Ladies, the old thread has now closed so I created a new one but can't post the link, hopefully you'll find it and we can continue.

Not a great day at work today btw, I seem surrounded by pregnant women and one walked over to me from the other side of the floor (she'd never done that before) and with a big smile announced she's pregnant again having just come back from a maternity leave. And a guy sitting next to me has a wife due next month which would be my due date had I gotten pg when we started ttc. Big sigh.

Oh Ali. Sorry to hear you’ve been tearful. It’s so draining. Are you gearing up for ovulation by any chance? I get very very tearful now for 24 hours around ovulation.

Orchid - sorry to you’re feeling blue. It’s rubbish. I’m actually ok in general with pregnant people unless they’re pregnant with their third. That pees me right off. I sympathize.

So annoying about your colleague. When I fell pg quickly after my first, I dreaded telling people. Especially at work. I certainly wasn’t showing off in any way.

Mimosa - yes I think my oestrogen is rising at the mo. Am hoping to ov Monday or later. If it’s any sooner then we can write this month off as OH away this weekend.

And thanks ladies-that colleague is pg with her 2nd which is what we're trying for so that made it hard. I wasn't showing off with my first either. And I certainly wouldn't do that to someone who doesn't have any children or only has one or two unless they specifically said they didn't want any or any more than what they already had but I know many women don't think that way. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.

Sorry to hear you are feeling down today, it's so hard not to have days like that isn't it.

I've started to get pesky dark hairs on my chin. Is that a hormonal imbalance does anyone know? Or just age 😕

You ladies are sensible. I’m being driven crazy by what I think are coming off the pill symptoms. Sore boobs swollen to the point I have blue veins, prominent Montgomery tubercules, and peeing in the night over the last week. Those Montgomery things are there all the time right? They stay after your first kid? I tested just in case but still negative.

I used to have PCOS but I had a scan a couple of weeks ago and there was no sign of it which was strange

It’s the bumps you get round the nipple. They are huge! I had to google wtf they were. Aka Areola glands I think. . Worn google out trying to find out what they mean but it keeps bringing up ‘possibly pregnant’ but the pee stick says otherwise.

Yes I think I might have to go back to the doctors and see if they can do some blood tests. I hadn't really connected it to TTC but it could be related. Karigan I've never taken the pill, well apart for a couple of months in my early 20s, so I've no idea. Are you using an early test? How many DPO?

I’ve got no idea how many days po it would be. My best timeline is I know 26.12.17 to New Year’s Eve I got flashy faces for the high fertility but ran out of sticks and didn’t buy more. Dtd um a lot lol. Last AF was withdrawal bleed when I came off the pill 20.11.17.

I tried an Asda cheapy today that’s apparently up to 4 days before and a first response last Wednesday. It’s driving me nuts.

Also just did some research and lots of different hormonal imbalances can cause hair on the chin. It might be just part of your cycle or even pregnancy. So yeah I’d go and ask for tests

I would try another early response test it could go either way by the sounds of it. Its definitely not pregnancy and I've had them a while I think even when I was pregnant.

Karigan I get those nipple bump things pre AF. Boobs go solid and sore with blue veins and bumpy nipples as part of my luteal phase. It sounds to me like your body is gearing up for a period.

Thanks littlemimosa, I’ll be glad when it makes its mind up and gets on with it. I haven’t slept all week with having to get up at night to pee and sore boobs when I usually sleep on my front :(

Just did an opk and got a faint line already, it's only cd8. I knew my body would do something weird this cycle. Not sure why I even tested this early, I just expected the unexpected I guess!
