I'm 35 yo
DD is 3yo
Cycle 25 (urgh!!)
Af/bfp due 18th June

After a few months charting and opk-ing, I've decided to chuck it all out and try and dtd every other day. Eek. Only two more cycles until we start ivf in August so crossing fingers we can get a natural bfp before then. Here's hoping!

I caved and tested today, AF due Monday, but only ovulated last Thurs/Fri, so probably way too early at 8dpo. Just really tired now after 9 months of hoping x

Also I've been having some af-type cramps on and off today which is really odd at only 3dpo, pretty sure it's too early for implantation or af! Any thoughts/ideas?! Focused mainly on the left side above pubic bone.

@Angelmiracle sorry AF arrived but I hope you have a fab holiday regardless.

Murphy-I had this the day after ovulating and have had really bad cramps from 6 DPO until 11DPO. However I've only just come off contraception so maybe it's.cycles regulating. Fingers crossed for you though!x

Thanks for the sympathy guys. I'm honestly quite happy that AF is here though. Now I feel like everything is reset and I can get ready to go again. I was going mad with the seemingly interminable waiting! Feeling a leeeeeeetle bit sad that I'm not looking at having a winter baby if I get pregnant in the next few months... The one I lost would have been a November baby. I am a winter baby myself and I liked the idea of snuggling a newborn on a cold dark night!

@Pudding01 It must be hard trying for more than a handful of months. I haven't had that experience yet so can only imagine. Hugs to you.

@pudding01 there’s still time especially as you only ovulated just over a week ago 🤞 for you as well, it must be so hard trying for a while and not getting a bfp, be kind to yourself, you’ve done it before

I’m on day 21 of my usually 28 day cycle. I’m getting some cramps and some more creamy CM. I’m really trying not to allow myself to think this could be our month for a BFP but my mind does wonder. I just don’t like setting myself up for heartache. It would be tough with my hubby’s sperm count but not impossible 🤞🤞🤞

Murphy I have had a really crampy month; from about 3dpo as well here every couple of days like very mild ovulation cramping. No idea what it is, as I've not been on hormonal contraception for years, and have very regular cycles.

Commiserations Angelmiracle, but have a great holiday! Last month AF came for me as I was dipping the pee stick

I tested early today at 8dpo because I thought a positive would be a great Father's Day surprise. Sooooo stupid. There's a smidge of a line if you hold the IC the right was, so I used a FRER, both with FMU. Again, smidge of a line so I took it apart to see if there was an indent. Spent most of the day looking at the damn thing as when it dried the second line was looking rather pink. Then thought if I were offering advice to anyone else it would be to test again in a few days, so that's what I'll have to do! Af due Tuesday, so at least I don't have a long wait..

Sounds possibly exciting @mayago, hopefully a proper bfp in the next few days! 8dpo would be early but not impossible.

Also @mayago if you're trying to see a stronger line I found that if I discarded fmu but then poas another hour or so later without drinking anything the line was much darker. Might be worth a try?!

So Af is due tomorrow and I’ve not had any brown spotting like I’ve had the day before or starts in the past. This isn’t something I should get overly excited about as it has happened where I’ve had the spotting say the morning af is due, then it starts later.

I’m going to POAS with FMU tomorrow morning anyway, as I’d rather know so I can mentally prepare for af rather than waiting all day for it to come. I wanted to get a FRER but accidentally bought a FR rapid result instead. Has anyone used these? I’m worried it won’t be sensitive enough for the day AF is due...

Firstly i know how fortunate i am and that there are so many women out there who have a far more difficult time of it but if i can be selfish for a moment...

My husband amd i are on month 15 of ttc baby no2. It's just not happening and every month my body is trolling me into thinking that its not pms symptoms, its different, however every month I'm wrong. This month for example I'm approximately 5 days from the monthly visitor but my boobs have been sore for a couple of days already and i have what feels like constant ovulation pain/light cramping and today i have lower back discomfort. I dont normally get this all at once, maybe just sore boobs or lower back pain. I know my body is being a massive s**tbag.
We already have a daughter so im eternally grateful for her but i still long for another to complete our family. I'm not quite sure what we have to do to get the positive result.

@Thissucks1 it's horrible when symptoms overlap and give you false hope. Having said that you're still in for this month so try to keep the faith. Have you been able to get any tests done to see whether there is a secondary infertility issue that needs to be sorted?

@Thissucks1 moan away thats what we're here for!! That's everyone's response - you're lucky to have DS....It's still the same frustration and heartbreak ttc and af appearing month after month. It took 18 months to conceive him and it feels the same pain especially as you want to give them a sibling!

My body does the same - tricks me into feeling different and I think this is it we've done it 😩 I came on yesterday it started very different from any month to date I kept hanging on oh maybe Ive only implanted now. Gp confirmed I ovulated this month. Id HSG in May. We dtd thoroughly. We've both lost weight and taking vitamins...all my energy was in this month but the witch came and drained every bit if me with her.

Good luck I truly hope we get our no.2 babies 😘

Its very strange but dispite knowing there are millions of ladies in the same position, you still feel very much like nobody knows how it feels.

@HidCat - no i haven't, if I'm honest, I'm afraid to know if there is any issues. DH is too laid back also, he just says, it'll happen if/when.

@Angelmiracle - i can't see it, my body is a professional troll! I'll just wait patiently for the normal disappointment.

I hooe someone has a BFP soon, bit of happiness would be great to see.

@Thissucks1 sorry to hear how frustrating it's been. It sucks and nothing can quite make it alright and it's impossible to get out if your mind. After 15m I hope a GP would refer you for some tests. Perhaps there's something you could take to help things?

One day before AF arrives for me. Tested today on a cheapie and bfn. Bummed.
I guess just wait til tomorrow and see what happens. I keep on thinking I am feeling cramping and willing it to go away but what's done is done already now.
