Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

• Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
• Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
• Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
• Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
• Thou shall not be offended by strong language
• Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
• Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

pina I literally don’t give a crap now lol I’m just going to shag in my fertile week and then just forget about it. I know that there is some truth in relaxing as stress is a huge factor in conceiving so in that respect, I’m just going to not care anymore. It either happens or it doesn’t. Hopefully your positivity pays off! I can’t remember if you said that you were going to start fertility tests or not? Or was that someone else?

Also I started a thread for newbies with some advice because I cba seeing all the stupid questions being posted all the time. I’ll probably get a bunch of people coming on it to tell me I’m wrong but ho hum

Bubblegum89 I've also been trying for about a year but I think the tww is all about possibilities! I must be preggo given all the shagging until AF tells be different! Then I take a another vitamin and just say it'll be my month this month.

Sick of nurses and docs and bosses looking at me like I'm broken and about to breakdown because of yet another test.

Seriously though - it’s because I’m embarrassed how little I knew when I started this, and the lack of education on this worries me.

Truly - if I’d known, I’d have at least thought about starting earlier and saving myself some heartache. Even if I’d still waited, I’d have chosen to wait knowing how difficult it is.

People spreading misinformation based on anecdotal experience is unhelpful. So yeah, I piss on a lot of chips!

I mostly stay off those threads these days as they give me the rage, but Nimble you have a good point. I’ve done this before, at 32, but throughout my 30s might’ve asked such dumb questions because I just didn’t know anything. The odd ‘my sil got a bfp at 67dpo hun’ posts do not help anyone, the tww is agonising enough. Makes me wonder about sex / repro education. I’ll be explaining to DD in much greater detail.

Haha thanks nimble honestly, I didn’t know anything when I started ttc and I wish I had had someone just go “listen, this is what you can expect” instead of spending the first few months going stir crazy over symptoms lol

peaches I think the problem with tww symptoms is it only sets you up for disappointment. I’ve been there lol the first few months every symptom was a pregnancy one. I would get so excited that the fall was much harder when af showed up. I’ve learnt now just to relax and not obsess over every little thing. If I’m pregnant, I’m pregnant and if I’m not then I’m not and no amount of stressing will change it

Also, this time last cycle, I would ovulated. Got my surge the day before. So figured I better check what’s going on and not even got a hint of a second line on my opk yet. I don’t think I’ve ov’d already because I’m only cd11 and had no line yesterday. My opk’s usually start with a faint line, positive within a day or two then faint lines again for another couple of days. I would have had to ov in cd5 or 6 which obviously I wouldn’t have. I’m so confused with what is going on with my body!! I have to plan sex really carefully as oh works nights and my daughter is here pretty much as soon as I get back from work. Ovulating different times every month is getting annoying

Rhi AF is due in 8 days and I’m torn as to whether I should test on Monday or leave it to see if she’s late or not...

I've got no sodding idea when my period is due as it'll be my first post miscarriage. I started my surge on 29th October, so I guess I ovulated on 1st I'll test on 13th if nothing has happened by then.

I said i wasn't going to do any symptom spotting but today i checked my fitbit for an increase in resting heart rate. i am a fool, its exactly the same.

I should test on Thursday, I've spent the last 3 days in tears so I'm assuming getting ready for af! Grr!

@Justwaitingforaline my first bfp with DS was at 11dpo but last time (mc) it was 3 days after af was due.

@Si1ver my period post miscarriage came at cd36 (cd1 was first day of mc bleeding)

My symptom spotting is OUTTA CONTROL this month (usually I am good at ignoring everything) as is my testing habit which I say every cycle I will not do then I go and buy more FRER and get negatives 😑 FFS! 10dpo tomorrow but I could be 8... I think I had stabbing/tugging cramps all afternoon Monday and some tonight.

I am going to get a doc appointment to start investigating what’s going on if this cycle doesn’t work. Will be 1yr TTC in Dec. Edd of my mmc baby was 10 Dec which is also next af date potentially, after this one 😔

I tried to DTD for fun last night as it was my wedding anniversary and I freaked out and started crying hysterically. My poor husband was appalled. He is never going to want to have sex with me again.

@Si1ver I freaked out 1st time after mc, hid in bathroom after, I felt kind of guilty?! Still have a little cry now and it happened in June. Be kind to yourself x
