Anyone just starting the TWW..?

Hi all,

Just started the 2WW (I think) as I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday/today based on Flo & the bloatedness I’ve had...just wondered if anyone was at the same stage as me and how they were feeling about it all? This is TTC #1 for me xx

Thank you everyone! I’m still in shock and now keep saying it’s early days and not to get too excited etc. But really I just want to tell everyone! Not going to though.

@rosieposies that train journey was definitely worth it! 😅

The only thing I’ve had today is to be very sensitive to smells and the same headache as last night.
I’m testing again tomorrow to see how it’s all going, I’m bracing myself for whatever happens next. I’m 36 and never been pregnant so I don’t know how it’s all going to go.

What a lovely post @ATP1000, really happy for you! Can imagine keeping your secret is going to be a challenge. I'm 35 soon, how long have you guys been trying for? We're on cycle 8 next if this month doesn't work out. Love seeing BFPs, looking forward to seeing more from the ladies on this thread! xx

We’ve been trying for 3 months, I used all the kit I could because we don’t live together. I have an Ava bracelet for temps as I fly a reasonable amount and time zones make temping at certain hours difficult. Ava catches you when you’re in deep sleep so doesn’t matter about the time.
I also used clearblue opk, LH only version. I have a 28 day cycle, the apps were predicting ovulation 2 days later than it was so it was v helpful to see the positive and then race home the next day. It had turned negative that day and I nearly didn’t go!
I feel very lucky to have reached this stage so soon, I will be grateful for this whatever happens next.
One symptom I forgot yesterday is crazy dreams since 6dpo, one about implantation which I think I was so obsessed with I dreamt that from reading all the books before bedtime! But the other two were about spiders, which I am terrified of. I woke up and ran out of bed! The dream was they were in my bed! 😫
I had a bit of a panic yesterday because my moisturiser has essential oils in it, I used it and then googled it and some cause miscarriages, this freaked me out right before going to sleep. I took a test today and it’s still positive on FRER, looks darker today I think, top one is yesterday lower test today.
Clearblue digital 6 days early said not pregnant, so I’ll wait a bit longer to try that one. Still early days.

Af is finally here, so Im out. Maybe see some of you on the next TWW. It has been lovely sharing the tww with you all. I hope all the bfps have healthy and successful pregnancies.

I’m sorry that af has arrived for some of you this month, I’ve got my fingers crossed for everyone. Thank you for all your support this month. Being able to talk to you all has helped me so much. I’m waiting to get past af due on Wednesday, then I might feel a bit more confident. In the meantime I’m going to take it as easy as I can without anyone guessing at work! X

Likewise from me, it’s been really nice going through the tww together and I really appreciated being able to tell someone as it’s really hard not telling anyone in real life. I’ve got everything crossed for anyone going on the next month’s threads and will keep reading and looking out for familiar names (at the risk of sounding like a stalker) will be willing everyone on! Congrats again all the BFPs X

Cant sleep! 12dpo today or maybe 13dpo. Taken my umpteenth test🙈 I’ve attached the FRER progression over the last 3 days to today.
Also showed up on a clearblue this morning, they really are a lot less sensitive than FRER. This did not work yesterday.

My symptoms yesterday were incredibly sensitive skin on my face. Was using a different moisturiser with no essential oils but it was a basic one and I got a very bright red rash all over my face! Had to wash it off! Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen this morning! Pretty tired generally during the day but think I was making myself go slowly. Also I was awake 3 times last night, got up on the third. Needed a wee each time but have been waiting to take the tests!

How’s it going @lovesrunning? How many dpo are you? Have you past your af date yet?

Thanks so much Mimi :) Has af arrived yet or you still in limbo? I did a second test yesterday but didn’t take a pic -oops! It was a digital and said 2-3.

ATP, I think I’m 19dpo which ties in with the test and af was ‘due’ 12 days ago although a bit irreg since off the pill. Docs appt tomo and in the mean time trying not to freak out/shout it at the top of my voice/get excited/wonder if I imagined the whole thing. You?

Had a few sharp shooting pains in my hips last night (both sides). This is unusual for me, have any of you lovely bfp ladies had this at all? Trying to not get my hopes up. AF is due Weds...
