@Cakelaur sadly I tracked my ovulation for the first time ever so am fairly confident I am 13DPO. Of course I'm not definitely out until AF comes, but pretty certain of it now. Oddly whilst I really want baby 3 like last month there is a tiny part of me that is relived because I know when I get that BFP I will be terrified!

@Hortonlovesahoo that is lovely. I remember reading something once from a mothers perspective which said her one comfort was knowing that her lost child had never known pain, cold, hunger etc and had felt her warm love ever moment of its brief existence. I thought that was nice too (expressed much more poetically that I did here).

Yes sorry to those with bigger age gaps with their children of course a bigger age gap is fine and I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself because things didn't go as they were meant to. Dammit!! Wink

Been a bit AWOL from this thread in recent months to get my head together. Still TTC #1 after MC at 8 week's end of august.

@Unicorn so pleased you've had a bfp again. Really hoping that this one is sticky. You've had the worst few months and really deserve a happy ending this time.

@cookie I'm the youngest with gaps of 5,7 and 10 years with my siblings. I'm very close to all of them. I felt I had my own space to make my mark growing up as opposed to always being in someone's shadow. But I can appreciate and understand why it upsets you. I'd be the same.

@Horton my counsellor recommended writing to help deal with my grief last year but I haven't been brave enough to yet, so I think it's very courageous that you have.

Hi @unicornsandrainbows1 it's definatley a lot to get my head read especially having thought initially we were having trouble to conceive. I still have so many irrational questions that I know are completely out of my control. Like what if it takes me another 18 months or even longer? Why are all my friends getting problem with no issues? Is it my fault? I do feel slightly to blame as I should have lost more weight before trying to conceive as I am classed as overweight. I know I'm definatley not ready quite yet but I'll see how I go and ask maybe after a cycle or 2 what they suggest? Xx

Just realised my post makes no sense. *can't get my head round

weasledee · 10/02/2018 23:02

Cake, I'm 4dpo too and I'm trying to not symptom spot, but did tell my DH that I'd had 3 wees in 2 hours! He just looked at my blankly! Grin

Cakelaur · 10/02/2018 23:30

@Cookiefiend I totally get that too!! I'm desperate for a baby but dreading getting the bfp and doing it all over again! But fingers crossed it'll be a sticky little bean.

@Hortonlovesahoo that's a lovely line. And such a wonderful idea about the letter.

@weasledee hahaha. My OH totally gets it. Every morning he wakes up and says. How's the temperature. And we've been at a wedding all night and he commented... you've gone to the loo ALOT!! 🙈

@Disneyrules totally feel the same about time to get pregnant. Scares me.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 10/02/2018 23:33

@Disneyrules No worries, I automatically read it like that and didn't even notice Grin I don't think they're irrational questions at all, I'm sure we've all thought about some of them.

@Daffodil77Thank you. I guess time will tell Smile

Disneyrules · 10/02/2018 23:50

@unicorns and @cakelaur feel like I'm becoming obsessed and constantly consumed with all things baby related lol dont know what i would have done without mumsnet over the last 5 months. Sharing and speaking to people going through the same things makes you definatley realise it's way more common than you would think but does shock me how little its spoken about elsewhere x

Cakelaur · 10/02/2018 23:56

@Disneyrules yup. Me too. It's all I think about, talk about and try to avoid! Haha! I Defo obsess too much. And dream of it and plan for it and yet no baby.

Disneyrules · 11/02/2018 00:05

@Cakelaur im glad its not just me. My husband has the patience of a saint sometimes haha x

peachesarenom · 11/02/2018 08:45

BFN here. I rrally wish my boobs didn't hurt then I'd be super excited about AF showing up.

Cakelaur · 11/02/2018 11:05

@peachesarenom sorry for your bfn. Could be too early. Until af shows... you're still in! X

keepinghopeful · 11/02/2018 11:23

Argh really feels like AF on way 😪

Cakelaur · 11/02/2018 11:48

@keepinghopeful sorry for you too. Have you tested?

keepinghopeful · 11/02/2018 11:59

@Cakelaur not yet only 9dpo but having stomach cramping so feels like its coming, i only have about 11 day luteal phase

Hortonlovesahoo · 11/02/2018 12:01

@unicorn: you’re completely right. All of us have given so much love and have so much love to our babies.

@cakelaur: I’m in the exact same position. I want a baby so much but I’m petrified of being pregnant again. I wish that it was easier and we could all have sticky beans!

Mimilicious013 · 11/02/2018 12:23

hope she stays away @keeping

Mimilicious013 · 11/02/2018 12:24

sorry @peaches, hope it's just too early

Mimilicious013 · 11/02/2018 12:31

oh @cookie and @cake, I am getting desperate too for a baby. dd turned 4 in December and the age gap is ever growing

Mimilicious013 · 11/02/2018 12:35

@horton , I can only imagine how it will be when I finally get that bfp. I will be worrying every minute and most likely going to get a scan every 2weeks until 12w.l think having a mc is just traumatic and will haunt us forever

Cakelaur · 11/02/2018 12:59

Ahhh lying on the sofa at 6dpo... about to go visit my best mate who finally gave birth over night. And I have weird twinges around my hips. different from af cramps and stuff I had it during my 8 weeks of being pregnant before the mmc. Can't help but get my hopes up. I'm gonna test on Valentine's Day morning. I'll be 9dpo. But hoping it may be faint but there. Then it can be a lovely present for hubby.
I'm totally driving myself CRAZY!! I'm Defo loosing my mind! Haha!! 😂🤣

keepinghopeful · 11/02/2018 13:06

@Cakelaur fingers crossed!! I had pulling sensations on 6dpo this time & had high hopesbut they are fading! I actually cant mind now what are good signs for me & what arent lol ...

Horton · 11/02/2018 13:22

Hello. To all those who are mentioning Hortonlovesahoo and using the @ sign but shortening her name, I am getting these messages, not her. I too have suffered from miscarriages and am finding being directed to this thread a bit upsetting so I'd be really grateful if you could use Hortonlovesahoo's full name. Thanks.

Mimilicious013 · 11/02/2018 14:19

noted Horton and sorry for what you have been through

well af cramps have started again so now hopeful that she is finally coming ((how ironic )) although it means no loving on valentine's grrrr

Mimilicious013 · 11/02/2018 14:26
