78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Hey future mum, we’re in the same boat. 40 and ttc :). Still waiting for a chainsaw massacre after stopping the pill in November. 😕 so have no idea what’s going on here. Had sore boobs for over two weeks now though so with a bit of luck things might be starting to happen! Good luck to you!

Thank you xxx still feel extremely overwhelmed! I have an appointment with the midwife this Friday. And then hopefully decide whether it warrants an early scan I guess. Being my first this is literally all new to me. Taking each day as it comes at the moment! Xxx how are you getting on? Xxx

Hope you don’t mind me joining. I’m in very early days still as only came off Cerazette 29.12.17. But after researching looks like I’m in for a long old wait before conceiving #1. Literally had nothing yet- when did you all get a withdrawal bleed? I am beginning to get what feels like period pains but they are on and off. Anyone tried ac or starflower oil?

I will give you the heads up that you will probably experience every pregnancy symptom under the sun in your first month coming off Cerazette. I did and I wish I'd known it was just my hormones and not a BFN. Fingers crossed for you. x

Still waiting for something to happen on day 50 something here! Different type of pill however. Got loads of pregnancy symptoms: boobs have been sore for 3 weeks, waking up to pee (I never do that but 3 times this week already), cramps, fluttering feeling, darker nipples, and vivid dreams when I don’t normally dream! All very weird but tests say no baby. It’s frustrating and worrying but it seems it happens to some degree to most people who come off the pill. Good luck. You may be one of the lucky ones whose cycle bounces back quickly.

2 days after coming off I noticed the tiniest amount of blood when whipping. But honestly think a pin prick would have produced more 😂

So...CD85 for me

I've had sore, heavy boobs and sore nipples for at least a week now. The last couple of days too I've thought my pee smelled awful (sorry, TMI) but it's a normal colour and I've no symptoms of any infection. I've had heartburn for the first time in my life yesterday, and I've just broken out in the worst spots on my chin. I also have constant low down cramps like af but not as bad. When I had the stringy EWCM last week I did an OPK which showed 2 lines but wasn't quite positive, and then got fainter over the following 2 days anyway.

I've had a BFN yesterday so can only assume I'm heading for a heavy period soon. Today's my birthday and I was so hoping for a 2nd line...what a present that would be!!

I've ordered Angus castus and just waiting for it to arrive so I can start using it!

For today you need to not think about TTC and enjoy your day! Are you doing anything fun?

Your symptoms sound very positive, but I'm no expert! A lot of women on here said their symptoms were like AF symptoms but then got a BFP.

Have you been eating asparagus? That makes wee smell!

I've ordered Angus castus too, hopefully should arrive today.

No I hate asparagus! Haven't eaten anything that usually causes a funny smell so just don't know.

I'm going to have a large or two tonight. Unfortunately I'm working today but DH has booked a lovely little restaurant for dinner later

Period arrived yesterday so I wasn’t pregnant. Just sad. Maybe next month.

Hey @futuremum - I know this will be no consolation to you now, but at least you are ovulating and you know your 'equipment' is working
I'm on CD84 with no whiff of a period yet. And from looking at your original post, this period has been pretty much 1 month to the day since your last AF so that is good
