Part the third:

Welcome all anti-fertile fuckers! This is our clique for those trying longer than 6 cycles and are pretty fed up.

Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

  • Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
  • Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
  • Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
  • Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
  • Thou shall not be offended by strong language
  • Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
  • Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

Our spreadsheet which includes what supplements (and potatoes) we are trying in our journey to motherhood.

Well done ladies - yams to the rescue - for defending the awful troll! I can't actually read the comments but can imagine, what a bitch!

Ohhh I saw a yam emoji today! 😂

Steaksauce · 05/12/2017 23:05

minime2017 · 06/12/2017 07:51

Impressive thread defending ladies - I applaud you all 👍 and have sprayed my tea everywhere reading yam suggestions😃. My fav is throwing them at waste of space trolls!

DoAsDreamersDo · 06/12/2017 08:38

Wow, missed the troll last night! From some of the comments made, she sounded delightful!

and I'm laughing at all the things that we should be doing with Yams Grin

No AF here yet but it won't be "late" until after tomorrow as I have had a cycle that long once before. Feel terrible today, sore boobs started last night (not had those for a couple months) and I keep getting cramps.

I haven't been drinking enough water recently after a few months of being great with it so I suspect that is a big part of the difference, plus I forgot my vitamins for three days in a row.

Had a big heart to heart with DH about TTC and for the first time I felt like he really understood how shit it feels. He has offered to get a SA done as he thinks it's less invasive for him than all the tests I'd have to get, so better for him to get tested first and see if that's the issue.

Bubblegum89 · 06/12/2017 09:20

Oh that’s good news micropig glad he’s finally going to try and get his SA done :)

I’m cd10 today (I think, I’ve deleted all my apps but pretty sure AF started last Monday) and I’ve been getting loads of cm last couple of days, I keep thinking I’ve wet myself and it only gets like that when I’m ov’ing as my cm gets very thin and watery and there’s loads of it. But every time I’ve checked, it’s very white and lotiony still.

I’ve been having pulling twinges in my right ovary area since yesterday and just now walking to work, it was really strong for a minute or so. I don’t understand, I sometimes get twinges when I’m ovulating (not always though) I have ov’d early before, it was on cd12 instead of cd14 so I’m assuming it’s that but I’m confused as to why my cm is still non-fertile cm. I’m not doing opks this month nor am I dtd on specific days as I’m having a break from ttc so if it IS ovulation then it’s okay if I missed it. Just not sure why so early and why my cm is so very white, it’s like Simon Cowell’s teeth white, it’s usually more an off-white just before and after I ov. Any ideas? Am I officially broken?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 06/12/2017 10:00

Would anyone mind me posting aboit my dc infected Ear piercingto see if any of you can offer any advice? I tried to do a new forum post and it disappeared.

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 06/12/2017 10:04

Please ignore me, managed to post. Sorry xxx

micropig · 06/12/2017 11:17

@Bubblegum89 never really checked CM so can't help you there but "like Simon vowels teeth white" gave me a laugh!

micropig · 06/12/2017 11:18

*cowell, you knew what I means!

NimbleKnitter · 06/12/2017 17:05

Bubble I'd add some omega 3 to your diet - it massively sorts out CM issues.

Not saying you have one, but worth trying to see if it makes a difference

Bubblegum89 · 06/12/2017 17:19

I already take omega 3,6,9, is that the same thing? It’s a combination rather than just omega 3 on its own so maybe it’s not as effective..?

NimbleKnitter · 06/12/2017 18:33

Nah, same thing.

Maybe mention it when you go to clinic. Forget about it for now though - December is freebie month x

SoozC · 06/12/2017 18:39

I'm an idiot. I really don't want to get my hopes up after my mc and I'm only 3dpo, but I am totally symptom-spotting and noticing my symptoms at this early stage are very similar to last cycle.

Why can't I just stop?!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 06/12/2017 18:48

I am not taking any supplements other than folic acid. Should I be taking othet things? Should I be using ovulation sticks? Having acupuncture? Standing on my head?

Are there things I could be doing?!

I'm feeling so disheartened possibly as I've booked a gp appointment it feels like the next step is here.

QuietTime · 06/12/2017 18:51

Also arrived late to the troll party - glad I did by the sounds of things. Thank you fellow yammers for being awesome.

sooz don't beat yourself up - so many of us do it. Lately I've been fine initially but every time it gets to about 3 days before period is due I have an obsessed day or two when I notice everything. Even when I know I'm out, there's still a tiny bit of me that's...but what if...piss myself off.

So there seems to be a marching brass band playing Led Zeppelin's 'Kashmir' outside my office. It's so un-Christmassy it's hilarious...

Bubblegum89 · 06/12/2017 21:19

You’re not an idiot Sooz I don’t think it matters how long you’ve been ttc, you can’t help but symptom spot. I still do it even now and I’m always the one telling other people not to do it. Fingers crossed for you Flowers

I’m so annoyed, I asked my GP to change my address as I’ve recently moved house and didn’t want my referral letter to be sent to the wrong place. Luckily my sister moved into our old address and just handed me a load of post and one of them was the referral letter! They sent it on 20th November and I’m just annoyed because if they’d sent it to the right address, I’d have been able to make my appointment quicker. Oh well. Anyway, I managed to get my initial appointment booked for 19th December which is amazing, thought it would take so much longer for my initial appointment . I had loads of clinics to choose from but I went with Liverpool Women’s rather than my closest one because the waiting times were much shorter. I’m a bit anxious about what to expect but so glad I’m making some kind of progress. Ish!

Si1ver · 06/12/2017 21:54

That's great news @Bubblegum89 19th Dec is only days away!

Dandelion89 · 06/12/2017 22:03

Bubblegum89 that’s great. Hopefully you can start the new year on a positive note.

Bubblegum89 · 06/12/2017 22:04

I know, I’m made up. I was thinking I’d be waiting until the new year for an appointment. The average waiting time for treatment there is 17 weeks with a maximum of 18 weeks which is great. The not knowing is the thing that I hate the most at the moment so will be good at least to find out what’s wrong if nothing else

Dandelion89 · 06/12/2017 22:16

Yes being in limbo is very frustrating. It’s good that you managed to book an appointment soon too. I’m pleased for you.
