Sounds like a few of us will be getting the tubes checked around the same time.
As for me, I got a faint line this morning, mid-day and in the evening. I only have 2 cb sticks left though so if they don't turn positive in the next 2 days I'll stick to cheapies and dtd every other day until at arrives. Im no expert on this but my cervix seems quite closed so not sure if ov will happen. I read today that we have certain levels of LH throughout the cycle so it's possible to see faint lines which don't mean much.

Morning everyone. So, still only a faint line on a cheapie but finally a positive on cb on cd21! Unbelievable. I'll go with that though I don't see any ewcm so thats not helpful but hopefully pre-seed will help.

Yes v stressful! Thankfully I have my Chinese clinic appt tonight so if the ov holds off hopefully the session will help too. I really don't have any ov signs though. I was positive I ovulated (or tried to) over the weekend because of the pain I felt, some ewcm and cervix position but what do I know.

Orchid was it you that had AMH test recently? What was the result? And was it measured in pmol/l?

Mimosa, yes I’m having a HyCoSy the week after next. Had to jump through a few hoops first - vaginal swabs etc. I’m also getting another FSH etc done, probably on Monday.

Hope the timings work for HyCoSy as Clinic isn’t open every day and I ov so early! Gonna get cracking with the EPO asap. AF due Monday so when should I start EPO? Can I start now?

I don’t know if it’s true but when I was googling early ovulation there were quite a few people complaining epo caused early ovulation. Think my search referenced both. Thinking I might try not taking it!

Hmmm just came out the Drs and no real answers to the early ovulation question. Just got told it does seem early and they want to do day 21 bloods. Which seems weird as that’s supposed to be 7 days after ovulation which won’t be cd21 in this case 🙄. Guess get bloods done and go from there.

If you know when you ov then count 7dpo from there. That’s what I did. Weirdly enough I had another test later in a separate cycle (9dpo) and got a higher result!

Interesting about epo!

I read that the eggs get recruited earlier with older women - often before AF so that’s why ov is early. But egg should be mature. I’ll ask my guy when I go for scan.

Well if opks are anything to go by my ov has been later than before I started on epo.

JoJo- I had my AMH test in early Dec and it was 5.1. I had another one a few weeks ago bit don't have results of that one was waiting for my fertility clinic appt to ask but I suppose the hospital would be sent it to my gp so will ask the gp next time.

Ali- are you still with the same clinic? Might go there to check how the sperm acts in my cm depending on what my HyCoSy shows.

That would be ace if you could ask Ali. I don’t have much faith in that dr. I did point out that I know when o was but he still said he wanted day 21 bloods

Orchid, I have only had one session so far, found it really weird!! It was strange just lying there with nothing to do and load of needles all over me. At least I had nice music to listen to. Freaked me out a bit when he first left the room though as I wasn't sure he was coming back! Haha.
Going back for round 2 on Tuesday. Are you feeling any benefits from yours?

Karigan I am surprised a GP would sugggest 21 days only, its fairly common knowledge that we all ov differently! My GP had made it clear that I should have it done 7 days after ov or 7 days before af.
I would just book it for when you know its the right time, they don't have to know

Karigan I think it's really important to do the test 7 days after ovulation rather than on day 21 or your results will be really inconsistent. Having it on Day 21 only works on a perfect 28 day cycle ovulating on day 14.
I had my AMH back last week and it was 8. I've been panicking at that seems to be a low reserve but also seems to be average for a 40 yr old?

I’m thinking exactly that about the bloods. I might phone tomorrow and say I forgot which day and just wanted to clarify. Get them to ask the other doctor.

I'm getting it done at my local hospital. They have a fertility clinic there and the clinic asked me to get it done before they schedule my 1st appt. Not sure what cd it'll be on I'm supposed to call on cd1 to schedule it.

I’m expecting AF on Monday (it may start sooner). Clinic has suggested a week on Monday for HyCoSy which will be cd8 (or even cd9) and sometimes I ov cd9 but I guess they can tell from a scan how close I am to ov.

Ali I have no idea about EPO other than I know you are only supposed to take it from AF to ovulation then stop. I’d be interested to know if it’s supposed to delay or bring forward ovulation but in my experience of taking it it’s had no impact either way.

I think early ovulation is a real unknown even for fertility experts. I’ve researched it endlessly and asked doctors and no one seems to know why it happens other than ‘age’. Joy.

Karigan I agree with what everyone is saying. You need it done 7 days post ovulation regardless of what cycle day it is. It’s because it’s a progesterone test and it peaks 7 days after ovulation. Just lie to them lol.

Cd29 here of an anovulatory cycle. Had some spotting last night so hoping things are getting back to normal. Fingers crossed.

My consultant told me early ov is fine and the egg is released when it’s ready. However, I told him this cycle ov was cd9 and he agreed it was early. Whatever that means!

Ran back over the conversation and dr never asked for specific dates so going to lie and say Cd 21 is next Wednesday!
