I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

haha @Angelmiracle! I missed the surge (or it didn't happen) with CB OPKs this cycle. I hope you have more luck!

Is there something in the air with quiet/late ovulation this month ladies??

@mayago There has to be! Common denominator the heat?? I have noticed ladies in other threads with same issue. Hoping we're covered by doing smep but somehow feel out and the tww hasn't even begun 😧

Ohhh, I stupidly assumed I'd ovulate early as per usual cycles but maybe it was late hence my cramping today! The heat is sending everything crazy! X

I tested 9pm 3hr hold - cd20....tada...🤗
Dtd last night and tonight. Do we keep going to Monday?? 😁

I'm now 6dpo so not long until test day. Had a huge temp dip yesterday which is unusual and back up to normal today, so I'm telling myself it's definitely implantation. 😉 ohhh the mind games..

Hey ladies. So I'm now in my TWW! Can't decide how many DPO I am though 🙈 Could be 4, could be 2..
SMEP didn't really happen as DH felt too much under pressure. But hoping we BD enough to cover it!

@Pudding01 I'd say you'll be covered. When I conceived with my son I was gutted we'd missed the peak and only managed a couple of days before.

AF arrived right on time. I'm ok. To be honest, I'm sort of just biding my time waiting to get to IVF now.

Had very very intense ovary pain yesterday afternoon dtd last night that's 3 in a row following smep. Will see how we feel about dtd Monday. Tww be quick and easy please 🤤🤤🤤🤞

Sorry to hear it @soda and @lethargic, that's shitty news. Soda what are your ivf plans? Do you have a sense of what the next steps are? I really hope having a plan can focus your attention. I'm sorry I can't remember - have your tests all come back fine for you and dp? I really hope you have better luck soon.

No news here, I'm 8dpo so think I'll test tomorrow morning to start the process of obsessively staring at tiny strips of cardboard... lol

@CatRen27 well as we are ovulation buddies I am also 8dpo and starting to think about testing... I'm going to attempt to hold off as long as I can!

Super hot isn't it? We had my son's birthday party this weekend which was lovely but so hard to keep the kids cool! Ended up just putting out a paddling pool in the shade and let them all go wild. SIL came with her lovely 7 months pregnant bump. Did experience a few twinges of sadness for myself and my non 5 month bump, but I was mostly able to just enjoy seeing her. Phew.

What ovulation tests is everyone using? My cycle is so messed up and never the same so haven't been using anything really , wondering if anyone experiences random cycles and and what they use?

@LathargicButAwesome, It's very frustrating having random cycles isn't it. Mine range from 28 days to 70+ days.

I use one-step opks from Amazon to track my cycle and they are pretty good.

I've made a pledge not to test until day after period is due due to disappointment last time. The only reason I'll know I'll do it is that I'll be out the country and nowhere near a ship to buy a test!!

@LethargicButAwesome I start off with the amazon cheapies One Step then 5 days approaching suspected ovulation (a month using the cheap opks will give you an idea when this is) I use CB advanced opks. When you get the peak fertility static smiley on these then there's no need to test the remainder of your cycle. I order box of 20 from Dr Fertility with some Preseed.
