@Boboelephant oh I'm sorry, I kinda know what you mean though. I was on such a roll and had seen so many bfns in last four days that I just went for it & another bfn wouldn't have surprised me too much. But I totally hear what you're saying. When I first got pregnant in January I didn't test until about 20dpo and it was super strong. I hope I haven't made your day harder today, I wish I could look into the future to reassure you that it will all be absolutely fine and you will get your bfp. I really really really couldn't want it anymore for you this month 💕💕
My temp went up slightly from 36.20 to 36.27 what about you? X

@Lilimum4 that's a bfp if I ever saw one! As someone else said, I don't know how a cyst could produce hcg? Pretty sure this is excellent news for you!!

@BabynameEdie omg congrats hun!! Amazing. Fx for a very sticky bean. Also I totally understand your worry but I had a chemical pregnancy in March and my lines never got even as dark as your one they stayed super faint, so fx this is a sticky bean! 🤞

I’m only 1dpo and think I’m going to test at 10dpo so 9 days to go... 🤦‍♀️ I know I should wait longer but with all these BFP’s it’s impossible! I wanna join in 🤣

@hayleyfx thanks lovely, that's reassuring to hear. Sorry you had to go through a chemical too. Everyone here has been through so much but still has so much love and kindness to give. Am so grateful to you all, I would have gone (more) mad without you all. I started testing at 8dpo this month so I'm with you on that front! Just couldn't stop myself.. hope your tww flies by and ends up in a pot of gold / baby dust xx

Oh btw quick question ladies, I’m meant to be getting my hair done on Friday morning so I’ll be 3dpo. I was going to get some highlights put in (so will have bleach in it) but is this okay during the tww? If there’s any risk at all I’ll just get a trim and tidy up (which I need anyway 😂) but I don’t know. I had a look online and I’ve just read conflicting advice. Anyone know if it’s alright? I’m overly cautious and such a worrier, just don’t want to do anything to jeopardise things haha!!

My 1st period since the miscarriage started yesterday and is so bloody horrible!!

Feeling positive though and go on holiday a week today just in time for my fertile window so fingers crossed for June for me!!

I have my fingers well and truly crossed for everyone else who is still waiting to test 🤞🏻🤞🏻

hahaha thanks @cakelaur am seriously hoping the amazon packer didn't quite supply the full 50, so shocked. I know I POASed a lot esp over the AF late days but didn't feel like that many sticks!
@boboelephant know what you mean - my relaxed laissez faire has given way to abject terror of another bfn month! not sure I even want the FRER's to come today. Felt so strong for most of May but on the edge of a cliff today :/ hang in there sister x

Thanks for all the comments, I know I need to relax more. I haven't been as stressed this cycle but maybe I need to start doing yoga or something.

@hayleyfx as I understand it highlights are fine throughout pregnancy as they don't touch your scalp so there's no contact as such.

@Anyday88 glad you're getting back to normal. Have a fantastic holiday when it comes, you deserve it!

@BabynameEdie the pregnancy I miscarried was conceived on my 30th birthday trip away so hoping for the same success this time 😂

@hayleyfx as far as i know there is no conclusive evidence of whethee hair dye does or doesnt affect a pregnancy and 95% of people in real life will have their hair (and nails) done as normal throughout.

That being said with hls as they dont touch your scalp you will be absolutely fine anyway.

@hayleyfx from my understanding of it, it's more than your skin becomes more sensitive and can flare up where it normally wouldn't. Also it's to do with the fumes. So just make sure you're near a door and maybe ask them to keep the door open.

Just a question to those who have recently got bfps (especially earlys ones) as it's been a while! Was there anything making you think you definitely were pregnanct e.g. any symptoms or did you just test on the off chance?

Im trying to rationalise not doing all the symptom spotting and kp thinking back to my last bfp where i really didnt expect it to be positive then it was. Retrospectively i had some symptoms. Crying a lot and bottled water i always drank smelt like wet dog and i could no longer drink it but it was only after bfp they made sense.

Af arrived today. One day early and with no signs or symptoms. Absolutely gutted. 3rd month since mc so last shot at being extra fertile plus I had really tingly boobs which I’ve never had before so I’d stupidly convinced myself this was my month. Just need a day or two to wallow and cry then onto the next cycle 😩😢

@DBoo can't say there was much logic to mine. The first one (that ended in mc) I tested every day from 8dpo because I just counted wait. I did this every month. I got my bfp on my clear blue advanced fertility monitor. It tests for ov and then asks for pregnancy tests too. This time round I got negative on everything from 8dpo until 14dpo, I got bfp on 15dpo on frer. And then got my bfp on cbafm on 16dpo. Af was 3 days late by this point. This last time I was super convinced though! I'd done EVERYTHING! 8day DTD marathon perfectly timed. Pineapple core, progesterone cream, relaxed, slept a lot, preseed, legs in the air! You name it we did it!

Haha @cakelaur that did make me laugh. Sounds like you definitely earned that bfp. Was it just the fact that you had tried everything?

Where do you get progesterone cream? I have a stash of cyclogest (progesterone) for when i get bfp.
