Just been to my Dd's first nativity and as soon as the music started up my eyes were streaming. Every time it gets to af time I feel that sense of loss and grief again. I was due on two days ago (may have ovulated late though) and the uncertainty of it is really getting to me.

DaisyMay25 · 12/12/2017 16:33

Congrats @TheGrumpySquirrel try not to feel so doubtful and enjoy it!
Also glad to hear that the scan went well @flatwhite

I tested yesterday although I shouldn’t have tested until tomorrow, I’ve been having symptoms but unfortunately no positive (I’m still hopeful as AF isn’t due until Sunday/Monday)

Eastend2015 · 12/12/2017 20:45

Just catching up- brilliant news grumpy!

Eclecticmama · 12/12/2017 22:26

Congrats grumpy brilliant news!

Fingers crossed for you

Eclecticmama · 12/12/2017 22:27

Sorry, meant to say: fingers crossed it's a sticky bean

Juancornetto · 13/12/2017 07:36

Massive congratulations @thegrumpysquirrel We're timing twins! I got a BFP yesterday. Also, cycle 7 after mc and trying since Jan - so nearly a year. I'm now 21 DPO though, got a BFN at 10 DPO and was too chicken to test again until yesterday.
Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy Smile

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/12/2017 07:56

Awesome news @Juancornetto ! Hope everything goes very smoothly and boringly for you xx

Congrats @Juancornetto!!

Im so annoyed with myself right now, convinced myself the spotting i had 6&7 dpo was implantation, felt like crap yesterday so took FRER this morn at 9dpo & Big Fat Negative, not even a squinter 😪. At this stage i should have had line i would assume if that was implantation. Feel hopeless

Boboelephant · 13/12/2017 08:45

Congratulations @Juancornetto! Hope this is a smooth sticky pregnancy!!
@di626 don't give up just yet. 9dpo is still very early and it might just take a bit longer to get your bfp. Fingers crossed for you.
I had my ERPC yesterday and am now trying to look forward and hope that it's third time lucky for us. The doc said it didn't matter if we got pregnant straight away without waiting for a period so here's hoping! Did others start trying again straight away after the bleeding stopped? I feel ok at the moment with very light bleeding but feel this might be the calm before the storm.

di626 · 13/12/2017 08:55

@Boboelephant thanks, just hard tostay positive. Yes id my erpc in september & started trying as soon as bleeding stopped though im not sure i ovulated that cycle!! Good vibes to you & hope you catch early 😊😊

Boboelephant · 13/12/2017 09:04

Thanks @di626! Yes I know how hard it is to stay positive! Took us 9 months to get a bfp which ended in this MMC and I remember testing too early and too often every month. I really hope this is the month for you! 🤞🤞

Eastend2015 · 13/12/2017 09:14

Congrats juan!

bobo glad the ERPC went well. My bleeding was also very light after the procedure but went on for a couple of weeks so was rescanned and told I still had “pregnancy material” to pass. A couple of days later passed a final clot and that was it. We started TTC immediately and conceived DS about 6 months later. While I feel like i’ve seen enough blood to last s lifetime I guess it’s the only way that part of the body can clean itself so all part of the process [sigh].

Eastend2015 · 13/12/2017 09:21

Feeling quite down today, heading in to work and will be glad of the distraction. Tried Christmas shopping yesterday and failed miserably. Had lunch with a friend who found out she was pg a week before me and found it hard to be happy for her (I’m such a miserable cow). I’m sure i’ll feel better when the bleeding stops but it’s still relatively heavy at the moment. I can’t even get through to the EPU to book my scan to confirm everything has gone.

Boboelephant · 13/12/2017 09:36

@Eastend sorry you're having a tough time. I'm sure you're not a miserable cow! I think it's totally normal to feel low when other people are pregnant and you want to be. Even when you are happy for them. It still sux for us! Especially when your loss is so raw. Big hugs!
Oh I hope there is nothing left. She scanned me after and said it was all gone. I found it pretty painful so don't think it was anywhere near happening naturally. Had they told you first it was all gone?
I hope you get through to your EPU soon x

Eastend2015 · 13/12/2017 10:13

Thanks love. Just need to throw myself into something else.

I’m sorry it was painful for you- I hope I didn’t mislead you. It was a bit of a special case for me- I waited 3 weeks to miscarry naturally but nothing happened so then went in for ERPC, then bled lightly for another 1-2 weeks I think then passed a final clot which didn’t hurt but just was a bit of a shock. I’m sure that won’t be the case for you and your recovery will be much quicker. That’s why i’m glad my body at least is dealing with this on its own- fingers crossed anyway!

NoCatsHere · 13/12/2017 12:49

Congrats juan excellent pre Christmas news...come on everyone keep the wonderful preggo news coming!

I'm only 3dpo and obviously symptom spotting already which I know is actually crazy, I need distracting!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/12/2017 14:24

I feel completely normal.. didn't get symptoms till 5/6 weeks last time so trying not to stress!

di626 · 13/12/2017 16:52

Ladies, coming in with total random tmi!! Do any of you (or heard of it) spot from vag after a bowel movement in days leading up to AF & no other spotting? This happens me every month whether bfp or bfn!!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 13/12/2017 18:20

@di626 I've heard of it. Technically (depending on how close to AF it is), it would make sense as there'd be... a lot of pressure there and whatnot. Has it always been like that?

In other news I'm braving it without a pad as it seems to be that minimal now. Sadly I guess we can't ttc for another week or so still

Daffodil77 · 13/12/2017 18:35

Just catching up. Congratulations @Grumpy!! I thought you were having a cycle off though 😉

@JuanCornetto think I've already said congrats but I think it's exciting enough to say again!!

Sorry to all the new joiners. None of us want to join a thread like this, but if you have to, this is a lovely supportive one.

@Unicorn I'm pleased things are clearing up a bit now. How are you doing? X

I'm 8dpo and already convincing myself I'm out. Good job I'm on holiday and don't have anything to pee on!

voxnihili · 13/12/2017 18:44

Congratulations Flat, Juan and Grumpy.

I had my doctor's appointment today. This last week has been awful. I'm having nightmares where I wake up having relived the miscarriage and am getting bad palpitations. I cried to the doctor - she said she could tell how anxious I was. She has referred me for an early scan, but she isn't sure if I will qualify as it has only been 1 mc. I've also had to register for the maternity services - I didn't want to as felt like I'm tempting fate but I know I have to for the sake of the baby, if there is one.

Tomorrow marks the date I got to in my last pregnancy. If this one lasts, I'll be 12 weeks 2 days before my original due date.

Flatwhite32 · 13/12/2017 21:03

@voxnihili I totally get your anxiety. So bloody lucky to be pregnant, but I cried all the way through my midwife booking appointment today. I couldn't cope with her acting as if this pregnancy is going to be fine, and mentioning lots of future dates, scans etc. I'm not even interested in the due date. I just don't want to hear any of it right now.

Boboelephant · 13/12/2017 22:03

@voxnihili and @Flatwhite I'm so sorry you're both feeling so anxious. I can't wait to be pregnant again but am pretty sure it will be a highly stressful time!
How far along are both of you? Tomorrow must feel scary for you @vox, I hope you have a good support network around you. I think you should defi get a scan if GP made referral. I have only had one MC too but EPU put in my discharge letter after my ERPC yesterday that I should come in at 7 weeks for any future pregnancy.
I really hope you guys get to feel some relief soon. 🤞

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 13/12/2017 22:41

@Daffodil77 I'm doing okay. Just bopping around and trying to work up the courage to go back to work (sounds a bit pathetic), so I think I'll go back Friday so then if it is a bit too much then at least I'll have the weekend to recharge before doing a full week. Really I just don't want the questions and to listen to customer complaints when it's so fucking insignificant to everything else in life. Basically I'm a ball of anger and jealousy with is a grand combination

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/12/2017 22:57

@UnicornsandRainbows1 I'm sorry that things are so shitty right now. Thinking of you. What an you can treat yourself with this weekend?

My dh is recovering from flu and my dd has just vomited everywhere. My house is a bloody germ filled hazard. Terrified of getting sick.

I'm testing again in the morning- a little nervous
