Not such a bad thing Cleo? I’m also cd8 - no line yet (which I’m pleased about) but definite twinges, ewcm and bloating today. So I’m sure it’s imminent. Just hope it’s not tomorrow.

Alibaba hopefully ov will hold off for a while longer. Cd10 for me, no positive opk yet but started dtd already just in case. I suppose this is our last chance before IUI so fingers crossed. Dh got his sperm analysis results yesterday and all looks very good so in theory no problem with either of us, I just can't get pregnant! :(

Not a bad thing at all alibaba, would be quite nice to have a short cycke for once (as long as LP is still ok)I get fed up waiting for ov most months, plus it'll be good to know I can do it without soy!
Hope yours holds off a little longer this month. It's a good sign that you have no line yet.
Orchid that sounds really positive. Hopefully just a matter of time for you then!

Very faint line on opk (after leaving opk for 30 mins) but sometimes it can happen rather suddenly.

Tested with a frer just in case but still BFN. Think my bodies playing games with me from coming off the pill. Makes sense though that both pregnancy and getting your hormones working again both involve rising progesterone so will feel the same. Hopefully AF will come and visit soon and I can then have a basis to work from! I hate this not knowing where I am in the cycle. Resorting to cervix checking too I think as it’s probably the most reliable thing right now!!! Feeling quite strongly that I’ll never take the pill again!

Out of interest those who have been on this thread for a while, have there been many BFPs?

I've tried cervix checking Karigan and I can never work it out! It will probably take a little while for your hormones to settle down.

Jojo, I would say 1 BFP every 2-3 months but I had quite a long period of not checking the thread.

I think last BFP was around end of Oct and one shortly before then-the lady who messaged last month that she was 4 months pg so one of us really should get a BFP soon.
JoJo-I've tried to check my cervix the last few days and can't say I've figured it out yet.

I think I have only seen one BFP.
Karigan - hope you get answers soon. It's awful being in that limbo.
Alibaba I had another faint line on an opk today too, and also a high on cbfm. Never had a high this early before.
For me the speed at which it goes from faint line to positive is completely random (just like most other things in my cycle at the mo!) I've had some months, like last where the positive was the day after the faint, and others, like the month before where it took a whole week to get from faint to positive. Who knows. Nothing is predictable any more

It does sound like we are due a BFP soon then.

I'm confused...I felt quite wet this evening so thought to give my cervix another feel...and managed to get some ewcm for the first time in ages (admittedly I didn't feel my cervix until this cycle). I thought omg bingo, maybe I've been missing my ov this whole time even though opks always turned positive later on. Dtd, tried another opk just in case but, as expected, negative. Considering I only just finished cd10 and my cycles are 30-31 days that would give me a very long luteal phase. I googled and found that some women do have very long luteal phases but my opks don't turn positive until around day 17, could they be off by that much? I also found a post by a woman who said that she gets ov signs including ewcm 1-2 times per cycle before the actual ov when her estrogen levels rise. Have any of you heard of that before? Here I was thinking ewcm only appears around ov time.

Ok after more googling I see you can have ewcm and not ovulate so maybe my body is playing tricks on me. Will be interesting to see when the opk turns positive.

I normally get ewcm 5-6 days before ov so it sounds right to me Orchid. It starts when the oestrogen kicks in I think.

I do get EWCM on and off for a few days before ovulation. I'm on day 7 and am going to keep a closer track of my symptoms this month. I haven't had any yet.

Oh ok thank you! It's been so long since I last saw any ewcm that I probably just forgot it can come that early :)

I am the other way round. Got a high on cbfm but no ewcm yet

Also, does anyone else temp? My non soy month sees my temps really low. Much lower than normal, today was 35.68, is that strange?

There is a temp dip just before ov Cleo. Oestrogen makes temps lower. Did you have a dip on the soy months too?

Got my positive opk today. Last cycle I had 2 days of positive. So not sure whether I’ll ov today or tomorrow. Not feeling very maternal today. Funny what hormones do to us isn’t it?

On subject of temps, yes I had dips on soy months, but it was one sudden drop then rise. This month it just keeps going lower and lower. Very odd. I had a feeling this cycle would be interesting.

Going to dr this morning, really nervous!

Good luck at the doctors Cleo. Let us know how it goes. I haven't tried temping. I guess I might have to if nothing happens soon it just sounds such a faff. I have to go for a wee at least twice in the night so not sure I'm ever in bed for long enough

How did it go Cleo?

They are going to do 21 day progesterone test and day 3 LH/FSH. Will be intetested to see what comes back from that

I think I need to go back and get them redone. Was debating leaving it another month but in reality it’ll probably be a month before they are completed so thinking it might be worth getting booked in now. Crossing fingers Cleo. Least if it is a low hormone there are things they can do I understand!
