@TwittleBee hopefully the distractions do you gd hows the wedding plans going? Has anyone heard of or tried vitex and/or soy to help ttc think im gonna give the soy a go nothing to lose except my sanity lol 😖

thisisouryrfx18 certainly do not wanna talk about the wedding plans, too stressful haha - leaving it to DP to sort out! Havent heard of using either? Whats the benefits?

italianwifey · 18/04/2018 11:21

@TwittleBee I know, sorry haha - trying to relax is way more easier said than done! God sounds like you have loads on, that's a lot of stressful things going on right there!! Maybe that is affecting it you know. I read a really interesting book called 'the period repair manual' which really enlightened me on all things period!!

@thisisouryrfx18 haven't heard of soy, that's interesting! Is vitex the same as Angus castus? Be careful with that one as I've heard can do amazing things to balance your hormones but equally have a big impact on them if they are already okay? I thought about taking it but let me know how u get on if you do! Have heard mixed things.

TwittleBee · 18/04/2018 11:36

Just looked at when I'll be roughly fertile next cycle, DP is working nights so doesn't look like we will get to DTD then! Sad Not holding much hope for next month either Sad

thisisouryrfx18 · 18/04/2018 11:50

@TwittleBee and @italianwifey yh ive read gd and bad on the agnus cactus think its the same as vitex, but im gonna give the soy isoflavones a go its supposed to work similiar to clomid. Im not convinced that i ovulate ive never had a positive on an opk im up at all different times of day with work so i dnt think temping would be very accurate for me. Anyway off to tescos to try and buy some there see how i get on its meant to help shorten your cycle and with mine being 42days long on average im hoping itl work fx.

thisisouryrfx18 worth a shot. Do you have PCOS any chances? I sometimes have really long cycles with my PCOS although on average they are between 25 - 32 days. Could be that causing failure to ovulate? Not that theres much you can do I suppose even knowing that... You could try and Temp though as long as you get 3 hours sleep minimum you should see a thermal shift (as it is about overall pattern not exactly same temps)

thisisouryrfx18 · 18/04/2018 13:04

@TwittleBee ive never been diagnosed with PCOS but i think i could have it tbh like i said im gonna download sum fertility apps theyr free anyway just dnt know if theyl help much

Hi everyone! Grin

I unfortunately lost my first pregnancy to a missed miscarriage last week. I was supposed to be 12 weeks but a scan showed baby had stopped developing at six weeks Sad

I had the ERPC procedure exactly a week ago, and the bleeding has seemingly stopped now (though I'm still wearing a pad just in case it makes a reappearance!).

Fiancé and I want to start trying again ASAP, though I'm of course terrified of having another miscarriage. According to my app I'm going to ovulate on the 23rd, though of course my miscarriage has probably thrown my cycle all out of whack.

thisisouryrfx18 · 18/04/2018 20:47

Welcome! @CobaltRose soo sorry to hear about your miscarriage that mustve have been devasting❤ hope your doing okay

HidCat · 18/04/2018 21:55

@CobaltRose I'm so sorry, hope you're doing ok.

thisisouryrfx18 · 19/04/2018 10:13

Ive just been told by another poster on another thread about ovusense check it out girls if your up at all different for work etc and find it hard to temp it could b a solution. She said use the code SPRING to get £50 off.

OP posts:
italianwifey · 19/04/2018 11:06

Sorry to hear that @CobaltRose :-( hope you're as okay as you can be, must have been awful x

TwittleBee · 19/04/2018 11:44

thisisouryrfx18 FX that you get somewhere with them, I really am enjoying FF (despite it looking clunky), haven't really got on with any of the others as well, I think it is because of my irregular periods and short luteal phase. What is Ovusense?

CobaltRose so sorry Flowers cannot imagine how devastating that must have been. And welcome here!

Well AF due tomorrow but I am back to clinging to hope as BBT is still above coverline well and truly and now convincing myself that maybe yesterdays slight dip was a dodgy temp reading haha

Cakelaur · 19/04/2018 11:51

Omg!! @TwittleBee test test test!!!

TwittleBee · 19/04/2018 11:53

Cakelaur I cannot warrant spending anything else on tests until AF is late (spent £50 on them this cycle alone!!!!)

TwittleBee · 19/04/2018 11:58

Here's my chart anyway Cakelaur Smile

Cakelaur · 19/04/2018 12:02

@TwittleBee I'm SOOO excited for you!! When is AF actually due?

TwittleBee · 19/04/2018 12:05

Cakelaur well before I started taking Vit B it would have been due today but since I started taking it my luteal phase has increased by a day so should be due tomorrow now.

thisisouryrfx18 · 19/04/2018 12:20

@TwittleBee the wait must b killing you! Fx for u ovusense its like a tampon almost u insert into ur vagina im assuming at night and it links up to an app in ur fone and gives u ur bbt makes temping more accurate gd for if u forget to take temp in the morning or if u wake up at all different times.

OP posts:
thisisouryrfx18 · 19/04/2018 12:21

How are you feeling @Cakelaur have u been to docs to get midwife appt etc 💜

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 19/04/2018 12:22

thisisouryrfx18 there is Ava (like a fitbit) as well isn't there? I was considering that one just for pure ease

thisisouryrfx18 · 19/04/2018 12:25

@TwittleBee never heard of ava crazy what they come up with lol

OP posts:
Cakelaur · 19/04/2018 12:52

I was tempted to get the Ava bracelet, but I couldnt justify the expense and temping normally worked for me. I've got scan at Epu on 27th, I have self referred to the midwife, so we'll see what date they want to see me. Haven't bothered going to the Drs, cos they'll just tell me to self refer. I feel pretty good. Mega tired and hungry and boobs are a bit sore and crampy, but just happy to be pregnant. I've got off work until 14th May too cos of puppy and we're heading to Mauritius for 10 days on 30th April, so couldn't ask for a much more chilled time. Just hoping the scan goes well so we can enjoy the holiday.

TwittleBee · 19/04/2018 13:48

Cakelaur aww have a lovely time! Wish I had a holiday lined up!

italianwifey · 19/04/2018 14:32

@twittlebee keeping everything crossed for you and hope that witch doesn’t show up tomorrow!
