Ladies, the old thread has now closed so I created a new one but can't post the link, hopefully you'll find it and we can continue.

I see I'm the only one worried about late ovulation which I read is not good either though ok if the luteal phase is long enough. Considering my luteal phase is usually 12-13 days I should have a 33-34 day cycle this month as opposed to my usual 30 so it'll be interesting to see If that happens. Since I got my latest ov ever I guess I might as well have my longest ever cycle.

Those who have had blood tests do you mind me asking what your results were?

I’ve had:

2 x FSH: 7.1 and 9.3
2 x Prog: 31 and 52
AMH: 13.7

I’m about to get more bloods done this week as the above were last year.

Wow Ali your AMH was great! Mine is awful in comparison so I'm trying to think of quality not quantity. It'll be interesting to see how it's changed since last year, I've been wondering how quickly it goes down.

Well I’m still not pg after nearly 2 years so it can’t be that significant. I’m not retesting AMH just FSH etc.

AF arrived a day early which is going to complicate the schedule for tests I’m having this cycle - gggrrrr.

Ok fair enough maybe it's not that significant.
That's annoying re: AF, hopefully you can reschedule the tests if need be.
Funny I've never been so eager for AF to arrive- means my tubes checked and fertility clinic appt so curious to see what they say.

What’s your schedule for next cycle Orchid? Are you having HyCoSy too?

Annoyingly I’ve also got to fit in a urine test as soon as AF finishes and results back before I can have HyCoSy.

So FSH/LH/oestrogen tomorrow, urine test probably tues/weds then HyCoSy either Fri or Mon but Mon maybe too close to ov. Not sure Clinic is open Fri though.

That's a lot to fit in Ali. What are they looking for in the urine test?
I'm only doing HyCoSy. I rushed to do bloods earlier this month in hope to speed things up but v anmoyingly my letter from the clinic about HyCoSy arrived Fri night on cd1 so when I called the hospital m on morning it was already cd4 and they said I called too late and to call on cd1 😭 so I'm now waiting and hoping AF doesn't arrive on a weekend.

We also needed sperm test for the fertility clinic appt but my DH did that at the end of Dec so we're good. Did your consultant mention that as well or is he just concentrating on you?

The urine is to check for infection pre-HyCoSy.

We’ve had sperm tested before and may repeat it.

Are your tests in prep for IUI?

No they're all required for the initial appt at the fertility clinic. I'll see what they say and then decide but I will do IUI if that's what's suggested.

Ali- what cd is HyCoSy supposed to be done? I really hope I'm not told on cd1 that they don't have any appointments available. If they do I'll be in a mad rush to see your consultant and hope I make it in time and not miss another cycle.

After AF and before ovulation.

Just to say that in my limited experience FSH results etc can vary over time and must be linked to how tired/stressed you are:

Eg my results over the last year have been:
FSH 8.54 then 12.62 then 9.4
LH 3.65 then 2.94 then 5.4
AMH 9.3 last summer, not sure now.

My middle results were last Sept and latest just recently. As far as I can work out more recent ones are better (?). Only real differences are that I feel much more rested/had time off work for unrelated health issue and drink much more water.

Just in case helps anyone.. Good luck for upcoming tests etc!

Thats really interesting seeing results, mine so far have been;
Last August FSH 10
This January FSH 18.4 LH 5
Going to test again in a month after some more acupuncture & chinese herbs, will be interesting to see if there is any change.
This cycle I think the chinese medicine has lengthened my LP as it's usually only 11 days, currently at 13dpo with no af yet so that's great. If it can hold off until 14dpo that would be perfect. Will be interested to see what happens to next cycle. My friend said TCM completely regularised hers so fingers crossed!

Cleo-I'm not sure the Chinese medicine works THAT quickly...how long have you been on it? I've been doing mine for over 2 weeks now but no changes so far to report.

My results were terrible - plummeted massively. Will post them later. Gutted!

Wondering if it’s age or had anything to do with soy or Shatavari.

Oh no sorry to hear that Ali! Did you have a chance to ask the consultant what might've caused it?

FSH 11.2, LH 4.3, oestradiol 386 and AMH 5.3.

I’ll speak to him on Thursday to see what he says.

Mine were FSH 7 LH 7. Oestrogen 140. AMH 8. In concerned about AMH and oestrogen.

Oestrogen sounds fine to me. Are you worried it’s low? What about the ratio of FSH to LH?

Sorry everyone is worrying about hormone levels. I’ve no advice to offer I’m afraid other than to say try not to hang every thing on the blood results. Try to keep faith in the fact that if you’re still ovulating it’s still physically possible to get pregnant.

Here’s a new one for you all. After my anovulatory cycle, I was expecting AF to be a bit late but instead I’ve had full on ovulation signs all day. So I’ve gone 32 days with no bleed then straight into ovulation?? Of course we’ve missed that egg, that took my completely by surprise. Weird.

Yes it seemed the lower part of the range but I couldn't find a lot of info about it. I've been worried about my AMH being low but it just seems typical of being over 40. I would say yours is too Ali. I've been reading a lot about low AMH and women with much lower than ours have got pregnant.

I think the ratio fsh and LH is ok?

That's so strange little. You think there would be some bleed before ovulating again. Fingers crossed it gets back on track and your next cycle is normal
