A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement.

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

• Thou shalt not arrive one day and post BFP next day

• Thou shalt not give advice to others when TTC for one month only

• Thou shalt not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways

• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month

• Thou shalt not be offended by strong language

• Thou shalt not tell everyone to eat yams

• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

And most importantly...

• Thou shalt not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if you do so.

Sooz I always get the yellow Cm with a bfp. I've everything crossed.

Er. Just I think your friend is a bit of a knob. Sure, have a preference, but that should be personal, especially speaking to a ttc friend.

@SoozC I had a big blob of yellow CM today too. Freaked me right out! Wasn't sure if it's a good sign or just body still sorting itself out still. Never had it before!

Well, hid, I had it 3 days in a row with my bfp last autumn. So it could be a symptom. On the other hand, who knows what the fuck my body is doing!

I’ve stooped to my lowest yet. I watched a live video of someone doing a pregnancy test so I could sit and watch the second line appear because I’m so convinced I’ll never get to see it again myself.

So AF has turned up 5 days earlier than expected ??!! I suppose I should be grateful I have just cut out 5 days of 2WW angst now! Heavy bleeding, so can't kid myself it's IB. My fault for thinking my pcos and endo can't be that bad because my cycles are normally okay! FFS.

Got my next doctors appointment on Monday. Going through horribly hopeful phases and then back to being convinced I'll never have kids, bleh. Just been visiting someone with an adorable baby and lovely new house too, so happy for them yet so sad for me.

Aw @Jaggy I hope your appt goes ok. Know exactly what you mean about feeling sad but happy. I'm genuinely happy for pregnant/ parent friends but can't help feeling sorry for myself at same time, then feeling like a terrible, selfish person!

I'm having a sucky, bleary eyed day! I thought I'd got a bad case of PMS or PCOS in my case lol as my mood for the last 10 days has been up and down and I've been crying at things - Everything actually lol. Turns out, probably as a result of dtd so often, I have a UTI! The Dr has left me out a prescription for antibiotics. Stupid lady garden!

Thanks ladies. I promised myself I would stop feeling shitty all the time but it’s hard.

Looking that sucks, whereabouts in your cycle are you at the minute? And I was feeling a teeny bit hopeful until I started PMS’ing and my boobs started to get a little bit sore. How people do this for years and years, I’ll never know. They’re stronger women than me that’s for sure

@Bubblegum89. I'm cd 22 of however many days my body decides it wants my cycle to be! It was 26 days last time.

Sorry you're down, Bubble. On one hand it's good to be positive and hope but on the other hand we know we're unlikely to get it.

And now I'm trying not to think too much about my slight cramps and if they mean anything (only about 8-11 dpo).

@bubble sorry you’re feeling down. I keep looking at my old tests from DD and wondering if I’ll ever see those two lines again. And then if I do will it be a sticky bean. There is no way I can do this for years again.

Twelve days of sore breasts and they're back to normal today. Guess this means my progesterone has dropped and AF is on the way. I'm so fed up, it's not even here and I'm crying. FFS.
