Delightful tmi. It's in now since I'm going to sleep soon. So far it feels a little weird but I never like using tampons either, I'll report back in the morning in how it was.

Slept like a log. No problems overnight, insertion and removal were fine and it didn't come out which I was concerned about.
I've started to symptom spot like a mother fucker today. My boobs are killing me, I swear I'm getting the tiniest tugging sensation so I'm obviously convinced it's implantation cramps. I'm only 5dpo I need to calm down Grin
In other news I've received my annual smear test invitation. I've not had a smear without my coil in 8 years I think at this point I wait for my period before booking one right?

@Aph413 oh yh smear test they told me the last time it was fine to get one when ttc but im not convinced id wait until u either get ur bfp this month or after af. I would definetely get one just not during your tww (or longer in our case 😩).

Definitely going for it if af turns up. I had to have a biopsy 2 years ago and I'm on yearly checks now, I'd never avoid it and you'll often find me shouting at my friends to woman up and get it done Grin.
I'm really hopeful for the ovusense because I really am no good at getting up to take my temperature.
Did you get the clearblue on groupon?

Don't worry I got mine less than 5 days after ordering. It may have been quicker than that.
I'm happy to talk to anyone about issues I've had with smear tests as long as it spreads to word and gets people to go. Luckily mine was only minor changes and a fairly low number of abnormal cells but I've got to go yearly for now. It was 6 monthly for 2 years and then it became yearly. I had 3 smear tests and a colposcopy in less than a year to figure out what was going on at first but it all seems to be normal now so I'll just keep making appointments as soon as they call me.

Can't deny it would be lovely to get my BFP and not be able to go though

@Aph413 i dunno can u get smears when ur pregnant? i think u can just not really early on, its scarey when anything like that happens but its common ive heard it happen to a few girls i think they had to get it burned away not100% but im sure thats what one of them told me. Its gd that they keep a close eye on it. Cant wait until they come lol sad or what haha

No they don't do smear tests when you're pregnant, my sister was due hers and got pregnant before her appointment so she had to wait until after her 12 week post birth check up before she could go

.5 degree drop today but since I started post ovulation I'm not sure how helpful they'll be this cycle.
Going to head to tesco for some soy and vitamin c for next cycle.

I keep hoping I won't. Still symptom spotting like mad over here. But if I plan for next cycle hopefully I won't feel disappointed.
What do the b6 pills do? I think I missed the explanation somewhere.

@Aph413 im not 100% i think its to do with helping u absorb iron. I was talking to sumbody else who got bfp last mnth and she said the things she done different were take iron, eat pineapple core after ovulation and used preseed type lube. So thats the plan! Lol

I already have fertiliy lube but I'll probably add lots of vitamins to my basket for next cycle.
So far I've added up soy isoflavones, B6, Vit C and iron.
I need to read up on angus castus too. Will see if any of that helps shorten my cycle.
Oh and I might try bromelain supplements for my next tww

Aph413 · 27/04/2018 15:59

And just to add to the list, have you heard of inositol? It can help balance your hormones and regulate your cycle. I was just reading about people being prescribed it for that purpose so I might try that rather than soy actually

Haha my DH already thinks I'm nuts. I think he might be worse than me when it comes to ttc. His only comment when I got the ovusense was it didn't matter how much it was if it got us a baby. Nice to have his full support but he is a bit bonkers.

Finally started my period after 52days! 🙄Thank god! It was going on and on. So now it is time to focus on getting it shorter and ttc!
Is anyone else doing the Clear blue clinical trial?
On another note my sister who has endometriosis asked her amazing top London fertility specialist about my long cycles and apparently she has suggested doing Hiit workouts and weights is great for shortening cycles?! May give it a go but I am generally fairly anti any exercise which makes me feel like I'm dying. Hmmm...

Aph413 · 28/04/2018 10:03

@FlapJackered Yay!!
I did the clearblue trial. I was on the control arm though and this was a few months back when I thought my periods were going to be normal.
Are you going to try any extra supplements this cycle?
