Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
• Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
• Thou shall not be offended by strong language
• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

AF is due Monday but I'm not hopeful this month

My Fitbit RHR definitely indicates when AF is here. Yesterday it dropped from 77 down to 75 (and it never drops that low! I'm usually between 77 and 80) and then AF showed up in the afternoon. It's dropped every month either the day before or on the day that AF arrives. it also tends to be a bit higher when I think I ovulate too.

AF has just fucking turned up. Again.

Did you get a decent amount of red, bubble?

I still haven't ovulated, it needs to happen today or I need to move my progesterone bloods. Had acupuncture this morning so I'm hoping that will do something!

Grumpy not really, no. First lot was dark brown. Second lot was dark red then had a smaller amount of dark red a couple of times and then yesterday had a tiny amount of dark brown. Whole period was probably about 6 teaspoons worth in total (did a little experiment with water last night haha) not great really.

Also that happened to me. Finally booked my blood tests as I was ov’ing same day every cycle and that one month was the most the month I ov’d 6 days later than normal so had to rearrange the tests. Hopefully you’ll be ov’ing soon!

So what's next steps for you, will they do another ultrasound? It does sound like your periods are not normal.

I’m waiting for an appointment at a fertility clinic (not holding my breath for a quick referral though) and after the initial appointment, I’m hoping to get a HSG. I’ve had two US in the last year and they’ve both been conflicting so need something a bit more definite. I’ve heard though that that make you wait ages between appointments so I could be waiting months for the initial one and the have to wait up to 6 months or so for a HSG which sucks.

What does acupuncture do? I’ve seen a lot of people talking about it, does it help with fertility?

Acupuncture is supposed to help. I know @TurquoiseDress had success with it, and some others on here.

Going back a bit, I did mention the spotting to gp after my m/c but they basically dismissed it.

Af can do one. At the end of my rope with this for now. I hope everyone else is feeling more positive and the witch stays away for those still waiting.

Grumpy a HSG is where they inject a dye into your tubes through your cervix then scan you to see where the dye is. If your uterus and tubes are clear, it should flow through easily and be picked up on the scan. If there’s any blockages or scarring, the dye won’t flow through easily and so the scan will show parts of it that the dye hasn’t managed to get to. I think my tubes are blocked so an HSG will be able to tell me if they are or not :)

@Bubblegum89 I also have mostly brown, very light periods since my surgery for my mmc in 2015. We haven't been trying continually since then, we've had some big breaks, and I've had an ectopic and a chemical. I'm also concerned about damage from the surgery. I'm properly feeling like giving up today, I'm just fed up.

I’ve been lurking for a long time but never joined but today I’ve had enough & need to talk to other ladies in this terrible situation.
Some background info on me - Im 36, i have 2 gorgeous DDs (7&5), I had a miscarriage 3 yrs ago, last June we lost our wee man at 4 days due to complications at birth & last November I had a chemical. We’ve been trying for a full year now & have been on letrazole for 5 months now. Dh has sent a SA off & we’re waiting on results. AF due next Monday & since Monday I’ve convinced myself that I’m pregnant (sore boobs, tired, running today loo a lot) I normally get spotting for 5 days before af but none so far, so I tested this am & a blank ff! 😪 I was so sure!

On day 20 of my cycle...got heavy and quite painful boobs, plus slight cramping low down. Feeling quite tired but I didn't sleep well last night. Could just be AF coming early!

I’m 37, ttc number 1, and AF is due on Sat, and just starting to rock up with some preliminary pink spotting. think I’m about to start cycle 12 (ffs) but tbh have tried to give up counting 🙈. Am really gutted this time as we totally DTD on the best days, and for the last 4 days I have had sore boobs (which I never get) and even felt nauseous yesterday (never happens usually) so I stupidly got my hopes up...

Have had day 3 and day 21 tests, and a pelvic scan, all fine. DH now needs to do a SA so we can proceed with a referral.

I’m fucked off with the whole thing tbh.

Sounds like a few of us are at the point of getting referrals - my GP appt is next week. Need to carb-load before (and maybe wear some heavy shoes) to make sure she doesn't go on about my weight (sorry, I know that sounds like a dick thing to moan about - it's a family thing, am not intentionally skinny)...

And DH has gone away for work as FW begins - just peachy (though maybe a break's for the best)
