Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
• Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
• Thou shall not be offended by strong language
• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

I had a Small bit of pink spotting yesterday, cd20 ffs (6dpo ish). Back in the olden days I’d have got excited about that being possible implantation bleeding, but as I have had the same before (albeit not quite so early), I know it’s just incoming AF. Balls to it. Bring on the festive inebriation!!!

I feel horribly low. Been trying almost exactly a year and it turns out that Christmas is a fairly rubbish time to not have child/be pregnant when you desperately want them. Just spent an hour or so with a lovely family and watched the kids run around in their Christmas pjs and put out snacks for Santa and his reindeer.

justme :( it sucks doesn’t it. Sending you hugs. I’ve started spotting Brown this evening so I’m definitely out. Was kind of hoping that af would be a few days late like it has been the last few months but of course, with it being Christmas Day tomorrow, it’s bang on time. Just another example of how much my body hates me 🙄

I'm so sorry people are feeling shitty now. I'm 8/9 dpo and will test because booze but I don't have the mad hope anymore. Bfn will be no surprise and an excuse to drink my own body weight in prosecco when we get home from dinner with family.

Truly hoping af leaves you all alone this month. I don't suppose she will me but hey ho. Dad came out of hospital after his second set of cancer treatment yesterday and is feeling good, so I spose I'm looking at other things and less focussed on ttc than I was. I've been posting a bit less but still lurking.

Anyway. Merry Christmas to all yammers, here and everywhere.

Hope you had a great Christmas!

I ate a lot of Brie and drinks lots of prosecco and champagne.

I'd like to take a moment to thanks my MIL who made me feel like shot by pointedly saying that my husband cousin (who got married a couple of months after us) are having a baby.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Lucky for me, my period did show up with a lovely new symptom of a very upset stomach which ruined my Christmas morning and prevented me from eating any of my Christmas dinner. All of which was made better by spending my evening with my very pregnant sister complaining about being pregnant and family members going on about the nursery and birth plans and my mum bringing out some bibs with “I love my mummy” and “I love my daddy” and her going on about a granddaughter charm my sister got her. I only nearly cried twice though so that was a result. Oh and to top things off, my period, which I thought was getting a little better, was pathetic even by my standards. Usually it’s heaviest and red(ish) on day one. Instead all I got was about half a teaspoon’s worth all day and it just looked like muddy water.

Here’s hoping for a better Boxing Day!

Omigod I'm going to scream! I can literally feel myself ovulating. EWCM the lot and DP can't get it up. Of course I'm saying "don't worry. It doesn't matter" but it does matter. It's our last go before I get pumped full of IVF drugs and I want to scream and cry. Why tonight? Urgh. Can't say it to him so I'm saying it to you.

I'm officially into the 1ww and doing the desperate balancing act of symptom spotting and telling myself firmly there's no chance. I know I'll be gutted on weds anyway. Feel so bloody fed up with it all. I've even started looking into acupuncture (I know, I know!) but feel like that'll be a massive waste of wonga and I should just give up.

@WonkyDonk87 good luck staying strong this week. I'm halfway through a cheeseboard and there's only 1 bottle of Prosecco left in my fridge. To be fair I feel like a hippo but that's January's problem. Hoping AF is done soon as its DH Birthday on Sunday and it might be nice to dtd for fun!

Good luck @wonky 🤞 I’m starting acupuncture in the new year- I’m sceptic about the whole thing but at this point I need something to cling on to. It’s bloody expensive so will only be able to have 6-8 sessions. I’m going with an open mind...

Oh and good luck with acupuncture @WonkyDonk87! I have heard good things. I have had two reflexology/reiki sessions & got another booked - feeling good that I am doing something different.

Was there a whole chunk of posts about keeping your body warm? I have new fleece slipper-boots and an amazing fleece-lined bodywarmer which I found in the sales the other day. Maybe staying cosy will be the key?!
