I get ovulation pain flat - esp after miscarriage, usually over a few days before I ovulate. (And I am at the moment as I think our cycles are synced up!).

For me it's twinges concentrated on either the left or the right, whichever side I'm ovulating from that month. I wouldn't say it's painful, more sharp little pains. It's very interesting to me.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 04/10/2017 14:42

My ovulation pain always hurts more on the left and is uncomfortable like you explained where if you press it. It also kinda feels like trapped wind! I have it for about around a full day at a time. Always dull never sharp.
I am however having a few cramps and sharp pains today at 6dpo.

NoCatsHere · 04/10/2017 15:32

I think the message (from the Hollie article) of trying to reach out to other woman is amazing. I had much better care than her, my medical management as good, they really looked after me and were incredibly kind to me all the time. I spent a day and a half in there passing my baby and cannot fault the service. However I'm sadden it's not like this everywhere.
grumpy sorry I should have put a warning on it, I read it just before the school run, wept buckets, and then had to massively sort myself out!

NoCatsHere · 04/10/2017 15:33

Sorry, so many typos in my last post but sure you get the gist!

NoCatsHere · 04/10/2017 15:35

5 months since mmc, and onto cycle 6 without even the nearest glimmer of a positive. I'm hoping taking ubiquinol will help a bit, feel I'm doing something at least. I'm really hopefully for a bfp by xmas. It would be wonderful wouldn't it....I guess we can all but hope.

Williams2 · 04/10/2017 15:44

Hi all you ladies so sorry for your losses, In march i had a mmc went for my 12 week scann and baby heart had stopped at 9 weeks, after months of bleeding and passing clots for 6 weeks I have now had a bfp making me nearly 11 weeks pregnant I thought it would never happen again I have a cyst on ovary causing probs etc, so.excited and I'm so I'll.this time round, keep positive ladies fingers crossed for you all xx

Flatwhite31 · 04/10/2017 20:50

Congratulations @Williams2 . I also discovered at 12 weeks that baby's heart had stopped at 9. Heartbreaking.

Thanks all for the info re ovulation pain. It is much better now and my Clearblue digital is an empty circle, so the TWW begins. Not feeling optimistic about this cycle, as it's my first proper one since MMC six weeks ago, and that bleed I had two weeks ago was SO unlike any other period I've ever had. My period coincides with my birthday, so I'm dreading being disappointed .

Really hope we get our BFPs by Xmas @NoCatsHere. It's so hard starting over.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 05/10/2017 06:38

Ditto to BFPs by Christmas 🤞🏼 trying not to think about the fact that I would have had a 2 week old baby by then. Not sure how I’ll face it if not pregnant. Was so looking forward to it being a cosy time with my newborn.

5dpo today and feeling totally normal 🤷🏻‍♀️

KerryLeanne84 · 05/10/2017 07:18

Christmas is tough anyway when you're ttc so it must be so hard having the extra layer that you'd expected to have a newborn grumpy, im so sorry. Do whatever you need to do to make it bearable.

I'm feeling odd about Christmas too, I remember last year thinking that HAD to be my last one without a baby 😔

Flatwhite31 · 05/10/2017 07:18

@TheGrumpySquirrel it's so hard not to think of 'by...I would have'. Christmas is a tough one, especially for you. I would have had my 20 week scan the week of my birthday (my birthday is 2 weeks tomorrow). I keep imagining what my bump would look like now. Never have I hated my flat stomach more.

After a few 'good' days I'm back to feeling crap again today. Sigh.

GreyCloudsToday · 05/10/2017 09:45

Ugh I had a crazy, angry, upset PMT-type meltdown with DH last night. Hope that's not me out for the month, I'm only 7dpo. I've felt really fluffy with my previous pregnancies. But then, only 1/4 of those stuck so maybe something different is good!

Yes GrumpySquirrel BFPs for all by Christmas Star

I have a mega work trip to another continent in Jan, with lots of tropical diseases and potentially dodgy reactions to food. But I really want and need to go, and I just couldn't put it off any longer just in case of getting pg and managing to stay pg! So I guess I'll have to cross that bridge when I come to it if the elusive Christmas BFP happens. It's so hard planning life on this stupid treadmill of maybes.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 05/10/2017 15:28

Christmas bfps for us all🤞🤞🤞

grey oooh sounds very interesting! What do you do for work!? I am 7dpo too, When do you plan on testing? I'm starting on sat when I'm 9dpo as I've had 2bfps at 9dpo in the past, I must be an early implanter (but i got 1 at 13dpo aswell 😂).

grumpy aww that's so tough to deal with, My Fingers are firmly crossed for you! 💖
My first mc baby would have been due 22nd Jan 8 days before my daughter is 2 :(

Kerry Well this will hopefully be your last one without a baby and you'll have one cooking nicely very soon. Xx

Ttc just makes me want to sigh sooo loud.

beanhunter · 05/10/2017 16:27

There's a lot of us around the same time po aren't there? I'm 8 today. Determined not to test quite yet. Who knows how long that will last. Not got sore boobs and that's always been my first symptoms so not feeling optimistic.

yellowfrontdoor · 05/10/2017 16:53

I think I'm around 6dpo today, basing that on my positive opks. Got positives on Thursday & Friday am but back to normal Friday pm & Saturday. Does anyone think that sounds about right?!
I have very long erratic cycles though so trying to hold out until 18th October to test, we have a spa break booked so I want to know before we go.
But similarly to you @beanhunter I don't have sore boobs either which is always a first symptom for me, as is joint pain. I've had a little bit of a crampy tummy but whether that's psychosomatic I don't know!

My first due date is this month (24th) & I'm dreading it too, I also harboured first Christmas newborn fantasies. I'd love to be pregnant by then... and to stay pregnant this time Sad

KerryLeanne84 · 05/10/2017 18:12

Thanks Tiger 🎄🎄🎄fingers crossed none of us have to go through many more christmases like that

Flatwhite31 · 05/10/2017 18:26

That sounds about right @yellowfrontdoor. I got flashing smilies on Sat, Sun and Mon morning. I then got a static smiley on Mon evening and a very strong line OPK on Tues morning (although DTD in the evening due to work). Think ovulation for me was yesterday as I had horrible abdominal pain in the morning, then it went away by the evening. If it was then, it's a shame we didn't get to DTD Wed morning, but that's just unrealistic for us with a 6am alarm!

beanhunter · 06/10/2017 08:31

So my resolve not to test didn't last. Definite bfn this am. I'm not even suprised but still gutted. When will I learn?

BlueeSpottyTiger · 06/10/2017 08:42

Oh bean :( it is still very early, Typical day for implantation is 9dpo. I think I'm an early implanter (like I've mentioned before)
I'm 8dpo potentially 9dpo (i always go with the shorter one) but today my frer as an extremely faint line.

mummykezza · 06/10/2017 09:38

Morning ladies. Can I ask how long you think it would roughly take to ovulate again after my MC? I had the strong pains 2 weeks ago (on the Thurs) and then started bleeding on the Sunday. Lasted about 5/6 days. I heard i could OV 2 weeks after so that would be around now but myopk was negative this morning.

Just wondered what your thoughts / experience was? Am desparate to start again xx

NoCatsHere · 06/10/2017 09:51

bean let's hope it was too early, I know that disappointment too well. I always promise not to test and ALWAYS cave. Fingers crossed for you.

blue you have a faint line you said on a frer this morning? That sounds really hopeful?

kezza I know it varies so much from person to person. My cycles were back on track really fast after the first mc and I ov 2 weeks after my mc but second time round they were out of whack for about 3 months.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 06/10/2017 10:32

This is it.. like i said very faint! Expert line eyes needed!!! It appeared within 1min and still there lol.
8/9dpo. Got 3 more frers so will test again in the morning. Was crampy again around 4 am for 2hours now it's gone!

Fingers crossed blue x

mummykezza · 06/10/2017 11:16

I can see a faint line there bluee..... but make sure you've looked within the advised 3 minutes. I had an evap line once which really threw me.

But I definitely see something :)

yellowfrontdoor · 06/10/2017 11:41

Keeping it all crossed @BlueeSpottyTiger Smile
