Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

Hi all,
Age 34
TTC #1
Cycle #4
CD #4

I have short cycles (av is 24) so AF is due 27th May. Feeling disheartened after lots of unusual symptoms last cycle then AF came 😞. Also OH talking about what he’s going to teach them in the future etc tonight, so feeling a little inadequate to boot 😫 stocked up on more vitamins, sticks etc so let’s do this! Onwards and upwards girls! πŸ’ͺ

mostimproved · 07/05/2018 11:56

It took me a while to figure out what this bus thing meant but hopefully I’ve got on the right one!

Age: 27
TTC #2
Cycle: first cycle properly trying but tracked temp and used opks last cycle when I came off Cerazette. Had signs of ovulation and positive opks around CD14/15 last time.
Usual cycle length: Last one was 28 days.
AF/BFP due 31st May/1st June

My first baby was a surprise whilst on the pill 7 years ago, so this ttc business is all new to me and DP. I have an under active thyroid which may affect my ability to conceive, so trying not to get my hopes up too much!

Verysmallcat · 07/05/2018 13:54

Does anyone use fertility lubricant? Is it actually worth it? Just had a look on Amazon and the tubes look small and expensive!

sailorcherrie · 07/05/2018 14:19

@Verysmallcat I've seen the conceive+ one on amazon...

Thinking about seeing how this cycle goes with ovulation tests and temping again and think about trying some next cycle.

MrsMDD · 07/05/2018 19:15

Long time lurker here. Think I will hop on the June bus. Came off the pill 2 months ago mid cycle so last AF arrived April 12th. First month actively trying but did early FRER yesterday and it was negative AF due Thursday and have all the signs of it appearing :( last DS was conceived first go nearly 8 years ago.

Reserving a seat as DH and I completely missed ovulation this month due to a girly city break that had been booked since last year!

AF due next week some time. Usually around 32-34 days. Got a solid smiley face early this month though so expecting a shorter cycle. So now have no idea when AF/BFP is due in June Hmm!!

Can anyone give some tips of what they are doing to help conceive? Are your dh/dp's doing anything yet or just going with the flow?

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 08/05/2018 18:35

Hi ladies,

Might as well jump on the June bus as AF showed her ugly face today! Currently drowning my sorrows over a kebab πŸ˜πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚

Now time to read through the previous posts and get to know you all 😁

KnitKitty · 08/05/2018 20:58

Wow, there are a lot of us due AF around the same time!

I'm not sure how my cycles are going to be post MC so I'm not going to be getting my hopes up too early.

I tested on CD 39 back in Feb when I got my BFP, 8DaysAWeek, mostly due to the fact I thought I'd had a period (was heavy implantation bleeding/early pregnancy bleeding). This time round I can't see testing too early. I really want to get pregnant, but I'm also really scared to after losing the first one so ignorance seems like bliss and I don't want to test too early. I'm not sure on my cycle lengths and I also don't want to get my hopes up before knowing I'm very likely late.

Personally not using OPKs or temping as I feel this would stress me out and make me over-think and obsess about TTC. Anyone joining me on the not testing?

My fertile week will most likely be the 16th-23rd. Not sure when I'll ovulate, but will just try to do the BD a few times around those dates. Worked last time, so I can only hope we catch another one fairly quickly. It would be a dream if it happened this month, but trying not to put too much pressure on myself.

HidCat · 08/05/2018 21:17

Jumping on! Got my first AF after MC on Saturday and usually around a 30day cycle so another one for 5th June!

Doing opks to keep track of my cycle, I know that the recommendation is to start testing at about CD 11 but given this will be 2nd cycle after MC I thought I'd start early in case my cycles are out of whack. It's not too obsessive to start as soon as AF clears up is it? 🀫

LP17 · 09/05/2018 15:43

Hello all. Some familiar names on here already I'm sad to see.

Reserving my spot early as my temperature dropped this morning & have been spotting for 2 days already with sharp pains/cramps too. AF imminent (not due til Saturday but cycles have been between 26-29 days since coil removed in Dec).

Age: 28 (29 next week Shock)
TTC #1
Cycle #4
BFP/AF due 7th June.

Sticking with temping this month as it is quite interesting but might stop putting symptoms into FF app as it telling me there is 1% chance of BFP at this point is unnecessary and depressing.

In fact I've just lied -

Cycle #5.

HidCat · 09/05/2018 17:46

@Peggyssue hopefully you have notifications for this.

mostimproved · 09/05/2018 17:51

MrsMDD are you me?! We have similar stats and my DS must be about the same age as yours. For me it’s very different second time around as the first was unplanned, but this time I’m looking forward to accurately knowing when I conceived. I’m trying to eat healthy but haven’t cut out alcohol as yet, but will do in the tww as I don’t want to jeopardise my chances. Has anyone else changed their diet or alcohol consumption?

Peggyssue · 09/05/2018 17:54

@HidCat thank you! :)

Af arrived a day or so early. Had blood tests to check for ovulation and when I phoned for results today I was told they were β€˜dissatisfactory’ and to make an app with the doc to discuss β€˜next steps’. Not feeling good today.

I think AF came today so here I am! Good luck ladies. If I get pregnant in June I'm due on my birthday πŸŽ‚

Nillynally · 09/05/2018 20:20

Edit to say it's cycle 3 now!

piglet81 · 09/05/2018 20:42

Hello, can I hop on board? TTC no. 2 (DS turns three tomorrow!). Early MC in September and would have been due around now, so feel a bit emotional on several fronts right now. Determined to give it our best shot this month.

CD8 today
AF/BFP due 2 June or thereabouts (irregular cycles)

sailorcherrie · 10/05/2018 07:00

Well AF has b*ggered off now and just waiting to start the OPKs again!

Did all my date calculations to allow for a cycle length anywhere between 28-35 days.

@HidCat I'll be starting OPKs tomorrow and plan to harass the husband every other day right through to the 27th.

Pretty sure we missed most of the window last month cause we were so confused with what my cycle length was going to be and fighting with the OPKs for the first time.

Also bought a good Braun digital thermometer (reduced on amazon) to replace the boots cheapy which thinks I have hypothermia most mornings (lowest reading has been an interesting 35.5)

@mostimproved I'm trying, but largely failing, to lose some weight doing WW no-count to try and help things along and I dodge the drink till AF comes then I don't make myself feel guilty thinking I'm scuppering my chances during the rest of the month. When she arrive last Friday I quite enjoyed a couple of beers with DH to soothe the disappointment that it hadn't happened that month.
