Welcome all anti-fertile fuckers! This is our clique for those trying longer than 6 cycles and are pretty fed up.

Here are our Fucked Off TTC Commandments

  • Thou shall not arrive one day and post BFP next day
  • Thou shall not give advice to other when TTC for one month only
  • Thou shall not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
  • Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
  • Thou shall not be offended by strong language
  • Thou shall not tell everyone to eat yams
  • Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night

Well this week I have so far been too busy to even think about ttc! OH away at the critical time so not so much a ttw as just waiting for the next cycle to begin.

Had someone joke that I wasn't lifting because "will there be the patter of tiny feet soon?" It was fine and part of blokey banter but there's always a twinge as you laugh it off. Bleurgh.

I just realised in the stats it says what supplements were taking.

I'm taking folate (instead of folic acid) as part of a prenatal due to potential MTHFR issues.

Feeling really sad tonight. Had to speak with MAIL about how 'wonderful' it is that SIL is accidentally pregnant. I just can't be fake. Been wide awake since 2am. I should be tired but I'm not. I'm missing my DH like mad and don't want to go to bed because thats when I feel most lonely.

Had a huge wave of feeling sick today not sure what caused it but annoying colleague was like 'oh you're not pregnant are you?' no love my husband isn't in this fucking country....

Just wanting a moan and a hand holding really

Waiting for AF to start and someone I know just sent DH a text to say their baby was born today, with a cute pic for good measure. Happy for them but gutted for me.

@Mrsjones17 I'm sorry this is so hard. Is it always this rubbish when he gets deployed or is this worse because of the TTC? I hope you got some sleep in the end. Damn the SIL. Probably bollocks and they've been secretly trying for ages ;)

Morning all. Woke up and had a little check of fb as you do and someone had put up a status about a woman they know, who has 6 kids all of them in care due to severe neglect, who has just had her 7th baby in almost as many years. Ugh. How is it fair that is women would give everything to have a baby, even just one, yet there are scumbags out there that can pop one out whenever they want even if they’re absolute shitshows of parents?

juney sorry to hear af is on her way :( I’ll be in the same boat come Friday.

Really hoping DHs friend with the new baby is too happy and busy to want to meet up with us too soon. I'm so happy and love babies but I can't deal with it right now. Hopefully they decide they'd like to meet up at a time in my cycle that I'm not in the TWW or just started AF. Or even better, if I had just got a BFP!

Actually had a realistic nightmare last night that I'd gone to the toilet and AF had arrived. I have white sheets ATM and wasn't wearing anything so when I woke up I panicked a bit but she has not made an appearance yet. She was due yesterday or today, but the cycle before last was 40 days instead of 35 (40!!!! 😡) so I will not be getting my hopes up till Tuesday.

I'm 3dpo, yesterday I had proper cramping, what is that about? It seems to gave gone now anyway.

I was messaging with a friend of a friend yesterday because she wants to buy a toy I'm selling, then she randomly felt the need to ask if I have other children. Why WHY?? I said a second has not been forthcoming and she went quiet then just said see you next week (to collect the toy). Honestly people are so thoughtless. Right now I'm fairly ok and it hasn't affected me too much but there are days I would be a sobbing mess because of that. Hopefully she'll think harder next time.

Bubblegum I also know a family like that, and it infuriates me. She has fallen pregnant with 3 partners, had 5 kids taken into care and is merrily pregnant 5 mins after she met her latest bloke. As far as I know SS are involved already. Terrible for the babies, but it’s what makes me SO angry when people tell me it’s not the right time or losses are it wasn’t meant to be now.

Cm drying up today. Which means I’ve probably missed it. Dtd twice over the weekend but bit worried wasn’t enough. Grr.

Juney I had things so crossed for you, really sorry. I hope today is a suitable wine at work day. Maybe not before 11 though WineWink

limplettuce micropig I know a girl younger than me (about 25) who has 6 kids. She’s had her two eldest taken off her by SS and she just had a hysterectomy and kept posting statuses about how she is just SO fertile and can’t stop getting pregnant. Sigh.

Anyone else get cystitis during their tww? I’ve always had a problem with it but it’s recurrent so comes and goes on a daily basis but it seems to happen more in week 2 of my tww even though I’ve not been having anywhere near as much sex. I’ve had it on and off since Monday now and I’m in agony with it today but I’m stuck in work. I don’t know if it’s hormone related or I’m just unlucky lol

OH has been to drop his sperm sample off this morning. All I could think of on my way to work was “wow, he’ll be cracking one off right now” Grin oh the things we do.

@bubblegum89 have you been to the doctors about your recurrent cystitis? I used to get it a lot but it was mainly due being too shy to ask to go to the toilet at school and holding in wee for too long (lol). I've only had it twice in the ten years since I left school and both times I was caught needing a wee far away from a toilet haha, or because I'd been lying in bed too long putting off going to the loo (We lived in a very cold house!). I also have never drank enough water really and when at school I was so scared to go to the loo with the cystitis that i drank even less, which inevitably made it worse.

However having had it so often I have read up about it and I think it can be linked to your cycle. I suppose you know this already, but please drink LOADS of water, it will filter out your urine and make it a lot less painful at the very least. Its really the main thing that will help. Some of the medication for it isn't great for early pregnancy too so if you do go to the docs, remind them you are TTC.

Sure you know all that anyway though, don't wanna come across as patronizing or anything haha (And i don't think yams will help :P ).

I am in a fowl mood today. I was telling my DH not to go telling other people about his mates new baby as some couples want to tell certain people themselves. He was laughing about how touchy those couples were and I got really angry for some reason, told him to 'FUCK OFF THEN!!!' and stomped off and slammed a door. Haha what a cow!!

He came through and gave me a cuddle after lol.

I've been eating loads of Haribo this last week, I don't normally eat much sugar (Other than fruit) as it gives me major mood swings, and always seems to make my PMS much much worse. I've been mainly off processed sugar for ages now but I've been on two holidays this month and eaten loads of it. Seeing that staying off sugar is probably for the best for me and my poor DH lol.
