thinking of you @peaches

thanks @ek, best of luck.last few days of tww here too

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 06/02/2018 11:53

Last few days in tww too but I had the start of cramping last night and it's carried on to this morning. Maybe next month

peachesarenom · 06/02/2018 14:21

I called my GP, they told me to call the miscarriage association. They have given me an appointment though so we'll see what the GP has to say in person.

ek78 · 06/02/2018 15:59

@peachesarenom I hope the GP appointment goes well. Mine offered to refer me to counselling. I didn't take it up at the time but I think it would've been a really good idea for me.
@mimilicious @unicornsandrainbows fingers crossed for you both. I have a feeling this isn't my lucky month either @unicorns!

keepinghopeful · 06/02/2018 16:22

Flameredbus · 06/02/2018 17:48

Hello please can i join

Oakcrescent4 · 06/02/2018 18:07

Hello! I guess this is a bus no one wants to join. I had an early miscarriage about 4 days ago, am surprised at how physically well I’m feeling already I guess.
How long did it take for your next period to come? Understand this is different for everyone though.

DaisyMay25 · 06/02/2018 18:09

@Oakcrescent4 sorry you find yourself here, mine was four weeks after, they was regular for the next three but now they're completely messed up. They can take six months to regulate so try not to worry

Kingy2910 · 06/02/2018 18:40

Hi please can I join...miscarry confirmed yesterday.....not sure what else to say..... @pumpkinpatch000 how are you getting on?

Pinkcar123 · 06/02/2018 18:41

Hello everyone. I had a mmc (a blighted ovum) before Christmas. This was after Ivf treatment. I had one period then tested positive two weeks ago (conceived naturally) but sadly it seems that this pregnancy is not here to stay, as my hcg levels have only gone up by 10% over two days. So I guess my question is, what now? Do I ask for tests? Can anyone help do you think? It all feels a bit hopeless atm...

PumpkinPatch000 · 06/02/2018 18:46

Oh no @kingy2910 I’m so sorry to see you here 😞 silly question I know but are you okay?

I’m so/so, on an emotional rollercoaster at the moment and it’s exhausting pretending all day at work everything is fine x

Kingy2910 · 06/02/2018 18:51

Why are you at work??? Take some time off!!!

I'm ok think I've been expecting it to be honest. Had a private scan yesterday as started bleeding heavier. Been to EPU today to confirm again as they can't take my private scan notes. Well I thought I was ok but after hearing what I've yet to go through not looking forward to it. Just want it gone now.

SoozC · 06/02/2018 20:21

Sorry to see all the newbies - it's a crap bus to be part off (IYKWIM)!

My first af came 5 weeks after mc, 2nd also after 5 weeks but I'm expecting the next one after 4 weeks which is more normal for me. Physically I felt fine as soon as the bleeding had stopped but emotionally I'm still all over the place. I'm getting acupuncture and will get counselling soon too.

Hortonlovesahoo · 06/02/2018 20:30

Hello to everyone who’s just joining the bus.

For those asking about first periods, I’ve been told that it can take up to 40 days post miscarriage for a period to come and expect the cycles to be dodgy for up to 4-6 months.

@pinkcar123: I’m sorry for your loss. I’d talk to your fertility specialist about your options and what is feasible for you. I was with them for clomid as I’ve got pcos and they talked me through my options for the miscarriage and then what to do after to restart treatment if we want that. They were very compassionate and helpful

RandomUser23 · 06/02/2018 21:35

Hi guys,

I used to post on the ttc forums a year or two ago but it got so disheartening as was trying for a long time. Sad to see some familiar faces on this board sorry you’ve all been through this. I used to post as @Tryingtowait

I’m in quite a low point at the moment. I’ve got an unplanned at the time dc who is 5 now who was born very prematurely but luckily survived and is thriving now. I’ve been trying this time for 2 years to conceive dc2. I have PCOS and I got pregnant back in August. Had a mmc at 10 weeks in October. During the scan that confirmed the mc they found I also have a very large fibroid. I’m currently 3dpo and not feeling at all hopeful given history. I’m not currently on any medication but my periods are thankfully regular. Gp has advised if I get pregnant again I will be monitored more closely. I’m debating whether I’m entitled to fertility help if I already have 1 dc?

Again sorry to see you all on this bus and fingers crossed for you all soon.

Primrose16 · 07/02/2018 08:05

@Randomuser I think sometimes it comes down to location. I know in my area if you already have one you can’t get fertility help for free. It’s very unfair. But if your gp said you will be closely monitored next time hold him/her to it.

Primrose16 · 07/02/2018 08:33

I have been feeling queasy on and off all day for the last 4/5 days. Actually I’m feeling queasy right now. Also getting achy pains- not throbbing, it doesn’t hurt, rather just a annoyance. I miscarried on the 12/1 so not sure if my period is due this weekend or not. I can’t remember much of my past miscarriages and what was normal for next AF. We haven’t been trying this month- but also not preventing.

SoozC · 07/02/2018 10:19

Primrose - me too! Feeling slightly queasy since suspected ovulation at the weekend. Desperately trying not to read too much into it. Good luck to you.

keepinghopeful · 07/02/2018 10:38

Just wondering do any of you track bbt? My post ov temps are lower than normal & worrying me! I had peak last thurs & ov pain on fri so pretty sure i ovulated ... strange cycle ... typical 🙄

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 07/02/2018 10:45

So... You know how I said I was out Hmm

PassTheAfterEights · 07/02/2018 11:15

Oh @UnicornsandRainbows1 YAY! Delighted for you, such happy news xx

dulwichdays · 07/02/2018 11:22

@UnicornsandRainbows1 - Congratulations, fingers crossed for you!

@keepinghopeful - I’ve been tracking my BBT since my D&C on 24th jan and my temp seems to be all over the place. Tracking higher than my usual but I guess that’s to do with all the hormones. I’m pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (judging my CM) but didn’t have a spike in temp to confirm it. No idea really....!
