Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

@seven201 I've just started on the b6 too! I think my luteal phase is about 7-8 days at the moment 😭 Think I'm going to speak to my GP again. Best of luck to you & thanks for sharing your experiences with me.

I’ve just ordered a few fertility/ conception books off amazon, seeing as I’m thinking about this all the time I may as well read some books too! I saw a reference to the Baby Making Bible and that linked to Taking Charge of your Fertility. They both have good reviews so I’m giving them a go. Just thought I’d pass it on! 🤓

Ladies! Help I'm still only in my second week (if my maths is right) of my TWW and I feel like pants. Last night I started to feel really sick when I went to bed. It didn't go until I fell asleep (no actual sickness) felt fine this morning until about 12, then feeling sick came back, then it went again after about 45 minutes, then it came back. I've been feeling like this all day. I have been trying to eat but not over done it. Can't think of anything I've eaten that's done it either.
I just wanted to know really, if anyone can relate? Is it too early to be a symptom? I did a test on Thursday which was a BFN and I'm not planning on testing again until AF is due/late which is is in about 5 days

Thanks @dreamycat. Sorry you think your out :( I’ve got a couple of really good ttc books I could look if there’s anything recommended for lengthening LP? Books are taking charge of your fertility and it starts with the egg.

@MrsE I’ve been nauseous for the last 2 days although actually ate a proper meal last night. Not got a clear bfp yet. I’m only 10 or 11dpo though. Fx for you!

@happy this is the test however the line is thin so I’m thinking evap. Why did I run out of FRERs?!!

sorry @dreamycat, really hope it's not the start of af. l'm 11dpo and have terrible pre-af pain, so just waiting on the witch now

Dreamycat, I'd go back to the gp if I were you. I think the next step would be progesterone, but I think the gp probably can't prescribe that without a gaenocologists (I can't spell that word!) recommendation. Maybe the b6 is working already though. Also, I'm taking vitamin c as I read that's meant to help absorb the b6.

Just putting this out there. When I was pregnant with my dd I didn't have any symptoms and I really felt like my period was on its way. So much so that I didn't test until it was about 5 days late as I really thought each day it would just start. I was so miserable for those 5 days! Just saying if you don't have symptoms it doesn't mean you're out of the game!

@Mimilicious013 You calling AF "the witch" made me giggle! I thought my witch was here yesterday but then she just lightly spotted (sorry if TMI) and left again on her broomstick so who knows what she's up to.

@seven201 Thank you for the positivity and the advice. Going to get some vitamin C & will discuss the progesterone/clomid options with the G.P, maybe she'll refer me to a gynaecologist.

@Dragonandthewolf I can see the second line but as you say hard to tell if evaporation. Hopefully it gets darker with the next test! Don't they say 'any line counts' when it comes to pregnancy tests?

Thanks for offering to look up luteal phase stuff for me! I've just been reading up on it in Taking Charge of Your Fertility but the author only explains how to identify that you have a short luteal phase (done!!) but no tips on increasing it. Hoping the b6 works & going to see my GP too.

Good luck with your BFP, bet you're itching to test again!!

@seven thanks for that. When i was pregnant in the summer (before mc) i had all the symptons. So far, nothing this time. Trying to stay positive.

Thanks @mimi, I’m trying not to get my hopes up, but I’ve never experienced it before. Going to try not to test today & wait until later in the week - if I can hold off until then!

And @seven is right, sweet - most AF symptoms are the same as BFP so you never know! You’re not out until you’re out, chick. I’ll keep my fx crossed for you xx

BFN for me this morning too, going to test with IC everyday probably. AF is due Saturday I think if nothing by next Monday I'll go to the doctors probably. FX they are all just early tests for everyone!

@dreamy no worries! It starts with the egg is also a very good book but not sure where there’s much LP guidance in there but will double check.
I think any line is a line doesn’t work with blue dyes because they’re so much more high risk of giving evaps. So frustrating! Wish I didn’t bother with it now.

@happy I really want to do another test pronto! I got desperate and peed on an opk.. there’s a second line but that could be anything! Think I’ll make DH go to the shop and hunt down a FRER!

@ATP1000 I think I'm going to buy an opk for next month (if i need it) as I actually have no clue when I ovulate and am just going by what Flo tells me.

Anyone else feeling super grumpy or is it just me Sad. Hoping its not PMS and I'm just irritable because I can't test for what feels like forever.

@Dragonandthewolf I didn't know that about the blue lines. Really hope it works out for you this month, will keep my fingers crossed.

I'm tearful and the spotting has started again so looks like the witch AF is here. Sad
