January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

My cramps are getting slightly worse now so feeling af on its way....trying not to kid myself anymore. Did an ic this morning bfn at 12dpo so thinking I'm out! Spotting should be starting Sunday or Monday. Feeling a bit down now as really thought this was our month Sad

No sign of af or pregnancy

The only thing that's happened diff atm I've been getting ulcers in my mouth past week

@LostMyBaubles were here for each other then at least! Cramps are a bit different to usual. Only thing different for me is the vivid dreams every other night so not trying to think about it. When do you think your Af is due?

Just to say.. i also had BFN at 14dpo. I assumed i was out, til i was getting + opks a week later and then got the bfp. Fx for both of you xx

Jumping on! BFP due 6th Jan, Cycle 8. Cycle doing all sorts of crazy things, but hoping it is now back to normal & big 🤞 for a BFP.

Hi all new to mumsnet. Massive congratulations to all with BFP! I've just started TTC #1 and already driving myself insane. Is it normal to not get any lines at all on ovulation tests? There is the test line but nothing else no faint line at all? I'm on CD16 had no signs of ovulation yet :( TIA xx

@xLeannejn some ladies don't ovulated until cd20 so keep testing in the afternoon when the lh surge occurs Smile I knowing frustrating...keep dtd every other day if possible

@owlpatrol Thankyou for replying :) I'm New to it all so not sure what's going on or what to expect but I'm sending myself insane which I said I'd never do and not so early!! But suppose it gets us all now my heart is set on it. I'll keep testing, is afternoon the best time to test? Xx

@xLeannejn it was my first month in December I bought loads of ovulation tests and they were all negative and I was checking cm and I didn’t notice anything different either and I got a bfp today so I wouldn’t stress about it all too much just dtd as much as possible I think

Question for those using IC OPKs...has anyone got dark lines early on? Im CD11 now and from CD9 I've been getting consistently dark lines in the evenings. Though not positives (I don't think). When I test in the afternoons they are lighter (possibly due to liquid intake). I take it when you get a positive OPK that there should be no doubt over whether or not it is a positive?

I should add that I don't usually get a positive OPK until CD18/19. And I don't recall getting such dark OPKs this early in previous cycles. Can mc affect this?

@nk1605 ive never had a mc so can't comment however my opks are always like this or lighter until I get a definite positive around cd14 x

Thanks @Owlpatrol. Puts my mind at ease! Maybe I will OV earlier now. Hopefully, as my LP was borderline too short a lot of the time with a 28 day cycle.

I saw these last night @Fia256, but typically my prime membership has just ran out and I'd have to pay delivery!

Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on pregnancy test packs but still doesn't work out quite as cheap
