I'm off the September Bus before it even leaves the station and thanks to my longer cycle I thought I'd start the October page.

Can anyone help with bbt charting cause apparently I’m struggling. So got my peak today but can’t make head nor take of my bbt as it fluctuates massively. I know I missed a couple of days but past few days it has counted a lot of my temps as inaccurate.

I work shifts starting 8am or 9am so alarm goes off at either 6am or 7am so can’t really take temp at exact same time every day.

How does my chart look?

10dpo and going out of my mind.

Work really not interesting enough to distract me. Think I can get away with doing sudoku at my desk?

2017willbebetter · 26/09/2017 15:51

Hello all - been a bit of a lurker I am afraid but going a bit crazy so just needed to see if any of you ladies can offer any words of wisdom...

So I had my mirena iud out on 12th Sept, had a VERY heavy af a couple of days later, then when that finished I started using opks so I could track my cycle.

Then, only 2 days after AF I had 2 days of positive opks!

Anyway that would make me 7dpo today and I have light bleeding, like the start of another AF...

OMG - this will be baby no 3 for us so I am not new to this madness but boy I had forgotten how frustrating it is!!

Anyone have any experience of post-mirena cycle chaos?

Xxx

Aph413 · 26/09/2017 16:08

2017 I'm currently in my first cycle post mirena. I had a light bleed 4 days after removal and then nothing. I've not had a positive opk this cycle but had 12 highs so who knows what my cycle is doing. Fingers crossed for you

Fia256 · 26/09/2017 16:56

I did a test today. I’m 7dpo. If that. BFN, obviously 🙄 what an idiot, someone please slap me! I’m already thinking about what time to try tomorrow too, I need help 😂

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 26/09/2017 17:00

I won't slap you but I will nab the tests away for a few more days :P

10dpo and fmu. You're welcome

HolyShmoly · 26/09/2017 17:30

I'm holding firm till Sunday (12dpo)

But mostly cause I told dh to hide the tests on me. Hold strong Fia!

I’m going to try, I just have no willpower! I’ve always had bfps at 8 and 9dpo in the past, so it makes me sooo tempted!

Also having major hot sweats this afternoon for no apparent reason. Was the earliest sign with my last pregnancy too.

I’m sure all this will mean I’m most definitely not this month Grin

carringtonm · 26/09/2017 18:11

Don’t test too soon! I did that and got a BFN last week, and it’s just a waste of a test. I know you all know this already, but testing or not testing doesn’t change the result! If you’re pregnant, you’re pregnant and you still will be in a week’s time!

I’ll leave out the part where DP had to hide the tests from me because I’d become obsessed!

Owlpatrol · 26/09/2017 19:17

Cycle 11 boo!

Been off contraception for over a year but actively trying 11 months

Fingers crossed this month ladies xx

Fingerscrossedandfairydust · 27/09/2017 07:12

So I had my first positive OPK this morning but worried I peaked too soon as already made DH BD twice yesterday. I think he is starting to feel the pressure - and BD for me is becoming about the end game rather than enjoying the moment. Any tips to keep the Magic alive / avoid giving DH performance anxiety?!

Bitofeverything · 27/09/2017 08:00

I can't believe we're actually trying.

Cycle 1
(Came off pill beginning of August, but period took time to arrive - so possibly cycle 2?)
I thought I would be really happy to be trying, but am actually feeling so stressed that it won't actually work? Is this normal? Thought it would be all "joyful" but feeling so tense!

Bitofeverything · 27/09/2017 08:04

And good luck everyone!

CherryVicky29 · 27/09/2017 08:15

So ladies would you say I ovulated yesterday?

Me and Dp bd yesterday morning before my positive on the clear blue, unfortunalty due to along shift yesterday and an early start for him today we haven’t had a chance to BD today yet.

So my question is from the test in pic would you say yesterday was my ovulation day.

Top is clear blue digital taken yesterday AM, muddle is normal test taken yesterday PM and bottom is test taken today AM but looks more faded 🙂

CherryVicky29 · 27/09/2017 08:16

Forgot to add pic for my post oops

Fia256 · 27/09/2017 09:27

@CherryVicky29 are you temping at all or just opks? They say you can ovulate anywhere from 12-36 hours after your first positive

CherryVicky29 · 27/09/2017 09:47

@Fia256 I am tempting but having so many issues as seems to fluctuate loads due to me waking up at different times due to different start times.

I had a temp rise today but it’s classed it as inaccurate 😔

October Bus - More treats than tricks please!
Fia256 · 27/09/2017 10:05

@CherryVicky29 ahh I see, I’m having similar problems too with it. I seem to have slow rising temps for the first few days after ovulation, so FF has put my ovulation date back 🤔

Do you have any more tests left? Maybe take one more this afternoon?

CherryVicky29 · 27/09/2017 10:10

@Fia256 yes it’s frustrating isn’t it ff says I ovulated between cd9 & 10 which is completely wrong haha.

Yeah that’s a good idea will test again once finished work 🙂

Poptart4 · 27/09/2017 10:44

@fingerscrossed I think twice a day is a bit much. It's in danger of becoming a chore. They say once every 2nd day is best as it gives the sperm a chance to regenerate. I don't tell dp when I'm ovulating or discuss any of it with him really. He knows we're ttc but I don't want to spoil the 'magic' by going on about it because it will put pressure on him. Mind you there was one night during my fertile week when neither one of us was up for it but we had to just get on with it. Not romantic is it? But that's ttc, sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do.

Welcome @bitofeverything. What you're feeling is totally normal. Having a baby is a huge life change. It's normal to feel stressed, excited, nervous and worried. Im feeling all of these all at once lol

CoffeeWithMyOxygen · 27/09/2017 11:31

I caved and tested this morning. BFN Sad AF is due the 30th so I don't think it was too early for a FRER. Ah well, guess it's not my month.

hellotoyellow · 27/09/2017 11:54

I'm out again. Cycle 11 here I come... BFP due 23/oct!

NimbleKnitter · 27/09/2017 12:06

Negative test at 11dpo so I’m out this cycle. Buying a ticket for the October bus.

Due to arrive at destination - 25 October.

Almost glad about this cycle - due date would have been my birthday, and DH is following day, so all of us in one week might have been too much!

Merrz · 27/09/2017 12:24

AF arrived so that's me out this month too Sad
Cycle 6 here we go, roll on 27th October, does anyone else just hate how much this puts your life on hold, constantly waiting for a date and not wanting to make any plans, hoping this will be the month.
@Poptart4 I don't discuss with DH either, apart from he knows we're TTC, don't want to put pressure on and it's bad enough the let down i feel every month don't want him date/cycle watching too.

Bitofeverything · 27/09/2017 12:32

Thanks, Poptart! I always knew it would stress me out... but am already convincing myself that totally overthinking it is going to make it not happen!
