@mimi hopefully! Text him to wake you up! 😉 Yeah I will make sure to bd until Wednesday and cross fingers! It's rubbish timing as I leave 3 days before fw start and get back 1 day before af due!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 21/01/2018 18:00

I'm hoping to just take the route of no ovulation tests, dtd stress-free because who knows when I'll ovulate, meaning I won't have that niggle at the back of my mind wondering whether that was it because I got a positive ov. test. I'm just going to keep it simple, and just hope I'll ovulate this cycle so we have a chance after all of this long bullshit 🤞

Mimilicious013 · 21/01/2018 18:00

sorry for the triple post í½í¹
it's going to be a long cycle for you then @bobo.a few glasses will do you good to pass the time.

Boboelephant · 21/01/2018 18:16

@Mimi yes I'm supposed to just be taking a month off and not thinking about it but my brain is not playing ball. Hopefully when I'm away I'll just not think about it!
Good plan @UnicornsandRainbows1! The months I didn't stress and just dtd regularly I fell preggers straight away. If only we could just take the thinking and obsessing out of the equation hey!? Good luck!

Kkk87 · 21/01/2018 18:53

Yeah @Mimilicious013 I guess I do.. they will of all had there babies by April and soonest due next month

Morning all. So I started seed cycling this month and have a question. They say to take the first seeds until you ovulate (about day 14) and then the second batch from day 15 to 28. I was going to take the first ones until I ovulate which for me is about day 19/20 and then switch. Then I read that as you are trying to create hormone balance you should stick to day 14 and day 28 and your body will adapt. Not sure which one I should do.
Advice appreciated!!!

di626 · 22/01/2018 10:46

@Boboelephant i think id do to ovulation & then swap as the seeds are to promote the relevant hormones in each phase

DaisyMay25 · 22/01/2018 11:05

As per SMEP starting to do ovulation tests today, I usually do one a day but some people do two, any advice?

MrsMac1489 · 22/01/2018 12:27

Traumatic weekend. Massive fight with OH. I said the things you are meant to never say. My grief at losing our baby is so overwhelming I'm angry all the time. He says he doesn't want to try again for another baby yet. All I want is to try again. He says that wanting to try again so soon is unhealthy. I know he's got my best interests at heart. We've talked about it since and he does want another baby but when we are really ready to try again.

Anyone faced this after a loss? It's so hard to match up what you feel inside with what's best for your family.

di626 · 22/01/2018 12:31

@MrsMac1489 its so hard, i lost it over xmas after my last loss with DH & again said things i shouldnt have 🙈, i think though for me it made dh realise what i was going through & how out of character it was. Fortunately dh just goes along with what i want god love him. Hioe yous get sorted xx

emwithme · 22/01/2018 12:40

Today is CD20, 6 DPO (according to both my app and the stabbing pain I got when merging onto the motorway last Tuesday Hmm ) and I need to stop symptom spotting, or I'm going to drive myself insane.

It doesn't help that this is cycle 2, and with both our MCs, we conceived on cycle 2.

(It also doesn't help that I still have this awful virus so am off work ill)

Boboelephant · 22/01/2018 12:52

Thanks @di626.
Not sure @DaisyMay25. I'd probably just do the 1 but part of that is coz they're so expensive!
Oh @MrsMac1489 that's rubbish. My DH thankfully hasn't said that but he tells me to chill about it. Men tend to have a much more relaxed 'it'll happen, don't worry attitude where I've turned into a bit of a crazy obsessor. Maybe just share all your worries on here and just focus on the dtd with him!
@emwithme good luck and I hope you feel better soon

peachesarenom · 22/01/2018 22:41

Congratulations again Kkk87 and HoneyCake86 I understand what you mean about the emotional detachment. Sometimes I think I'll feel like that but then I also think I might just get super over excited!

peachesarenom · 22/01/2018 22:50

UnicornsandRainbows1 that is always my approach because I have pcos so I never know what is going on!

emwithme fingers crossed!

NoCatsHere I hear you! Again due to pcos I know what it's like not to have a clue what's going on.

Boboelephant I posted the girl's coat, was wondering what I would do if I had a boy, now I know! Also, saw the cutest pram with loads of 🌈 on it!

MrsMac1489 my OH wont say he wants to have a break but he is quite passive but still manipulative so I know that's what he's doing. I think he's worried I'm nkt emotionally stable and I'm pretty sure he's right! So I'm faking it! All very healthy this end!

peachesarenom · 22/01/2018 22:55

I'm embracing my crazy woman vibes tonight. Please indulge me!

My offical miscarriage date is 01/01/18. I had sex last monday 15/01/18. The next day I had loads of watery cm. You might remember I had a bit of a scare on friday when I had a positive preggo test and had to go back to the epu. They measured HCG as 10. Surely that means I'm pregnant, no, with a rainbow I mean? I'm chosing to believe yes! Or at least maybe.

Cookiefiend · 22/01/2018 23:24

@peachesarenom that would be amazing! I wouldn't get your hopes up too much if you can help it, but it is great to be positive. I hope it is.

So in 2012 my periods were regular ish. About 29 days give or take a day. I fell pregnant in December that year. I had one period about 15 months after I had DD1 then fell pregnant with DD2. I had one period about 22 months after I had DD2 and fell pregnant with the one I miscarried.

Since my miscarriage I had one period (I think about six or seven weeks later- still within the eight weeks I was told is normal). Then my most recent period was late- a cycle length of 34 days.

Since I haven't had regular periods in five years I now have no idea what to expect. Have I stopped being regular? Or did the mc just temporarily mess me up?

I have for the first time in my life ordered OPKs as I am not convinced I ovulated last month at all. I don't want to become too crazed about it as we have always been so lucky in the past (three pregnancies in the first month of trying). But I am just a bit befuddled. My mother had a very early menopause and I wonder if I might have started. (Or perhaps I just need to relax as we always have before!)

Sorry for the crazy ramblings. No one else would understand!

Boboelephant · 23/01/2018 11:07

@peachesarenom I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!
@Cookiefiend I hope your body sorts itself out. I don't have any definite answers but I do know that your cycle can be temporarily affected after MC for about 6 months. Additional my cycles changed for ever after having DS- thankfully a bit more regular but quite long. I would get the opks just to see where you stand. And yes relaxing is a good idea....although i know from experience easier said than done!!🙈

DaisyMay25 · 23/01/2018 12:47

@peachesarenom always good to embrace the crazy! Have you tested again recently? You all have such pis willpower when it comes to testing!

@Cookiefiend my last period was just a non period, but I'm still within the six months. Like @Boboelephant said, it could be from having your children. I'm using OPK properly for the first tome this month, I read though that they just tell you your body is getting ready to ovulate, not that you've actually ovulated. I'm convinced I have y ovulated since mc though, I get zero symptoms like I did before.

MrsMac1489 · 23/01/2018 12:52

@Boboelephant @Cookiefiend
Before we started TTC I just thought I had a regular cycle. It's not until we started trying and I was monitoring that I really started to see how temperamental and brilliant our bodies are. I'm waiting for my temperature to return to its pre-MC pattern but I don't even know if it's meant to return to normal, you know? I'm getting negative OPK's even though my natural cycles app says I should be at peak fertility. When you're pregnant it's all kind of clear cut; but when you're post MC you're in limbo because of our brilliant, beautiful, unpredictable and temperamental bodies.

gingerbreadmam · 23/01/2018 13:27

Is anyone taking any special vitamins apart from conception ones this time round?

I am planning to take b12, b6, b3, vitamin d and magnesium. Speaking to the doctor Thursday to make sure they are all safe to take when TTC / pregnant. Also already taking 5mg folic acid.

DaisyMay25 · 23/01/2018 13:37

@gingerbreadmam ooo please let me know what they say about magnesium, been wanting to start taking it again but was unsure if it was safe
