January Bus - New Year, New Bumps Please!

Hi all

Thought I'd start January bus as spotting has started today Sad

Here's my stats

Age 29
Ttc #1
Cycle 13
Currently cd28 at due next couple of days
Next af/bfp due 4th January

Planning to do the sperm meets egg plan this month. Looking forward to af finishing already!

Morning all. CD14 here and we are trying to dtd every other day at the moment (not temping or using opks). DH feeling a bit delicate after a work Christmas do last night, so hope he doesn't fall asleep on the sofa by 8pm tonight and scupper our chances! Blush

goldenmommy imjust being silly I know little chance of the first time but still like an idiot counting days to af being finished and the ovu day lol

Lol I’m trying this temping crap but accidentally dropped the thermometer behind the bed this morning 😂 well let’s say it hasn’t worked out too well for me yet and only managed to remember 2 days out of 3... probably will try the opk as well just so I know all is working ok 👌🏻

I’m this obsessed now... what will one like in 2ww lol... I dread to think hahaha

How's everyone holding out? Anyone in their tww yet? I'm finding fw just as bad! So impatient waiting for this positive OPK! Hoping it comes tomorrow but only CD12 so worst case it will be the weekend. Baby dust

Cycle day 7 today, still dtd last night. Will start opk testing and temp charting from tomorrow.

CD6 today. Normally my period wouldve finished by now but still getting abit. Clots finally stopped so far so hoping its cleared everything from the cp so i can get back to normal. Hope everyone is good xx

Cd6 for me! Started temping on cd3 and I'll start with the opk's (the strip ones) in 2 days. First month trying temping and opk's!

Told DH this morning that I'm determined to get a bfp this cycle so he has to get ready to dtd a lot from next week! Poor dh...

laura, hope you get a positive opk soon. Have read that sometimes people test twice in a day in case of a short surge...seems quite complicated to me.

@CRZ1988 I've kept my eye on my RHR (I read the Fitbit Thread)
I find it a little confusing but as far as I'm aware you drop just before ovulation? And then you rise... then you drop again when AF arrives. I'm prepared to be completely wrong 😂

For some reason I can attach my graphs, will try in a new post....

But how is yours looking?

@lauraxgirl this is mine. The low steady ones were when I had AF.

It's been steadily rising since then. Ovia says this is the start of my fertile week and Sunday is my most fertile day but this is based on a 28 day cycle. This is my first cycle post cerelle.

I've had a lot of bloating and nausea for quite a few days now and I've had some twinges this morning that may be that I'm getting ready to ovulate. I'm going to an OPK over lunch this afternoon and see if it says any different. The last two I've done have shown a line but it's been quite light.

You seem to have regulated quite quickly to say you've only just come off Cerelle - I see lots have trouble for a little while!

They all seem like good signs and I'd be sure it was a sign of Ovulation coming up 😁 deffo do an OPK!!! Your app seems pretty spot on too!

It depends which OPKs you use - but I think it can sometimes just be that it's detecting it is on its way and the surge isn't strong enough just yet , whereas I've had ones where a faint/lighter coloured line than the test line is just a negative test.

I'm also apparently too new to post pics 😂

@lauraxgirl it's a mini pill so you're no long covered after 12 hours over missing your pill. You don't get a withdrawal bleed either. I feel pretty lucky but like said this cycle is based on 28 days. It might not be 28 days. I'm due AF on 01 Jan so I'll know then what sort of cycle I have hopefully.

OPK was light again but there is definitely a line and it's getting darker than they have been previously. FX it's a good sign!

No flashing as yet @LookingAtTheStars89. Getting a little impatient....not too sure if these OPKs are for me! More stressful than what I though lol. Ah how frustrating! Do you have any symptoms that flo is on her way?

@bubblybrit. Hmm, maybe they just don't work for everyone? I read that the lh surge can be somewhere between 25-50...whatever the measure is lol and I think clearblue is on the higher end of that scale, so if you never reach that higher level, I suppose it would never pick it up! I think that's why the cheap ones are better because they have a lower threshold.

No sign of flo really, every now and then I will get light cramping and then nothing lol.

@LookingAtTheStars89. Think I’m gonna try some internet cheapies as I’m starting to panic there is something wrong when it’s probably that I’m just missing the surge or levels too low to test!

Fingers crossed flo doesn’t make a appearance over the weekend. You still gonna test on Saturday?

@bubblybrit. Ah, I wouldnt worry just yet. Do you get cervical mucus? That can be a good indicator as to what going on. Yep still testing Saturday, well unless flo shows before x

I just did my first opk strip test at 6dpo, just to see, and there's a faint line. I know it sounds weird (and I know full well that unless the test line is as strong or stronger than the reference line it's negative) but it's nice to see a line on something!

I think I'll do one a day until they start getting stronger and then switch to two a day so I don't miss the LH surge
