Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

@buntingandstarcharts thank you, yes I was absolutely fine afterwards, just came over very funny. Strange. I haven't noticed any symptoms but it is still early i guess and I have been really trying not to look too much into everything this time. I totally agree, Sundays are the worst!! It's so tough isn't it, I have had a few friends who have got pregnant in the first or second month of trying. I know it hasnt been long but it feels like forever and because it seems to happen for everyone else you start to question if anything is wrong dont you. why do we do it to ourselves.. how are you feeling? Any symptoms? Do you know when you ovulated? Xx

@LG88 I have absolutely no symptoms at all and definitely don't feel like it's the month for us. I know when I ovulated yes and we made the most of it, but that hasn't helped over the past 3 months 🤣🤣 We did use that pre seed so maybe that helped? But we shall have to wait and see. I think I'm about 4 DPO? So early early days. I do wonder why it takes some people a long time and why some people fall pregnant so quickly? How old are you if you don't mind me asking? X

@buntingandstarcharts no not at all, I am 29. How about you? Is this no 1 for you too? I know, it makes it so much harder when it seems like it is happening so quickly and easily for everyone else. Not that you are not pleased for them but it does start to make you feel a bit low. Trouble is although you know that stressing about it makes it worse it's so hard to not have it on your mind the entire time. Straight after ovulation the days begin to drag so painfully!! I wish you could just know instantly so that you could just put it out of your mind if it's not the month. I really don't think it is our month either! Just not feeling it this time. Xx

@LG88 I'm 31 and it's our first too. Thank god for this thread where we are all a bit obsessive. How many DPI do you think you are? I wish you knew immediately after ovulation too as it would be easy to just move on!

I think one of us has to get a BFP We can do this!!!!!

I tested at about 7DPO, obviously it was negative 🤣🤣

More than likely it wouldn't pick up the hormone level as it would still be very low. Don't dwell on it because it doesn't mean anything at this stage!! Xx

Thanks @LG88 you're definitely right. I think it's probably impossible at 7DPO to get s bfp. I just couldn't resist as I have millions of these cheap ones from amazon, I thought why not! 😁 heehee. Entering crazy week! How are you and @Hopefulbunny?

Oh I know, why is it that even though we know we won't get a result this early we still torture ourselves and let desperation to know overpower us. Honestly, you ladies stop me from feeling like I have totally lost the plot. 😄 I'm OK, no symptoms that I have noticed but I'm already convinced I'm not pregnant this month so not really looking.
How are you girls doing? Any signs or symptoms?? Xx

My period is due on Tuesday and I'm starting to get the signs 😪😪😪 It feels so long since we started trying 4 months ago. I wish I had just 'not been careful' months before we started to try properly. Cry. Feeling bummed. You girls? Someone has to get pregnant this time? I was so sure the pre-seed would do the magic 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm annoyed and sad! I was trying not to get my hopes up but I feel disappointed again 😢

@buntingandstarcharts don't give up hope yet!! It is very early for you to be getting symptoms of your period if it is not due until Tuesday. Plus they say that the earliest pregnancy symptoms are often confused with the start of your period as they are so similar. I agree, I wish there was a way you could make yourself forget you were trying until it happens. Chin up though lovely, you are still far from out this month.. Sending big hugs your way. Xxx

@LG88 thanks for your cute message ❤️ I always get period pains and sore boobs around 5 days before my period. Meh. I will keep you updated. When's your period due? You're so lovely and loved your virtual hug - hard to find real life people you can talk to in everyday life 😪😪

@buntingandstarcharts you can talk to me as much as you want to!! I understand exactly how you are feeling. You ladies have really helped me to feel more sane when I was feeling at my worst.
I have everything crossed that this is early pregnancy signs for you! I'm due next week and am sure it will arrive exactly as expected. At least if its not our month we can stick together next month to see us through again. Try to keep positive, the time passes so quickly and I am sure in no time you will have your BFP. It just feels like a long wait now. This time next year you could be holding your own baby!!🤞🤞🤞 xx

I'm not feeling that hopeful now. Not sure whether to test today, but might be better to know than keeping hoping, AF due Monday and already having cramps.

@LG88 and @Hopefulbunny I'm 99.9% sure I'm out. I got a pack of 100 early pregnancy tests for £6 so have been testing twice a day 🤣🤣 definitely negative. God I was in a right mood the other day when I messaged you girls! I felt so low about the whole situation (and I'm not one to often feel like that!) Had a proper cry, a sob kinda cry to the husband. What I meant by 'it's hard to find people to talk to', was that you can't chew off family and friends ears off because I don't want to tell people we are trying. Anyone I haven't mentioned it to just says 'it takes a while, don't fret!' I read that 80% people get pregnant within 6 months. So.... maybe next month will be our month? I'm going on holiday for 2.5 weeks over my next fertile window, so hopefully all those glasses of South African wine and wonderful safari animals will help with the current moodiness and tbh it's a silver lining that I can drink on hols, so looking on the bright side 😁 How are you girls? It's snowing! So nice 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

I think you ladies are a bit younger than me I'm 36 so worrying about fertility!

Your holiday sounds lovely at least you can have a nice relax.

When did you test.

Those cheap tests don't show till later I think, frers are the best for showing early but obviously a lot for expensive, I may just waste one of mine at least then I will know.

@buntingandstarcharts please don't feel alone! I'm in exactly the same boat, my husband doesn't want to tell anyone that we are trying so I can't talk to anyone about my utter craziness. Trust me we all have those days. I have sobbed on more than one occasion about it all. It is very tough and can be pretty stressful! Your not out till your out so it's not written off for this month but great that you have such an amazing holiday to look forward to. Hopefully that will take your mind off everything and help you to relax. You can always come here for a rant and a cry if and when you need to! Doesn't it make you want to punch people in the face when they say don't worry, just relax and it will happen.. It's like oh gee thanks, I hadn't thought of that!!!! 😂 xx

Well BFNon frer not sure if 10 or 11 dpo because I got a positive on the evening of CD 14 so may have ovulated on cd 15 not sure but anyway pretty sure I'm out.
