Grumpy fingers crossed for you!

Hiya NoCats it's good to take a break from Interwebs. I did that recently.

Glad the procedure went okay Weasledee, hope you're resting up.

Have a great holiday, Zoo

TheGrumpySquirrel · 02/11/2017 21:06

Blue lol you made me smile. I’m not getting excited but I am feeling like a bit of a hopeful twat. Really would love this to be my month.

Weasel. Rest up and take care of yourself xx big hugs

Zoo I’m sorry, I found the emotions ebb and flow until they fade a little x

@TheGrumpySquirrel Deep down we’re all a bunch of hopeful twats.

Thanks all for your words of encouragement. Bf seemed to be dealing it with reasonably well until he turned to me this morning and said he’s not ready to go back to work yet (he took 2 days off to support me and then worked from home yesterday). That’s when we decided to book it. It’s so easy to forget the effect this has on our partners, as most of the time they put a brave face on for us and don’t actually tell us how they’re feeling. Bloody men!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/11/2017 05:51

Urgh it’s now moved ov from cd12 to cd17! Only 3dpo today therefore not 8! How frustrating.. got to find some TWW patience now

BlueeSpottyTiger · 03/11/2017 07:08

zoo I'm glad your going :) have fun x
grumpy aww man! How has it changed? Looking at it now makes more sense, With the dip before ovulation. Argh must be annoying to go back to 3dpo 😣 my temp has stayed pretty much the same everyday since ovulation it's only dropped by 0.02° today. I wanna see an implantation dip and raise!!!!

KerryLeanne84 · 03/11/2017 07:25

Oh no grumpy! I’m 2dpiui so we’re almost in sync!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 03/11/2017 11:28

Figured I'd do a very quick update as you've been so caring (though if it's out of line, I'm so, so sorry). Just got back home from out scan. I'm actually measuring 6+1 rather than 6+5 (she said I could've ovulated a few days later than expected. I'm guessing maybe that happened and it got there quickly to get a positive on 11dpo. I'm not sure). But it's not ectopic, she said it's in the right place. I know it's still early and everything can change. But there's a heartbeat today and I hope there will be for the rest of my life.

Zoo33 · 03/11/2017 11:32

@UnicornsandRainbows1 I’m so pleased for you! I hope you can relax now for a bit at least and enjoy this. X

NoCatsHere · 03/11/2017 12:23

Yay xxxx

Daffodil77 · 03/11/2017 15:56

@Unicorn this has actually brought me to tears. Seeing someone get good news and what I sincerely hope is a happy ending gives the rest of us hope that the struggle we may be going through at the moment is only temporary. Xxx

ourstar · 03/11/2017 16:35

Hello. This is my first Mumsnet post. I've been using SANDS forum but it's been down for a month and I'm so frustrated I thought I'd join here.
I'm 35 and last year my daughter was born sleeping at 38.5 weeks - cause unknown. I then had a missed miscarriage, and baby hadn't developed past 5 weeks. Then another miscarriage at 6 weeks.

The 3 losses have sent my cycles all over the place. My luteal phase has been only 10 days with spotting on day 9 (it used to be 11 days). And my periods are super light when they used to be really heavy. Feeling pretty hopeless.

Flatwhite32 · 03/11/2017 17:58

@UnicornsandRainbows1 am so so pleased to hear that. Keeping everything crossed for you.

@ourstar I am so so sorry to hear your sad news. You've had so much to cope with. Have you been to your GP about everything? They can run some bloods to start with, and check your hormone levels.

weasledee · 03/11/2017 18:09

Ourstar, you’ve been through so much! I cant begin to imagine.......
But you’ve joined a great, supportive group who will be here along the way with you.....

Lotty515 · 03/11/2017 18:55

@ourstar welcome to the group. So sorry you find yourself here. I have no words except I am so very sorry for your losses. Feeling hopeless is a natural emotion - can you talk to your partner and friends and family? I have found this group to be so helpful to me for sharing and support. Admitting to the group I feel sad when I see my friends bumps etc... I would encourage you to share - there is so much information available here I hope someone has something that will help you.

Unicorns what a lovely way with words you have - so very very happy for you, we must share good news too I am so glad you did xx

beanhunter · 03/11/2017 19:38

Good news unicorn.
Our star - so sorry you've had reason for you join us. What was your daughters name?

Afm I'm out. Period started today. Onto month 35 of ttc #2 and #4 post mc.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 03/11/2017 20:07

ourstar I'm sorry for your losses :( having a baby born sleeping must have been so upsetting and heartbreaking.
