Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

@nk1605 - I have personally found that MC has affected when I get dark lines on OPK - am getting them earlier too. But also having acupuncture so not sure if down to that. I tend to use clear blue digital and once I get a flashing smiley on that, test with IC's too. Same when I get a static smiley, I double check with IC's, poss twice a day

@bubblybrit. Hey :-) I was going to ping you earlier. Im cd 14 and getting faint lines on opk s so I imagine I won't ovulate for a few days yet. Your af/bfp due date must be coming up soon?

Thanks for the heads up about the cheap pregnamcy tests I've ordered some. Can I ask your opinion girls? I think I ovulated on the 27th we dtd for the few days before then 27,28 and going to try tonight (29th) Do you think we'd need to try the 30th too?

I'm 7dpo and had a few drinks tonight as well as a bit of soft cheese & cured meat 🤦🏻‍♀️ basically everything I'm not meant to but it's so difficult in France to avoid it, especially when friends are cooking! Fx it won't have any ill effect if I am pg...

Sorry AF got you @FrowningFlamingo. Google is the devil but its so hard to resist. I find myself googling the most ridiculous things "bunged up nose as pregnancy symptom" anyone?

I saw my nan tonight for the first time in a month. Shes had a rough year with lots of hopsital stays and poor health and I mentioned an off the cuff "when we have children....." and she said I hope you get on with it I want to actually meet them. I just wanted to reply we're trying nan!! But I don't want her to get excited. I hope this is our month, she'd be thrilled!

Same here BaliBound trying to stay sane and away from Google but damnit it’s so hard!!! Had a total crying meltdown today for no reason and felt slightly nauseous a couple of times but it’s probably too early for any symptoms at all and probably just my body reacting for finally having a little downtime after a super busy last few days :)

Must tape my hands and not to test early lol! Only 6 DPO today 🙈

@BaliBound I got a BFP this month and my main symptom was random 4 Day blocked nose and sore throat that appeared and vanished suddenly!

@sophherts I'm 8 dpo and have been eating and drinking alcohol as normal, its too hard to do otherwise I think as I find TTC a bit miserable anyway without denying myself nice things to eat and drink. I had some crampy pains yesterday which probably means am out for this cycle. Based on 28 day cycle I'd be due on 8th Jan but last month was 25 days so would be due on 5th. Feel a bit better about drinking tomorrow now I think I'm out!

@sophherts same and @tappitytaptap same. There is no way I would have survived this 13 months without wine and camembert. Diet is meant to start next week which I am trying to stay positive for but in reality wish I would be eating for two. I have a feeling I'm out now. Af type cramps are getting worse as is the sore boobs and nipples....unless it's those hcg hormones increasing one can only dream!

I've tried hard to not look at the infertility boards on here because I want to stay positive and I can't admit it to myself that we may need help. So not sure what trigger I'll need. I'm 30 in March so I think that will be it. I really wanted to be pregnant or had a bubba by now

I’ve tested at 7,8 and 9 dpo all negative... DP says a watched kettle never boils... think he might have a point, AF due 3rd so going to not test until then, starting to feel some cramps so think I might be out this month, we’re going away for NYE so that should take my mind off it!

Thanks @balibound - though it would have been the immaculate conception if it happened this month (how festive!) as we are starting from this period. Tried for a few months last year then stopped as my grandma was unwell and unfortunately passed away, plus our parents have been ill too. All in all, good riddance 2017! Hoping for a much better 2018, hopefully with a bump too! My grandad is 91 tomorrow and I'd desperately like him to meet his great-grandchild so I totally know where you're coming from about your nan. Fingers crossed for us both!

I've no idea when to take "ovulation" from as not been temping this month!

After my previous post I've just done an ovulation test. I have a line yay!! Extremely faint but a line is a line yay my little ovaries work (was worried after 8 year on pill and ruptured cyst) must be the start haha better late than never!

Can I ask an ovulation question here or will I get shot at

Af due tomorrow and by now I'm usually spotty and constipated (tmi sorry lol)

I'm new to the ovulation sticks .. never needed them .. jus did the deed n it took care of itself... however now I'm the ripe old age of 36 I'm struggling ... I miscarried two cycles ago n had a chemical in feb ... so I'm now trying what I can ... so ! ... have I ovulated? About too? I'm a little unclear ... sorry to any ladies who have lost too .. and congrats to any bfp ladies 😢😊

From my understanding the LH surge (when the line gets as dark as control like yours) happens just before ovulation
So you should ov within the next 24+ hours
If I was you I'd dtd morning,evening, Morning, evening, morning, evening (for 3 days) then go to once a day for 2 days and what ever you want to after that

I know it's a lot but it's best of if the sperm is already waiting for the egg

Ps that's my advice not official advice lol so if anyone disagrees please be nice lol
