Sorry to hear about the bfns @ek and @daisy, hope its down to early testing.
Still no af here but starting to feel symptoms of it so hopefully it will be here soon so we can get on with the next cycle.
There's lots of people with new babies in my town and it's been hard meeting them. I also got a reminder for my 12 week scan appointment yesterday so I had to ring and cancel it and I wanted to cry afterwards. I thought I was over the mc but I am obviously not. DH is finding it hard too and I think he would be happy to stop ttc. All in all, a shity week.

Eastend2015 · 12/01/2018 12:45

AF just showed so I’m out. A bit disappointed but I have the RMC appointment on 7th so just trying to keep focussed on the future. It’s also the first month of using a fertility app so I feel like I know my body better. Never really tracked cycle length or CM before. Onwards and upwards! FX for everyone still waiting!

Hollymchollyface · 12/01/2018 12:52

Sorry to hear that @Eastend. Onwards and upwards indeed

Boboelephant · 12/01/2018 13:45

Good luck @NoCatsHere
Oh @Hollymchollyface I'm sorry. That must have been really tough. Here's to a better next week/month!
So sorry af showed up @Eastend2015! I hope the RMC gives you some answers so the next time you get your bfp you end up with a beautiful baby.

ek78 · 12/01/2018 14:38

@hollymchollyface Those reminders are just so gutting - I'm so sorry you are going through that. My 'Baby on Board' badge for the tube arrived just after I had miscarried, as did pregnancy books I'd ordered and cancelling all of the appointments that were lined up was just awful. It is absolutely appropriate to have a little cry about these things, I'd be feeling fine and then something like that would just shatter me - but for me those moments have decreased in frequency as time has passed - so I hope it will be the same for you.

ek78 · 12/01/2018 14:40

@Eastend2015 Really sorry to hear that - but yes, onwards and upwards! I have found using an app really helpful.

Mimilicious013 · 12/01/2018 15:28

good luck @nocats
sending you hugs @holly, really sorry it's tough dear
am so sorry @eastend af has come. I think I might be getting mine tomorrow or Sunday ((sobbing ), I have been to the loo and have started spotting, really gutted. onto cycle 29
lts up to you @bobo @ek @holly @daisy to give us some good news. fx tx

ek78 · 12/01/2018 15:50

I’m out too! AF just arrived. Bah! Hoping for better luck for those still waiting...

Mimilicious013 · 12/01/2018 15:54

sorry @ek í¼í¼º

HoldTightPretendItsAPlan · 12/01/2018 17:42

Sorry ek and Eastend2015 Its just shit.

Boboelephant · 12/01/2018 17:50

Ahh sorry @ek78!! Balls!!!
Sorry about the spotting @Mimilicious013. Hopefully you're not out yet!
Our poor little hopeful group is dwindling and sadly I don't have high hopes for me although still wishing for a miracle!

ek78 · 12/01/2018 20:08

It sure is @holdtight. I had a cry, put on some comfy trousers and got a takeaway- oh and avoided my pregnant friend. Will dust myself off tomorrow.

Martydog · 12/01/2018 20:16

I think I will be here for the long haul as well

Eastend2015 · 12/01/2018 20:35

Boooo! Crap news everyone! Sitting here with my herbal tea watching Jane the Virgin. If only it was so easy!!

Cookiefiend · 12/01/2018 20:38

What terrible news from everyone! I'm sorry all. @Hollymchollyface I can't believe you had to cancel your appointments yourself- that was one great thing about the EPU here- they cancelled all the appointments and notified my midwife so I didn't have to. I was very grateful.

I hope you all have nice relaxing weekends planned.

Cookiefiend · 12/01/2018 20:41

Oh and I took another 33p test from Poundland at about 3pm- still very negative. Still no AF- loads of cramps, but I get that in the build up to AF and when pregnant so that means nothing either way. No real idea how long my cycle would be. It used to be 28 or 29 days, but I have only had two since getting pregnant in December 2012 as I've been pregnant and/ or breastfeeding since then. I've no idea how long my cycle will be.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 12/01/2018 20:43

I can't remember who is on Facebook and who isn't so sorry to repeat myself. Starting bleeding today so I'm hoping this is AF and it'll get rid of anything extra and it'll be a clean slate. God does my body like to keep things

BrokenBaubles · 12/01/2018 20:55

Get ready for TMI. Been bleeding all week like a period then this afternoon started to get painful cramps. Started to head home early and got a gush. When I went to the loo and passed a large clot. Since then a few cramps, which have stopped and the bleeding has slowed. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm hoping that my body's done what it needed to and completed the miscarriage.

Eastend2015 · 12/01/2018 21:00

Ahh unicorns let’s hope so! I had a similar-ish experience with my second miscarriage that went on for ages. I found it comforting (to the extent anything can be a comfort in our situation) that my body tried to absorb some of the pregnancy and take it forward for a future one- make any sense?

Eastend2015 · 12/01/2018 21:02

Baubles that sounds traumatic but yes, that’s exactly how my second miscarriage completed finally. How do you feel now?

Eastend2015 · 12/01/2018 21:06

Such a lovely supportive group on here. Thank you for all your supportive messages, especially bobo, that’s really sweet x

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 12/01/2018 21:08

@BrokenBaubles That's how my 1st one ended. Had a d&c (after passing a lot of clots initially which stopped beforehand), and a week later I passed about 10-15 biggish clots (there was A LOT of stored up blood, and then it finally passed and everything went back to normal

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 12/01/2018 21:11

@Eastend2015 It makes sense. It looks like mine had absorbed some of the lining going from the previous scan I had, so I'm thinking it's something similar to yours by the looks of it.

BrokenBaubles · 12/01/2018 21:11

I'm a bit achey but not in need of painkillers just the nice hot water bottle I've got. Hoping that it's over now.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/01/2018 21:15

Massive hugs to you @BrokenBaubles BrewThanks
