas otherwise! Never poas at 30k feet before.. (although am part of the mile high club 🤓🙈 so this might be the logical course to take)

@BadBadBeans twins a week apart? 😳 Could you imagine!! Haha no, knowing my luck, I'd have ovulated twice from the ovary with no tube 😭😂 x

Looks like my fertile window is coming earlier that expected this month yey!!! (Cycles settling down hopefully)
Although I've had a weird large lump of clear jelly when I wiped. Anyone else had this before and know what it is. Sorry for the tmi

@Mammyofasuperbaby Glad to hear it! Don't know about the jelly I'm afraid. I got something similar the night before I got my first period post-mc and it really freaked me out! Put it down to one of those things...

Really hoping I can also invoke law of IVF sod @CatRen27! The clinic are advising that I do fresh cycle - but that's because they do 'mild' IVF so rare to get OHS and unlikely for me as I don't have loads of eggs in the first place!

It's been a quiet day today (no obsessivesymptom spotting as yet) but 6dpo tomorrow DS has cousin's birthday party and I've offered to cook food for it so that'll get the day in! Be good to have the fwot (first week of torture) over

@Angel you're certainly right on the FWOT front.. cooking all day should do the trick!

I've poas this morning with fmu and pretty sure i don't see anything. Certainly not like last night. I'll try again later on the plane (!) and see where we get to.. lol

Hi angel waves I'm ok thanks. Not going to test until Tuesday until I'm definitely last after last month's chemical. I have a wedding this weekend which is taking my mind off things. Have some cramps which probably is AF flow arriving. Fwot sounds about right!!

Sorry to hear that mayago. But you're not out until AF arrives!

@mayago sorry to hear about the BFN. With DS I tested two days before my period was due and got nothing coming up in the timeframe! (I went back through the bin and looked two days later and actually there was a v v v v v faint blue line by then, but it was one of those ClearBlue cross dodgy tests so that could have been nothing). You're not out till you're out!

I'm not very hopeful, I've just had some brown spotting which happened around the same time as last month (chemical) so might take a rest from testing and see what happens. I'm due af on Monday. My boobs are really sore which is the only thing making me wonder if I'm still in. Time will tell!

Flight has been ok so far, we're in Singapore now and its 2am our time and dd has had approx 3 hours sleep.. currently charging around squealing with dh.. 🙉🙈

Sorry for the bfn @mayago How many dpo are you? I think you mentioned you ovulated late this month didn't you? So AF will be late - hopefully you're still in with a chance.

CD7 today for me and off on holiday for a week to Spain tomorrow. Looking forward to relaxing and maybe that'll do the trick, you never know!

I've become a poas addict. Just done another and it does show a lot of progression from this morning. Is that normal? It's not a sign of ectopic is it?

That looks like great progression @BadBadBeans! I'd take it as a very good sign!
