@peachesarenom try to not be scared & put ur trust in the medical staff 💗

Welcome to everyone else, great wee thread for support 😊😊

Big hugs peaches, i totally understand. I went into denial with my mc, just willing for the twin thing. I felt like it was the false hope that made the whole thing an ordeal.

9dpo and bfn for me but im trying so hard to stay positive. I feel daunted though because theres so many hoops to jump.. keeping my body regular, successfully ovulating, implanting properly getting past the period due date and making it stick for 9 months. It was so easy before my mc but now it seems like a huge mission my body has to pull off. Blush

peachesarenom · 19/01/2018 16:35

I got the clear! I'm so happy. Have to wait for the blood test and swab results to come back but the specialist Dr said no need to wait for period to try again so finally some clarity on that point. I adore my GP but I will always take a specialists word over my GP!

Boboelephant · 19/01/2018 17:37

So glad all is well @peaches

@di626 I went and bought all the seeds! What do you think is the easiest way to consume them? Do you add to food or smoothie or have on their own? Wondering what the easiest way is for a daily basis.

di626 · 19/01/2018 18:22

@Boboelephant hope they work for you!! I either add them to my porridge in morn or i eat fruit & greek yogurt & add to it! The ones before ovulation are sweet (well i think so anyway lol)

di626 · 19/01/2018 18:23

@peachesarenom happy days!

NoCatsHere · 19/01/2018 18:31

anne I’m ok thanks, much like you though. Had my last bfp back in March 2017 and since the mmc in April nothing since.... currently cd30 and waiting for af to show. Bfn this morning and no idea what’s going on!

Hi all, I've been lurking but haven't posted as I am feeling a bit like I am in a limbo-land. Too early to post on the pg board but not ttc at the moment.

Feeling like I might be back in the ttc gang soon though as I don't feel pregnant at all.
Dr said that I could have an early scan after 6 weeks. Would you do it? I don't know if it's a good idea or not. Would hate to have inconclusive result.

NelleB · 19/01/2018 19:41

@Hollymchollyface I am the same as you. I can't get excited yet. Thinking of paying for an early scan. This is me today x

@Hollymchollyface knowing me i prob would have a scan as wouldnt settle either way maybe even 6.5/7wks so the thought of possibly getting reassurance would outweigh getting none!

@NelleB those are great lines 😊

peachesarenom · 19/01/2018 20:17

Thank you all so much for your support today! I really appreciate it xxx

RachelS1923 · 19/01/2018 20:48

Hi guys, I'd like to join if that's ok?

Little bit about my situation:

I'm 31, DP 36, TTC #1, proud puppy parents of Archie. Found out I was pregnant (first pregnancy) 16th December, bleeding started 18th December in the middle of a night shift 🙄. First scan inconclusive on 21st December, 2nd scan 4th January confirmed that unfortunately baby had stopped growing at 7 weeks and there was no heartbeat. Opted for medical management and have just stopped bleeding after two weeks.

Now just waiting for negative test so I can move forwards and start trying again. This little one wasn't supposed to be, but hoping the next one sticks around. It was such a hard start to 2018 so really hoping that the year improves from here. Looking forward to you all being a part of this crazy journey!

Kate8989 · 19/01/2018 20:59

Welcome Rachel!

This is a really nice post to be part of as we all been through similar experiences.

Sending lots of sticky baby dust to everyone!!! Xx

gingerbreadmam · 19/01/2018 21:09

Your best bet is waiting till 8 / 9 weeks for a scan as it would be conclusive either way then.

I've just been reading a thread today about someone with an inconclusive 6wk scan and lots of posters said same happened to them and two weeks later all was well. It wouldn't be worth the stress for me. I think I'd rather think I was pregnant and hope for the best.

Congrats on the bfps. That's a strong one!

Flatwhite32 · 19/01/2018 21:10

Hi ladies. Just checking in to see how you are all doing. So sorry to everyone here who is new. The ladies here are lovely and very supportive.

@peachesarenom I'm so glad you have the all clear to TTC again.

@NelleB in my current pregnancy I had pink discharge and spotting (enough to need a pad) at 6 weeks. Thankfully it was just random (touch wood a million times over). Your tests look great!

@UnicornsandRainbows1 and @di626,
how are you doing lovelies? Xx

di626 · 19/01/2018 21:20

Hi @Flatwhite32 nice to see you still checking in, i miss the 'oldie' names!! Though happy for yous! Yeah im grand - usual off days where tears still flow. Had recurr m/c app this week so we both had bloods taken, scared what they may show up but will have to cross that bridge then. Im lurking on other threads i have no need to be on(!) but glad to see you are getting through the weeks hun 😊 xx

Eastend2015 · 19/01/2018 21:35

Hi all just checking in. It’s been a busy week looking after DS while DH has been away. Been decorating like a demon too in an effort to take my mind off things. Fx for next cycle and awaiting RMC appointment on 7th. Welcome newbies!

Boboelephant · 19/01/2018 21:48

@Hollymchollyface its up to you but I would definitely be getting the scan. As @di said maybe 6.5-7 weeks. You can always pay for a private one later too if you want. I wouldn't be able to just wait and not know.
Welcome to the group @RachelS1923. Hope 2018 brings you your bfp soon.

Boboelephant · 19/01/2018 21:49

@di626 I necked them down with a glass of OJ. Not bad!!😆

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 19/01/2018 22:12

@Flatwhite32 Doing alright, nearly said the dreaded 'I don't know why you'd want to be with someone who can't carry your babies' to DH though when we were having a bit of a mini-row. Never thought I'd be so close to saying it or why I nearly did.

Period is officially over today so I'm happy with that. Have a blood test of Monday and then have to work as I couldn't book it off. No idea how I'll be but I should be getting Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off. It's not the same but at least I can let off some steam and whatnot

NelleB · 20/01/2018 05:02

@Flatwhite32 how far along are you? I hope it's all going super! X

Hollymchollyface · 20/01/2018 05:38

Thanks, I think I will wait if I can. Cracked and did another test this morning and its still +ve so I am going to sit on my hands and try and think about something else for 3 weeks if thats even possible.

di626 · 20/01/2018 08:05

@UnicornsandRainbows1 aw ive done that too but only ive said it out loud 🙈. Glad to hear af finished for you & hopefully at a stage where you can ttc over coming weeks.

Af seems to have finally arrived after 7 days of spotting - WTF!! Im glad it has so can move on to another month!!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 20/01/2018 08:17

So close to being negative 🎉 Hopefully it means I might still ovulate before next AF

@di626 Oh no! I'm sure we beat ourselves up way more than we really should do! I'm glad things have actually settled for you, though obviously having AF sucks.

@UnicornsandRainbows1 yeayyyy!!! At long last for you!! Never did we think starting off on this road we'd be happy to see negatives!!
