Hello to anyone TTC after suffering pregnancy loss at any stage. Supportive group for all hoping for their rainbow babies.

Everytime I watch the clear blue advert with the woman and her partner sitting on the bathroom floor I think...

"She obviously doesn't have the MumsNet line eyes!"

That first test is sooooooo obviously positive! Lol 😂

@HoldTightPretendItsAPlan Me too! Clear blue tests are very expensive and from what we see on here about their reliability you might as well buy a cheap one. I got mine from Wilko's 2 for £1 easy to read and I got a clear positive before our MC.

@UnicornsandRainbows1 it's like being a Jedi or a MI5 agent lol I doubt we could put it on a CV though.

I'm so sick of pregnancy hormones being in my body. My lower back is so itchy, what is that about?

I'm sick of plastering on a fake smile and getting on with it. This is really really shit! I positively hate this! No mans land. I don't feel like 99%of people know how physically difficult all this is let alone the grief. Now the physical side is almost over I'm just so angry. I keep thinking how irritating and heartless my employer was about ice on the grounds not being gritted in Dec and expecting me to risk going over it. Amongst a rather long list of similar things.

Evening all. 2 days post ERPC now. Feeling knackered and a bit sore still. I've been surprised by how little bleeding I've had. But then I have been bleeding for weeks anyway and the surgeon said there wasn't much left to get out. I took a cheapo pregnancy test this afternoon and it was negative. Might be a different story with a more sensitive test or first per of the day, but I'm so chuffed my body finally seems to be resetting. It's been a long road. Long sigh of relief.

@peachesarenom It really is crap. I still have some left floating around too. Everything else is back to pre-pregnancy size now fortunately (my body seems to like to go from 0 to 100 in not much time at all). Right now my boobs ache and my left hip (ovary?) feels weird but I don't know why. I'm so sick of it all!

@peachesarenom no I feel bad! I had a MMC on 1 Dec so it's taken such a long time. I know exactly how you feel, it's torture!

@DaisyMay25 thank you yes I did indeed - It was much much needed.

@peachesarenom it's such a odd situation isn't it. Like the mental drain of willing for negative once you've mc'd after spending months wishing for a positive. It's hugely draining emotionally.

I feel more content in myself now BUT it pains me to say it find myself being more and more jealous of those getting BFP. (And I know this makes me a complete cow which makes it worse. I nearly didn't write it but it's how I feel).

I'm actually going to take abit of a break from reading these boards for a couple of weeks I think. (I read a lot more than I post).

As I fear it actually just making me more obsessed / worried and upset to an extent.

Going away with the family so perfect chance to enjoy some quality time together and just be myself again not the crazed TTC person I've become.

@Patienceofatoddler I know what you mean exactly. I feel so happy for people who are getting bfp, both on here and in real life but it also creates a massive awful feeling where i want to cry and scream simultaneously. I feel like it's making me a crazy jealous person too!
Enjoy your break and time with family. I hope it gives you the rest you need and your bfp comes soon!

@DaisyMay25 I can't remember who told me about the 'bottom draw' thing. But women used to save household things, kitchen things, towels, baby clothes ready to take to their husbands houses when they got married. I guess it's the same principle as when Princesses used to make their clothes to be married in and Wear as a newly wed as a symbol of leaving their fathers home and becoming part of their husbands household.

Haha @DaisyMay25 yep! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - just in case!! 🤣 I am not tracking or using opks this month but feel like I'm about to ovulate. Had the shocking back pain Friday morning so hoping it's Sat or Sun and I'm still in with a shot! It will be early for me which is awesome. May be the seeds are shortening my cycles already! Hopefully af never comes!!
