78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Sorry to hear that @Futuremum. At least it sounds like you might be getting some regularity back, which is positive.

Still nothing happening with me. Most of the symptoms I had have all disappeared, I feel totally normal. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone btw....I had a lovely evening out and totally forgot about the crappiness that is TTC

Hi everyone - I said I'd update. Had my appointment this morning - ended up being my booking in appointment! So as my last period was end October they've dated me at 11 weeks. I asked whether it's normal for a test not to register positive until later on, and they said it's entirely possible, either that or o ovulated really late. So my "12 week" scan should hopefully be in the next week so that we can finally find out actually how many weeks I am!! Still feeling the same; bruised boobs, cramps are now very mild, and I'm extremely bloated. Also tired and having shooting pains in lower back which apparently could just be all the stretching going on!! Wish you all the best of luck and please please please do not give up hope if you having a long cycle. I was still testing negative at cd 70 odd!! Xxxx

@MrsW200 I am honestly gobsmacked. I cannot believe a pregnancy test would come back negative when you were so far gone. Utterly ridiculous! Which ones were you using out of curiosity?

I was using the cheap ones from wilkos before Xmas and I think had probably used a frer at some point during November. To be honest I was so used to seeing negatives and because so obsessed with testing I couldn't afford frers!! Then early January when I wrote on this thread I'd bought a digital one and frer as a last hope before booking a gp appointment - digi was negative. I thought I was imagining things and maybe saw very very faint lines on these cheaper strips before Xmas. It was the frer I used last Sunday which had the more obvious line. What I don't get it that I've had no real ovulation symptoms in December. I had some spotting when I should have ovulated in November so I do think there is a chance I could be further along than 5 weeks (which is what my head is telling me after all the negative early one). I just think it shows that either it can be weeks before you get a positive, or you can ovulate when you least expect it on a very long cycle. Xxxx

@SpadesOfGlory I put on this thread earlier on about googling stories of bfps after 60+ days. At the time I thought how ridiculous it was but now I guess there is truth in it. Please hold on to that hope when you start to get down about it. I felt miserable and really started to accept that after 8 months it was going to be a very long journey for us. Did you have constant boob-ache or were there gaps in it? I don't mean to be gross but have you been tracking your CM? What is it like these days? Sorry for the questions, I think I'm secretly just wishing I was preggo and had BFNs too lol!

I had a very similar situation I was on Microgynon 30 and change over to the patch in 2016 and in the June 2016 stopped the patch and I got to cd 132 till my first real AF came :( it was so frustrating, I know what it's like, however in the late November 2016 I started the pill again as we had a massive move. May 2017 I stopped the pill again and my cycles regulated straight away. 8th cycle TTC

@LifeOfRiley63 when it first started it was hard to notice, only when I was getting dressed, best way to describe is it felt like very mild bruising, so wasn't there all the time, in the last week it got slightly worse but it's not constantly there and it's definitely not agony. The cm, just "wet" really l, again nothing significant at all. I had imagined more symptoms in previous months!!! My cervix was quite high over last few months and although I know this shouldn't be used as a reliable indicator, it was the first time in 8 months it had stayed higher up for so long. I've had a lot of dreams lately too, but again I had put that down to ttc constantly being on my mind. Xx

It's just the fact that the tests were negatives up until last week. So that just makes me think I can only be 4/5 weeks. But then little things in November and December make me think maybe? And maybe lines I thought were very very faint, maybe were? I remember in mid November nearly gagging when I fed our dog because of the smell of the canned food. Sounds ridiculous I know but little things like that. I guess I'll know in a week or so! My partner is however convinced I've been pregnant the whole time!! Haha!!!

CD65 the cramps have pretty much stopped! Every now & again they start again for a bit. Nothing else to report - over and out.

CD86 and still nothing here either!

CD 64.... nothing here! Did a FRER this morning.... looked like an indent line I could see. Will test in a few days but not holding out much hope

Same here. Nothing happening. Tested but BFN. This not knowing is so awful!!!

I’ve decided to give cervix monitoring a try as coming off the pill is screwing up my body so badly that I’m not going to be able to tell when fw is without spending a fortune on sticks or this!
