Thought I'd start a new bus if that's okay as the Jan bus is getting quite full and I'm out of the loop.

I'll start with me

28
cycle 7
CD 14
Peak today on CBFM so should Ov tomorrow:-)
AF due 16/1

I have to say I'm fed up of this- we're using CBFM, softcups and preseed.

I don't know about anyone but me and DP are thoroughly fed up of having sex right now!! Although we're keeping it fun- to a degree. I wouldn't say we're dtd nearly enough this FW!

I shouldn't be trying to analyse it's so hard

twobambinos · 04/01/2018 18:48

Fingers crossed bump loving

Bumplovin · 04/01/2018 19:05

Gp said today that on average he sees people taking 6-7 months to conceive and the best way is to relax about it... I'm not sure he knows the type of person I am I'm rubbish at relaxing! Haha

nk1605 · 04/01/2018 19:29

This is the 4th day in a row of a positive OPK, what is going on?! It's also the 5th day in a row of dtd...we are thoroughly exhausted! But each day I get another positive I'm scared that if we don't dtd we'll miss it. Anyone else had positives for this long?

That's reassuring! Makes me feel a bit better.

BaliBound · 04/01/2018 19:32

@bumplovin 6-7 months Shock This is my fourth cycle and I'm over it now. I'm way too impatient for this.

I think what's made it seem more urgent is April to September would be the best time for me work wise and this month is my last shot at getting within that window Sad 4 cycles ago we naively thought it would happen first month Hmm

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 04/01/2018 19:34

@BaliBound this is my 6th! Also naively thought it would happen straight away. What a fool I was!

trippingoverrainbows · 04/01/2018 19:34

Hi Smile
Jumping over from the full Jan bus!
Age 30
TTC No.1
Cycle 1
Came off pill mid Dec and waiting (impatiently!) for AF

DaisyMay25 · 04/01/2018 19:36

Thought I'd join in
Age 26
TTC number 1
Cycle number 4 since mc in September (suspected ectopic)
So been trying 7 months altogether
I'm going insane though!

Bumplovin · 04/01/2018 19:37

@balibound he was just speculating he's the type of gp that likes to give long answers to questions think he was just thinking out loud :)

Owlpatrol · 04/01/2018 20:03

@Pixiedust25 congratulations!! Xx

Sorry to all those af come Flowers

Cd4 here.....cant wait for af to be over! Weirdly I've had some super odd cramps this month something else to add to the list lol.

I'll be joining the bus properly when Af has left x

OurNextAdventure · 04/01/2018 20:35

*hops on the bus and rings the bell

I was on the December bus but no baby dancing happened due to illness so we are staring this cycle....and I'm really excited (and so nervous too!)

About me;
34 (hubby 36)
TTC #1
Cycle 1
CD 4 (AF left yesterday....shortest period I've ever had; most unusual for me)
Will be charting temp, using CB digital ovulation sticks and logging everything on Fertility Friend app.

I had cervical cancer last year but it was caught super early (stage 1a1). Had a cone biopsy and consultant has given us the go ahead to TTC following my all clear. If we are lucky I may be a high risk pregnancy though due to short length of my remaining cervix (will most likely need a cerclage stitch)....but apart from that lol! If anyone else is in a similar situation do say hi!

Good luck everyone!

AF due 30 Jan

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/01/2018 20:58

@NelleB do you do your digital with fmu?

StickThatInYourPipe · 04/01/2018 21:01

Pixiedust25 woop woop congrats!! Cake

God I hate waiting for things, Sunday is my marker day, if no af I will be 11 days late, wouldn’t say I have any symptoms though which is worrying me slightly

cakeanytype · 04/01/2018 21:10

Honey cake 🍰... wht happened to the thread 😂

NelleB · 04/01/2018 21:19

@LookingAtTheStars89 not for the OPKs as it says between 12-8. Finally had a smiley face on the Clearblue ones though so that's made my day!

nk1605 · 04/01/2018 21:33

@OurNextAdventure welcome :) and great to hear you got everything cleared. I had CIN3 diagnosed early last year and had 2 rounds of LLETZ, horrible. Good luck for this month!

OurNextAdventure · 04/01/2018 21:40

@nk1605 thank you and good to see another lucky lady like myself here TTC......we surely deserve some happy baby dust! Fingers crossed for you (and everyone else too!)

LookingAtTheStars89 · 04/01/2018 21:44

@NelleB. Oh, on my cb ov instructions it says you can use fmu. I've also been testing twice a day with them...am I doing it wrong? :-/

surreygirl1987 · 04/01/2018 21:52

@lookingatthestars89 many thanks for the info re scan! I'm in surrey and wikl definitely do some googling - I agree that it's a small price to pay for a bit of reassurance!

jubbablub · 04/01/2018 22:29

Jumping over from the full bus.
Age: 31
TTC #1
Cycle 1
CD21.

Currently in the 2WW. AF is due on the 13th.

Trying not to symptom spot, but it is so hard!!!

I’ve been having a weird cramp feeling for three days and have spent most of the last couple of days feeling totally nauseous. I had a +ve OPK on the 30th and I don’t want to take a test until a week tomorrow in case it is too early. Keeping my fingers crossed though!

Bumplovin · 04/01/2018 22:30

@OurNextAdventure glad you got the all clear good luck this month x

OurNextAdventure · 04/01/2018 22:38

@Bumplovin thank you! And 🍀good luck to you too! Xx

Katsanddogs · 04/01/2018 23:02

Ironically I thought it would take me a long time to get pregnant but got bfp before I even got my withdrawal bleed! Shock ended in mc though so carrying on.

Congratulations on that bfp pixie!

EvangelineM · 04/01/2018 23:27

I'd like to join please!

  • I'm 33, husband is 34
  • ttc #5 for me #1 for him
  • using Flo app *AF due 19th

I only had the mirena coil out on the 7th of December after having it for the full five years, so I'm not holding my breath and I've no idea really how long my cycles are because of the coil, but we are DTD based on flo rough predictions and I'm hoping 😊

Good luck to us all!
