I use opks twice a day as I read somewhere that your surge can happen really quickly so might not show at say lunchtime but will in the evening!! Pretty much how mine have been looking, maybe it’s how my body works as I always got a good bfp with evening urine rather than fmu !!!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 13/02/2018 20:53

@Eastend How is everything today? :)

Cakelaur · 13/02/2018 21:15

I used opks twice. And also clear blue fertility monitor. Opk in morning and after work around 5pm and CBFM is fmu.

Cakelaur · 13/02/2018 21:16

Test day tomorrow ladies. Who's with me? I'll be 9dpo. Still early as AF due on sat/Sunday!! But I'm gonna test each day until af shows or I get bfp!!! 🤞 to anyone testing
Soon! Xx

Martydog · 13/02/2018 22:11

@cakelaur My app says I'm 6 dpo but I normally ovulate 2/3 days before the app and I haven't used ovulation sticks this month so I could be 8/9. I'm trying to hold off until next week to poas but a valentines bfp would be great. 🤞

Martydog · 13/02/2018 22:13

I'm symptom spotting to the extreme now I am even wondering if it's a sign because the cat keeps curling up on me that maybe she can sense something. 😂

Cakelaur · 14/02/2018 07:43

Hahhaha @Martydog excellent symptom spotting.
Well I poas this morning at 9dpo and bfn!! So I'm guessing maybe a little too early. Well see by the weekend. Although cramping this morning and last night so fingers crossed that implantation going on right now.
And just for extra crazy talk. I just went to see a friend yesterday and she was like... you're gonna have a baby on October 13th.... and if I fell pregnant this month I calculated when I got home to be October 12th due date.... coincidence? 🤣
Officially lost my mind!! Haha

Mimilicious013 · 14/02/2018 07:58

from your friend's mouth to God's ears @cakelaur , fx tx for you

well a clear bfn here af a week late. definitely not pregnant. l can't do this anymore and I think I need to take a break from ttc. it is f**get with my head and emotions.

wishing you all lovely ladies the very best. will occasionally log on for some good news.

lots of love and baby dust
mimi

Cakelaur · 14/02/2018 08:11

So sorry!! Sending massive hugs @Mimilicious013 sometimes a break is needed. It's hard work being obsessed with something. I know it takes it out of me. I'm going to be devastated if I get af this weekend. I know it will break me.
Xx

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 14/02/2018 08:18

@Mimilicious013 No worries. Sometimes you really do need to take a step back with this kind of thing. If you need us we'll still be about whenever you want to return Smile

Boboelephant · 14/02/2018 08:26

So sorry @Mimilicious013! Sending big hugs your way and hope your body sorts itself out soon and you're back to tell us you got your bfp. Thinking of you xx

Eastend2015 · 14/02/2018 08:51

Sending you hugs mimi!

Eastend2015 · 14/02/2018 09:17

@unicorns I’m doing ok thanks, you too I hope? Tested again this morning and reassuringly the test line came up nice and strong before even the control line. Nausea this time is different to all my other pgs- previously I had lots of dry heaving. This time I just occasionally feel the bottom drop out of my stomach if that makes any sense?! Boobs aren’t particularly sore either and they were really painful with DS. Oh well, I know every pg is different so will just have to hold tight til scan! Confused

PassTheAfterEights · 14/02/2018 10:15

Popping by to say thanks to @Mimilicious013 you've been so encouraging and hope to see you again with good news soon x

Hope everyone else is doing OK. fx for your tests @Cakelaur really hope you have good news by the weekend x

8dpo with cramps, backache & heavy boobs and like a fool POAS yesterday, got the squintiest squinter and a bit excited but no development this morning and symptoms have backed off. Trying to tell myself it's too early and not random HCG hanging around from mc. Three years since first date with DH today so going to concentrate on production of wildly romantic feast for tonight, I think!

DaisyMay25 · 14/02/2018 11:16

@Mimilicious013 sorry to hear that 😞
Take a break, drink lots, plenty of hot baths and lots of lovely soft cheese!!

Hortonlovesahoo · 14/02/2018 12:59

Hey girls, it's nice to read all of your messages and positivity. I really hope that all of these little beans stick!

YassQueen · 14/02/2018 14:19

Hope it's ok for me to join. I've just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I'm really quite low at the moment but I do want to try again. Been to the GP today who said I don't really need to wait any particular length of time to try again which is good, so it's just a case of waiting until we're ready now. It's my second miscarriage since having my DD who is 3, so if we have one more they're going to refer me for tests. I'm crossing everything that it doesn't come to that.

Mimilicious013 · 14/02/2018 15:31

Thanks lovely ladiesí½í²
lots of drinking and letting my hair down.
HAPPY VALENTINES Y'ALLí¼í¼·í¼í¼·

PassTheAfterEights · 14/02/2018 17:05

Happy Valentine's @mimilicious003 Wine

@YassQueen sorry for your loss - this is a lovely thread if you're a bit battered and bruised. Good luck for your next attempt whenever you try x

Cookiefiend · 14/02/2018 19:02

@Mimilicious013 - very sensible. Go nuts! You have been so kind and supportive to everyone here and we'll be here when you inevitably get you "break from trying BFP" return.

@YassQueen sorry- this is a lovely space with people who understand.

AF is here for me. Which is good- only a few days later than it should have been, rather than a whole week. So maybe next month I will have a normal cycle!

In other news DH (who is otherwise a total team player, usually we are both keen to avoid gender stereotypes in our roles) has man flu. The rest of us are just ill you see. It's possible we won't be able to conceive this cycle as I won't be able to let him near me as long as I can still hear his pitiful flu voice asking me to make a special trip to the shop to buy him orange juice as no other flavour would do...

Star88 · 14/02/2018 19:17

Feeling a bit disheartened. Mc a couple of weeks ago now and still no sign of ovulation. Unless I've missed it. Really hope I haven't. Sorry had to vent!!

dulwichdays · 14/02/2018 20:12

@Star88 - I know exactly how you feel! Was taking BBT and didn’t get any post ovulating rise and was convinced I hadn’t despite EW cervical mucus. Just decided that the signs were all over place and stopped monitoring as was driving myself crazy. Instead I’ve started having dreams about midwife apt’s and symptom spotting when I’m clearly not pregnant!! Bloody hormones - although not sure I can blame them considering I had a bfn this am (test to confirm success of surgery!)

Star88 · 14/02/2018 20:24

@dulwichdays it's so silly isn't it!! I had my bfn on Monday too. I just need to not thing about it but I can't...

dulwichdays · 14/02/2018 20:27

@star88 - absolutely impossible. I’ve done two tests one last week and one this, both negative...now it’s a waiting game...will it be 4 weeks, or 6 weeks....or more for AF to return?

Star88 · 14/02/2018 20:36

@dulwichdays I did one last week too even though they said no to until Monday-oooos! Are you waiting for Af? Or just trying straight away?
