Not sure if it is a certain person/group of people who start these threads but hadn't seen the June bus rolling round yet so here goes...

Thanks Clair, I think I'll mention it. It's either that I don't measure the temp right or the phase is just too short. Neither would be great obviously...

lanalawr · 19/05/2018 11:59

I wasn't sure whether to join this or not. We're trying for our second but not going down the temping or opk route. It's our first month so seeing how it goes. It's a bit nerve wracking because we were lucky with our first and fell pregnant straight away but we're also trying to move house now.

Fingers crossed for everyone on the June bus!

clairehr · 19/05/2018 17:11

@Theonewiththebaby Either way it can at least be helped! How are you temping at the moment?

@lanalawr Welcome! And good luck! Hopefully this time will prove just as quick for you!

sprinkleofsunshine · 19/05/2018 19:41

2-4 dpo creamy cm mixed with bright yellow colour and general wet feeling that when wiping, left pulsing sensation and slight sharp movement in left ovary (felt like it was squeezing through but different to my usual o pain)
Day or two later I had mild cramping, pain around kidney area when going to toilet (wee) and feeling of needing to squeeze it out but only once
General feeling of coming down with something around 3-7 dpo
Now at 9 dpo I have had general aching pain in right boob with shooting pains a couple of times

Although weirdly this month I didn't feel o at all which I usually do and I only dtd twice in dw leading up to ovulation so I may already be out! Sad

sprinkleofsunshine · 19/05/2018 19:42

Deleted the first bit of my message which said -think I may be out already but here's some symptoms I've had.

@mostimproved when are you testing?

ronniemipperton · 19/05/2018 19:48

Normally around O time I get a temp dip one day then temp rise the next day. This time I had temp dip on Wednesday but still no rise. I’ve had problems in the past with no ovulating due to overexercising, which I sorted by giving up exercise (and gaining 15kg in the process...). Have recently started exercising again so a bit worried my body’s having a hissyfit about it :(

Funkyemzie · 20/05/2018 00:22

Evening everyone, so sad but lovely to see alot of familiar names on here. I'm trying to limit my time on here because I was getting so addicted to It!

Age 36 (37 on tuesday) sigh
Ttc #2
Cycle 9

So last month I ovulated properly after my MC, sadly a bfp's but it seems I'll be testing on the 5th June.

I really hope that this beautiful weather here in the UK can produce lots of lovely sticky Bfp's for us. Trying to pack up a house ready for our move hopefully next friday, organise my daughter for her dance show and a very very busy week at work...no pressure at all this week. πŸ˜₯

I haven't read through all the posts on here yet but big hugs to everyone.

TheOneWithTheBaby · 20/05/2018 06:20

Claire, I try to measure as soon as I wake up, which is usually around the same time. I say usually as I sometimes sleep longer on weekends obviously.

My DH bought me a themometre that has Bluetooth, so it automatically sends the temp to an app and that calculates when ovulation is. I'm not sure the app is always right, but it makes a graph and i find that really useful.

mostimproved · 20/05/2018 07:53

@sprinkleofsunshine I think I’m on the wrong bus as I don’t think I can wait until June to test. Ovia app says I can test on 28th May so will hold out until then at least. How about you?

I’ve still got really sore boobs at the sides and still feel like I’m coming down with something. I had the temp dip and then spike after ovulation, and it’s still high but even higher than last month, so maybe I have got a virus.

Hello to new joiners and good luck for this month!

Moxska · 20/05/2018 08:54

Toot toot! Finally had AF so on to cycle 2!

Age: 27
TTC: #1
Cycle: 2
AF due: 12 June (ish)
Cycle length: Last cycle was 41 days after coming off pill so still to be determined!!

Current cycle day: 3

Dassie81 · 20/05/2018 08:56

Well, decided to try with the opk this month. I got my full smiley yesterday (19th / CD20), but actually fell asleep before hubby came to bed. Duh! That said we did bd on the 16th and 18th, and hopefully tonight too. I hope it's enough to get off the bus! Starting to realise how lucky we were with DD to fall pregnant straight away (though that's a bit dramatic given were only on cycle 3, but I'm 36 and not getting any younger πŸ˜„)

WhitleyBae · 20/05/2018 15:26

Af just arrived - really hoping June is my month Sad

sailorcherrie · 20/05/2018 16:47

How's everyone doing?

I've been trying to be a bit more zen this month and not obsess and talk about thing constantly (hence my relative quietness on here)

Since I'm still not certain about my cycles etc I've been temping and OPK-ing every morning and BDing every other day to try and cover the potential fertile windows for a 28, 32 or 35 day cycle.

Had that bloody flashing smiley for 8 days so far so hoping for the static smile soon!

Not certain I've had EWCM but there seems to be an increase in CM the past couple of days.

Fingers crossed and baby dust for everyone!

Age: 42 (nearly 43)
TTC: #2
Cycle: 1 (had MMC at 12 weeks in March)
Cycle length: usually 28
AF arrived last week, 5 weeks after my ERPC procedure. So I'm just able to hop on the June bus. I would love it to be this month as my goal was to be pregnant again before I was 43 but the miscarriage threw that off track. 43 felt like a looming fertility deadline but I'm trying to see beyond the number. The miscarriage was our first try so it can't be impossible....good luck to everyone.

sprinkleofsunshine · 20/05/2018 21:27

@mostimproved fx for when you test!

I couldn't wait and tested this morning and got a bfn, I'm about 10dpo, I'm not overly surprised but still clinging onto the hope that it's too early HmmSad

mostimproved · 20/05/2018 21:46

@sailorcherrie I was concerned last cycle about not having what I would class as ewcm, just loads of watery cm around when I think ovulation is, but google has reliably informed me that we all have varying amounts/types of CM, and it’s more about what is normal for you and what would count as an increase/change in consistency, rather than having to be a specific consistency.

@sprinkleofsunshine thanks, fx for you too as 10dpo is often a bit early isn’t it, so do another in a few days and you may well get a different result Smile

LP17 · 21/05/2018 10:12

@spottyyellowdress how are you getting on?
@clairehr have you taken any more tests??

I'm CD11. Temp is the lowest it has been so far so I think today/tomorrow are "the" days. Living with the ILs so DTD is very tricky and feels totally illicit - sneaking off to our own house to see the builders 'progress' (read: mess, cigarette butts and tools everywhere), trying to ignore it so we can happily DTD and maintain low-stress levels. The things we do...

sailorcherrie · 21/05/2018 10:28

@LP17

How do you find temping? I find it quite confusing but I'm only on the 2nd cycle of temping and bought a better (I think) thermometer to use this month.

I'm CD17 and hoping this mornings dip is pre-O

DH is away for work overnight tonight but I pounced on the poor soul last night and plan to do the same tomorrow when he gets back.

LP17 · 21/05/2018 10:49

@sailorcherrie I'm also only on the 2nd cycle temping (prior was just using opks) but find it quite interesting. The only drawback is having to wait a few months to be able to interpret the chart to idenitfy O before it happens, rather than after - I used OPKs last month to help. I believe based on the pattern/previous months data (from temping/opks) I'll ovulate either today or tomorrow. None of my cycles have been quite the same length but expecting AF around 6th June. What app are you using???

Weirdly enough, after O last month my temps shot up and then were exactly the same (I use a thermometer that gives me temp to 2 decimal places) like a flat line for over a week and then dropped back down the day before AF. I don't know if that means there's something wrong with me, but interested to see if it is the same again this month!

sailorcherrie · 21/05/2018 11:10

@LP17 I'm using "Clue" it lets you track so much and summarises symptoms and cycle length etc to let you look for patterns. The little temp curves are great as well!

I used to use it as a reminder for my pill and to track my smear tests etc so like a lady diary but now I'm using it for its proper purpose.

Spottyyellowdress · 21/05/2018 11:16

@lp17 after the receptionist mixed up my results and told me that my blood results were dissatisfactory and to see the doctor for next steps, turns out actually everything’s working fine, so feeling much less stressed and just hoping that maybe this will be the month!

How are you?

LP17 · 21/05/2018 11:19

@spottyyellowdress bloody hell!!!!!!! What a pain but I'm so glad for you that it was just a mix-up. We have moved out of our house for the time being - DTD a bit tricky at the moment as living with ILs but overall feeling much less stressed out and have also stopped using OPKs, just temping now. Fingers crossed for us both!

jeanzbeanz · 21/05/2018 16:21

@sailorcherrie How do you see a temp curve on Clue? I use that app too (on Android) but I don't think I have that functionality.

jeanzbeanz · 21/05/2018 17:14

How soon would you go see a doctor if you thought there might be a medical reason why you aren't conceiving?

I have irregular cycles (was tested for thyroid disorders etc last year but the test came back clear) and I have almost zero libido which means we don't DTD as often as we probably should. I find penetration very painful and DH has never been fully in, probably more like halfway. Blush (Sorry TMI)

I would find it very embarrassing to see a doctor (anonymous forums are bad enough!!). I know that's daft but have just been hoping somehow I would get pregnant and it would fix the above problems! We stopped being careful last year sometime and started actively TTC in Feb, which isn't very long ago, but I do wonder if I have medical issues and am thinking perhaps I should see a doctor rather than waste more time? Confused

Would be so grateful for advice.

HidCat · 21/05/2018 17:30

@jeanzbeanz I'm fairly certain you have the relevant symptoms for PCOS. I would get checked out for it to put your mind at rest. A short embarrassing period of investigation that could prevent a lot of heartache.
