Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today

Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

@emelsie. I’m on my second cycle using clearblue opk. If no luck this cycle then I’m going to do the same as you and forgot about poas for a bit! Opk stressing me out too much lol

@ImpatientMammy I have one from amazon from a brand called BabyMad it came in a pack with 20opk strip tests and was about £9. Seems to be working so far!

I was using an old one i had in the medicine cupboard but think its on the way out so i bought a new one. Waiting for it to be delivered xx

I got one with 10 opks and 10 pg tests for bout 7 quid off amazon. Not babymad a different brand x

@ImpatientMammy going ok! Cd9 today, due af 7/8th january. I'm secretly trying out the SMEP this month, haven't told DH what we're doing in case he feels too much pressure. Determined for a xmas miracle! How're you doing?

Ahh fingers crossed for you @sophherts I'm not entirely sure when my period was as it was sooo light. But I'm estimating that I'm on cycle day 6 hopefully I ovulate late OH is home on the 28th. I wish I could try SMEP it seems to have good reviews x

Im ok, af finally finished yesterday. CD8 today. Ill start opk’ing tomorrow. Im trying SMEP too. Due for my bloods this week so hopefully will find out where i stand on my thyroid levels.

@ImpatientMammy sounds like the opk's could be useful then if you had a light period? Fx your ovaries hold out til the 28th!

@bubblybrit. I've woken up feeling a bit deflated. You put in so much work during the month, I think we ended up having sex like 18 times! 18 times an no bfp to show for it. I'm thinking of switching back to just vitamin D and folic acid. Maybe the seven seas stuff buggered things up.

@sophherts. It still bums you out! Especially when I've already been pregnant this year and it happened quickly. Everyone said "you'll be more fertile after your mc" - Yeah right! To make matters worse, flo is so much heavier now.

@LookingAtTheStars89 agreed. We got pg first cycle and then mc and everyone said 'you're way more fertile after a mc'. Where's my bfp then?!

@sophherts same here what they don't know won't hurt them 😂 I'm so hungover today but think I'm due my lh surge later need to find the energy

@Owlpatrol ha ha poor DP's! And poor you with a hangover! Have a snooze and some pizza, that always sorts out my hangovers

I'm trying to put all my energy into losing weight, stop doing bloody opks and symptom spotting and just hope for the best, but I'm going to join anyway because I know I'll still probably end up testing obsessively mid-Jan. I was originally due around 2nd Jan but just had two periods 12 days apart both too heavy and painful to be spotting so now I'm due 13th Jan, 8 months since we started ttc funnily enough. But that's based on a 37 day cycle which is only my average as they're irregular, going to the doctor about that next week. Anyway, sorry to ramble.

Im hungover too. I've been lounging around all day thinking about how much I really do want a baby and we had a lovely chat about it all. We're really going to go for it this month. I so hope its our month

What vitamins is everyone taking? Do you think it's worth taking the vitamins or just the folic acid?

I'm wondering if the fertility lubricants are making a difference in a bad way?

Sorry for all of the questions. I always get on a massive downer on cd1, like I'm a bit of a failure fertility wise!

@LookingAtTheStars89 I'm on the seven seas conception ones because they're tiny and I'm rubbish at swallowing pills!

Ahh looking PMS is 1000 times worse since ttc. I read that fertility lube helps if your lacking fertile cm but isn't as good as fertile cm so if you don't need lube that day don't use it. Gross side note I used the applicator once last month and all the sperm stayed in till morning if you know what I mean 😳 could be a fluke though.
Vits can't do any harm I might swap as I only used folic acid last month and that obviously didn't work x

AF due new years day. Imagine if she didn't show up!!!!!

Well considering I'm hungover we dtd again today and got my positive opk. We haven't done enough deeds every other day this week due to work so I'm keeping everything crossed we've made it. I'm going to continue the smep this month and hope that missing one day last week won't matter xx

With the opks are you meant to release an egg 12-24 hours after getting a positive?

Im taking pregnacare. I know im not pg yet but meh. Gove the same stuff x
