TTC First Baby! Anyone else?!

Hi Ladies.

Anyone else on their first cycle and TTCing?! I'm seeing all these beautiful posts about ladies getting pregnant and how they have bonded with people on here soooo, thought I'd make one at the start on my journey!

Hope you're all well - Thought I'd update you guys. So I'm on my 3rd cycle and I know they say it can take 3 months before your pill is out so I'm HOPING this month can do something. I noticed in my knickers some white ish discharge last night so we DTD yesterday, hoping I get ( TMI) that slimy clear stuff soon so I know I'm defo near ovulation. Says it should be Wednesday so I'll just try do it most days this week! Really hoping we fall pregnant soon. X

I’m 4 DPO and already can’t handle the wait. Lots of bright white CM that I haven’t noticed so much before, and an increased libido! But I’m well aware it’s far too early for any kind of symptom so just got to wait. AF due 21st/22nd so cant test until next week. Come on clock 😂. Well done @mrsa89 on your first +ve OPK! Happy DTD’ing 😬

@Delilah7 I'm sorry I haven't messaged you in a while, tried to stay off groups for this cycle and not to stress.... (So much easier said than done 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️) I know you liked my 'positivity' 😂..... You've got this chick, like you said this is your month along with all you other lovely ladies... You are all strong and amazing!!! Please keep me updated on how your all doing!

Something worked this cycle as I got my BFP last week! 😁 The only thing that I could pinpoint was different, was that I got a positive OPK earlier last month and we used 'Concieve Plus Lube' for the first time! I did use to struggle with getting fertile CM... so maybe that did the trick... who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi, I’m ttc my first, come off the pill in May which I’ve been on for 2 years (sorry ahead for tmi) come off the pill on 5th of May, 11th-13th May had a little bit of bleeding, then on the 22nd-27th of May had what I thought was my first period, then again on the 9th-13th if June had another period! Been waiting for my period this month and still hasn’t come around so been over a month without a period, did 2 tests and both come back negative. But I had nausea for 5 days in a row along with other possible symptoms. Anyone one have any idea of what to do, I’ve just kept telling myself to wait and see what happens but it feels like forever!

Not sure if you was asking me or not 😂, I’ve been off the pill for over 3 months now and been ttc for the 3 months x

I ordered a fertility thermometer last week which came yesterday, which was also the last day of my period, so hopefully this will help me track my ovulation. Trying to do it same time everyday will be hard though as I'm up so early during the week for work!
Anyone else temping and not doing it same time on a weekend??

@Delilah7 We caught on our 3rd month, which is obviously very lucky as I know it can take all different lengths of time! God knows if it was the lube but it deffo seemed to help.... plus I laid with my legs elevated on my phone for a good 10 mins after haha! Again that method isn't proven but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️🙊 xx

@SunshineAndRainbows6 I'm third cycle this month but haven't got any of that lube :( had ovulation pains last night so DTD yesterday, going to today and probably for the next few days. Can't get that lube that quick! :( xx

@Delilah7 I got mine off Amazon delivered the next day with 'Prime'... you need to think positive missy! You might not even need it, you sound like your doing everything right, so just DTD when you can and see what happens 👌🏻🤞🏻x

@SunshineAndRainbows6 ok, so this is going to sound gross... but you say you lay there legs elevated for 10 mins... didn't you, erm, leak?! Haha and how the heck did you get to said elevated position without 'leaking'?! (Told you it was gross, but something I struggle with) (maybe my pelvic floor isn't that great!)

@SunshineAndRainbows6 I'm an over thinker, badly. Just want to do everything I can but I know my other half will get very turned off if I'm peeing on OPKS and calculating stuff at the moment. Won't feel sexy for him.... he knows when I do stuff too honestly I can hide to the best of my ability. Doesn't work 😂😂 x

@MrsSquidler Hahahaha! Don't panic I'm not someone who gets grossed out easily lol.... yeah so basically when he'd finished, he grabbed my legs and shoved a wad of pillows under my butt until I was high... then I would just sit really still with my legs like a frog hahaha! Yeah....so as soon as it started to 'come out' I used to go to the loo to freshen up! Hope that made sense 🤔😂🤦🏻‍♀️👏🏻 X

@Delilah7 Honestlty I'm guilty too as I used to overthink everything... I still do that now preganant 😂👏🏻 Even the slightest thing panics me or makes me expect the worst 🤦🏻‍♀️ X

anyone else feel they wish they had a baby more than normal because someone is close to dying in their family... my grandad is such a big part of my life and he won't be here next year, we are all

@RobynC19 getting married - woo hoo! I hope the stresses of ttc and weddings a aren't feeding into each other.

@MrsSquidler I wake up at between 3 and 5 every morning (small bladder) so I measure then. You've got a 2 hour window though. What's the time difference between getting up on the weekend and in the week?

@SunshineAndRainbows6 I love that your OH gets you up on pillows afterwards. That's brilliant! 😂 @MrsSquidler I had the same worry so - TMI alert - I make sure I'm on my back with my legs up before DH it's allowed to disengage!

@Delilah7, I really feel for you honey. I've felt like that before. Now I'm just sad that those people won't meet my baby when I do. Hugs.

@SJP05 don't apologise - I wish I could help. Have you seen your doctor since AF started?

@ChaosMoon well on a weekday I'm up at 4:30/5:00 ish. Weekend is more like 7/8 ish.
