January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

@HoneyCake86 yay to cycle buddies again! And even down to having a +opk early too! I read that luteal phase is nearly always the same month to month so I guess it would just be an early AF or BFP - here’s to hoping it’s the latter!

CD10. Took my temp this morning and put it on my chart.
We dtd this morning.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is our month. DP is taking vitamin C, Zinc and vitamin D. I'm taking EPO, seven seas trying for a baby, vitamin C and fish oil.

If I get my BFP it'll be in the first week of the new year, what a great New Years present.

Good luck everyone. I'm dreading this Christmas as we're with my DP's toddler niece and baby nephew...then spending new years eve with my best friend and her new baby and another friend with her very new baby!

@SpongeCake23 great! I think the tww will be long but hopefully having Xmas in between will speed things up. How's your chart looking? X

CD7 today and still can't get passed those next cycle blues 😖 is it like this every month? I need my periods to move my ovulation is when my partners away each month as it stands I'm gunna have to delete this app if it doesn't sort itself out this month I'm so gutted I ovulated the right time last month and now it's looking like I won't have another chance till the summer. No 2018 baby for me 😔 x

@lauraxgirl sorry realised I didn't reply. I've read that a positive opk can be a sign of pregnancy but would only really be when Af due so I'd say you are ovilating late. I don't personally like the cb kits because they aren't reliable I prefer the good old internet cheapies. Just keep dtd every other day at least xxx fx

@Triskaidekaphilia. Yeah we Are just going so natural this month..i spent a while reading about conceive plus last night and it has bloody parabens in it! Parabens are known endocrine disruptors that can mimic estrogen. I can't believe I have been using lube for months! Maybe it has even interfered with my progesterone levels :-(

I had no idea they stuck crap like that in it. It's quite strange really because I had negative opk s all month and then we had a few days where we did have sex, and obviously didn't use the lube and bam - ewcm and ovulation on c22!. It may be a coincidence but maybe not.

@ImpatientMammy. Yeah im the same. I really wanted a Christmas bfp :-( especially after having the miscarriage in the summer. I've had a face like a smacked arse all weekend.

@SpongeCake23. What kind of fish oil are you using? What's does epo do? When in the cycle do you take it? Sorry lol questions.

@LookingAtTheStars89 I'm sorry your feeling the same (though I do feel less lonely knowing I'm not alone in this! sobbed at a baby on the telly just now apparently there's something called a mirena crash but maybe I'm just feeling a tad neurotic. I hope this is your month 🤞sending love x

Evening Primrose Oil increases CM and balances the hormones.

I'm just using standard omega 3 fish oil (not cod liver oil as it's been advised against when ttc). It's supposed to assist with fertility and general health.
They both: 'regulate hormones in the body, increase cervical mucous, promote ovulation and overall improve the quality of the uterus by increasing the blood flow to the reproductive organs.'

Ah thanks for that. Did you take the epo and omega 3 for the whole cycle?

@LookingAtTheStars89 I'm taking until ovulation or cycle day 14 if my ovulation isnt obvious or I'm not sure x

@SpongeCake23. What dosage have you got of the omega 3? I've been trying to research it and haven't found anything conclusive!

Well my temps dropped this morning I'm hoping that means post ovulation and that it should creep back up again fx. Need to stay motivated and distracted this tww x

Another + opk just as strong as yesterday but a drastic drop in bbt. No other ov symptoms either. What the....? think my body is having a laugh lol

@Honey my opk was neg today, when I tested other day it looked well on way to positive, unsure what to think! This month decided to dtd every other day all month long. Was going to do SMEP but have read so much about people simply not dtd enough throughout cycle. Also some people O twice in a cycle and this opk mystery has me thinking! also my bbt charts are always triphasic so maybe double O?

I suppose its possible @fruitandnutty... makes me wonder if that could result in...lol 2 eggs, 2 sperm = fraternal twins lol

I dtd 2 days then a day gap then another 2 days... this cycle is very unpredictable and confusing for me, the signs dont tally like they should. So i think this month for me will be just freestylin’ lol

Me and dh had a long, emotional chat in the middle of the night and we've decided that this month we aren't going to dtd every other day for the whole cycle. We've been doing that since the start of September and it's too much. It's making sex too mechanical and sucking the fun out of it.

We decided that over Christmas we are going to eat, drink and be merry and have sex when we fancy. Obviously I'm going to encourage it around my fertile period but I'm not going to make it obvious to him.

When I think about it logically, there's no real point, other than fun obviously, of dtd every other day for the whole month as some days in the month, we just aren't fertile!

Apparently im still pregnant! Ive lost huge clots bled for 6 days how is this even possible!!!
